The first time we went to this place, the service was terrible , we waited too much and we decided to ask the lady to change the order to go. We went home and surprisingly the food was great. I brought my husband here for breakfast. I was worried due to people waiting outside, usual for Sunday in Killeen. The hostess was friendly and took our name and gave us a time of 10-15 min wait. I was skeptical due to the crowded restaurant. We were at our table in 10 mins. The waitress was also friendly and fast with taking our orders. Food was hot,excellent and plentiful. The allure of it always open during breakfast and lunch only, made me and my wife find time to go here. Very disappointing; it's just a Denny's that's not open very long. I've ate at Jimmy's Egg recently, and I have to say it's one of the most mediocre egg places I've ever been to, And trust me, I've had enough egg whites to know what good breakfast should taste like. So I went to jimmy's egg with my 'friend', and surprisingly enough, the place was empty enough to fit my truck into a few parking spaces. I got inside, and had a hard time fitting my towering muscles through the door. NOT a good thing for a place with "egg" in the name, as egg is a protein providing powerhouse that is supposed to fuel big muscles but whatever. We were seated and immediately offered menus and to my surprise, I was let down again when I saw that they don't offer healthy protein smoothies. As my striking girlfriend and I were just fresh from the gym and had forgotten our protein smoothies, we were honestly kind of offended. Or at least I was. When the employee asked for what we want to drink, I asked for some milk and blended egg whites, but the employee looked at me oddly. I laughed at his inability to grasp the reasoning behind getting big muscles and just ordered orange juice instead, and my friend (that my wife doesn't know about) got a water. I made the decision to order eggs and ham for my girlfriend, as it's what I ordered and she didn't know what she wanted. I have to say, when the food arrived, I thought it looked half decent, but honestly, it tasted like the ass-end of an obese person (don't ask me how I know). I hastily finished my food, not because I didn't want to seem rude for not eating, but because I thought I saw my wife enter the restaurant. When I remembered that there was no way my wife would find me, I slowed down and surveyed the restaurant. Just as I had expected, I was surrounded by weaklings and no other men with muscles even half-way rivaling mine. I payed for my bill and walked out with my girlfriend as I think I offended another customer by calling him weak for ordering some extremely sweet cinnamon roll. No matter, I know he was only jealous of me. Anyways though, I really didn't have a good experience here. I would rather eat at McDonalds, and that's saying something as McDonalds is too unhealthy to support a lifestyle like mine. read more

My husband took me this past weekend for breakfast and it was delicious! I got the cinnamon roll pancakes and they were the best I've ever had. I tried his breakfast skillet and it was really good too! The bacon was a little smokier than what I prefer, but still good. I ordered the caramel pancakes combination with eggs, turkey sausage, and ordered a side of hash browns. The caramel pancakes were amazing!!! I would order again! The caramel, apples, and streusel were pure perfection. I ordered the fudge ice coffee which tasted like coffee with chocolate syrup but the cinnamon ice coffee tasted like a horchata coffee. I went by myself and sat at the bar around 9:15-9:20. My food was done at 9:35 I sat and watched in the window for 10 minutes then I asked another server about my food and she goes in get it... and it was the cold crunchy waffle that was sitting in the window. I tell the manager straight away that my waffle was cold and crunchy and that I've been watching it sit inside the window for 10 minutes... she basically tells me they can fe make it and blah their sorry.. I told her I don't have time for that I have to open my store and I already just wasted 30 minutes of my time I have to go. She then comps my food and tell me their sorry and that's it. I normally enjoy jimmy eggs but lately their service has declined big time, if choose to sat at the bar because I was alone and didn't feel like waiting 30 minutes for a table. Highly disappointed and I satisfied that I wasted my free time before work in there for nothing with no resolution. I would NOT recommend this franchise no longer. read more

When arrived we was told it would be an 20 min wait. After 30 min the table was not large enough we was told it would be an additional 30min to hour. Three stars because the food is good. First time we went we had a great waitress. We waited a long time for the food but she kept our drinks filled and checked on us. My husband and I went today and our male server was nice but never refilled our drinks. I had to ask for it and every time he talked to us, he was already walking away. Our food came out in a timely manner but my side item never came out. Waiter said it will be out but instead he went and sat down and ate his own lunch. He only got back up to give us our bill. My missing food did come out because I asked a nice lady (that I think might be a manager) about it. She said she was going to discount my food but never did. I wasn't going to wait another hour just for that. I didn't even want to tip the waiter but I am not that low of a person. WHO ALLOWS THERE SERVERS TO EAT LUNCH WHILE THEY HAVE 6 OR MORE TABLES TO SERVE. Not sure if we will be going back. read more

I wanted to like this place more than I did. The environment & wait staff are nice; the menu is interesting. However, not only did my food come out cold, but so did everyone in my party, & none of us ordered something that was supposed to be cold. Because of this, I haven't returned even though I wanted to try several other items on the menu. I'm not sure if I will, particularly since I've now moved out of the immediate area. I do kinda wish it could have extended hours though. It would still be successful serving a brunch menu. It adds a welcomed alternative to fast food. We have been going to Jimmy's Eggs ever since it opened. We used to go to I Hop but no more. Jimmy's Egg is fantastic. You have one waitress there, Tiffany, who is phenomenal! She always greets us when we come in, always has a smile on her face and ensures we are well taken care of. Tiffany verifies our order and constantly checks up on us throughout our meal. When ever we come I we try, if possible, to be seated in her area due to her fantastic customer service. Tiffany is definitely as asset to your business. read more

Came here after church on Sunday with my mother in law and two kiddos. The servers were very nice and topped off everything and cleared plates regularly. My mother in law got the chicken fried steak which tasted great. She also had biscuits and gravy which were fine. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was pretty good, but would have been a bit bland without the jalapeños i added. The home fries were pretty good and my kids enjoyed their pancakes. The place was clean and light. Only reason for reason i docked a star is because the employees took their smoke breaks right outside the side door, which is all fine and good but since we were seated right next to that door it followed them strongly in the door when they came back. It was raining so that may have just been a one time thing. The food is decent and the prices are fair so if you're looking for a solid breakfast place to go to this ones pretty good. read more
