Breakfast is great! I love their eggs Benedict. The servers are really nice, friendly and very attentive.

Besides being too busy to keep proper track of orders, there seems to be an elephant in the room with regard who the manager puts out in front with the customer and who she hides away in the kitchen and washing dishes. All the blacks in the back. All the whites out front. For a black community that provides her with quite a large portion of her business this is slap in the face to the black people of Killeen. This is what Denny's is trying for, except Jimmy's actually does it. The food was well prepared and it wasn't overcrowded. The coffee was good too. I don't take cream or sugar so a dirty coffee maker or burnt coffee really stands out. This coffee was perfect diner coffee. read more

I've been to this place twice and both times it was mediocre. The first occasion wasn't that bad although the breakfast was very basic and not that tasty. The second occasion I bought my granddaughters and we waited 40 minutes for our food. Will pass on eating here again. read more

Food was ok. The Almost Healthy Skillet was okay but it needed to have more spinach. It had one leaf torn in about seven or eight pieces. I got this particular Skillet because I like to eat more vegetables. My husband's vegetarian omelette was good however his side of mini pancakes were raw inside. Even after replacements came out the second batch of pancakes were raw inside also. Secondarily, I didn't feel the love from our male server even before he sent back the pancakes. We were in town for a few days and decided we would not go back again even after our host offered to treat. This restaurant wasn't just average, it was below average. It was just okay. The cinnamon roll pancakes were good. The homefries were absolutely nothing like the picture when ordering and had way too much seasoning. This is a very busy restaurant on a Saturday morning. Grits were very lumpy and lacked proper seasoning. Gravy tasted like flour and also lacked seasoning. Some plate items were hot and some were cold. I was excited to try this place and you get a lot of food for your money and we had great service but honestly the food tasted really bland.

As we were pulling up the place looked small from the outside, but once you walk in you would be surprised on how big the inside is. As soon as we walked in they sat us down. The waitress came right over to us and the place was packed but their customer service is awesome. We ordered our food and it didn't take long for the food to come out. I ordered a pickup order at this location through Uber eats. It told me my order would be ready at 6:50. I arrived at the place at 6:45, waited in my car for a few minutes until 650, walked in, and asked for my order. Then Uber notified me that my order was just canceled by the restaurant. She said they are too busy to make my order, and they only had probably ten people at three different tables waiting on food. We have visited jimmy eggs twice the first time the service was slow and gave them the benefit of the doubt since we went at peak times. So we Went today we arrive around 7:30 pretty slow time on Mother's Day we were able to seat our selves husband my son and I. We Waited 5 Mins to see our server seems like anybody can just pick up a table. Server kept picking tables making herself flustered and taking a while to bring things napkins water food you could tell on her face that she took many tables .. Seems like they don't have Proper training or designated areas that servers can only take. We arrived at 730 and we got out close to 9am. And it was only 3 people. First time we went food was bland. Second time, the food was okay. Husband didn't like the chicken and waffles tasted bland. This new restaurant is the "Go To" place for an amazing breakfast or lunch, since they close at 2. Hats off to Regina and her amazing staff.
