The spices were just right, and the portion size was generous. Our server was super friendly and made great recommendations (shoutout to the fried gator tails). We came in, a party of 7. 5 adults, 2 kids. 4 pm. Slow, no business yet. Our server greeted us and we got our drinks. Appetizers showed up and we ordered our meals. That's where it went down hill. It took an exceptionally long time to get our meals. When we did, everything was hot and tasty. However, we had to flag our server down several times for drink refills. It was Ash Wednesday and business did pick up the later it got. The place still looks the same, the menu has changed some but they have a lunch menu that goes till 5 pm which is real nice. Atmosphere was good, staff was friendly. The food was overcooked, the grilled catfish was 80% dry, the friend catfish was caked in breading , fish flavor was a miss. I have been to other Razzoo's and they all were full of flavor and cooked to perfection, sad to say I was disappointed. read more

Well no YUENGLING and no Pinot Grigio SO WE DID NOT START OUT ON THE RIGHT FOOT. I had the Blackened Tilapia with dirty rice and green beans, Very good dinner and cooked well, green beans were different from what I expected but good. My wife had the Zydeco Pasta, Penne pasta in Creole cream sauce, with the blackened chicken she loved it. We had three kids meals and they vacuumed them up and enjoyed them. The other meal was the Poor Boy Shrimp sandwich with hushpuppies everything was great and spot on. It was getting busy and the volume started to pick up but it was a good vibe for the rest of the meal. Our waitress did a great job and was Johnny on the spot through out the meal. 10.01.2025 - RAZZOO'S - KILLEEN, TEXAS - I arrived here after work for an early dinner - I was craving for Cajun but I didn't want fried chicken or they typical seafood boil. I want something more comforting so I ordered Shrimp Étouffée - I know originally it's supposed to be Crayfish/Crawdad but I opted to take the shrimp version. I'm eating alone so I only ordered the Étouffée and key lime pie. So far it's been very pleasant and I love all the flavors. The Étouffée had this hint of creaminess- it could be butter or cream but it tasted so good dipping my garlic toast in its sauce. So delicious! The key lime pie was also perfect with its like flavors - tangy and sweet and yummy creamy. I really love it. I will definitely return to try maybe their gumbo someday! read more

Honestly the food was not good. It was like not hitting I thought it would. And I'm big back, I'd dam near eat anything.... But this place.. I felt like I was on ozempic I took like 3 bites and that was it. Also the service was ass ngl. The waiter came to check us on 2 times and that was it... Now I remember why it had been years since we had visited Razoos. The food is mid at best. Now, there may be a couple dishes or something that are really good but I haven't come across them. I know I'm a super tough critic when it comes to Cajun food especially but the things I have tried are underwhelming and not always what I would consider traditional. Growing up in the kitchens of my Cajun grandma and my Mexican grandma...I know what these dishes are comprised of and what I've tasted, isn't quite it. Nothing I had was BAD per se, not at all. It's just not for me, it just kind of makes me sad that it wasn't done "right". Example, today I had a cup of gumbo...well the flavors just weren't quite right at all. Again, wasn't bad, just couldn't taste the developed roux or the trinity, and the rice seemed like minute rice. The other dish I had today was blackened shrimp and cheesy grits...sounds delish right? Well...the shrimp were great! The grits had great cheesy rich flavor which was nice but wasn't quite the right texture but the weird part was the tomato based cream sauce that the shrimp were swimming in around the grit island. The sauce, again was not bad but it tasted more like an Italian pink sauce that would go great with pasta...not Cajun seasoned shrimp. It was the weirdest shrimp and grits I've ever had, not Cajun style at all. Others in my group had the Memaw crawfish and crab legs boil which they said was good, but there were several crawfish that looked like the MUD BUGS they are, quite dirty! Those were left behind. Another member of our group had a fried basket and said it was wonderful, it did look great! The fried foods I think they have down. Sooooo if you're a connoisseur of Cajun food and visiting...maybe go for fried foods if you can, don't expect them to bring you home with any traditional dishes. read more

Unfortunately, my first experience and my wife's first time back to Razzoo's in several years was disappointing to us both, while the service was excellent and attentive, the food was disappointing. The shrimp my wife received tasted as if it was expired or very close to it, while her pasta itself was not altered as requested, and was smothered in creole oil rather than the advertised creole cream sauce. My dish was simple fried food but food all had a lingering aftertaste of old fryer oil. We will have to give this place another try in the months to come but as of now I can't say I'd recommend this place to any of my friends. read more

Wonderful experience at Razzo's! I arrived with my parents for lunch on a Friday and Layla was our server. She was so friendly and helpful while also joking and playing along with our sense of humor. I want to try this place again. The food was good but it was not freezing cold but not really warm. I had the pasta but got it without meat. I got a drink too. The chicken was moist topped with a smooth white gravy. The green were not the favorite but I had to give them a try. My wife order the jambalaya pasta it had the right amount of heat and big enough portion for a family. The decor was Cajun cultured and it wasn't too loud either. Nice ambience, the location is relax and friendly. Fried gator was nice, hot and delicious. Will definitely enjoy again. Shrimp Cajun Etouffe the shrimp were not clean and there were a few with shell still on them. They were like baby can shrimp. Sent back immediately. Changed order to Chicken Tchoupitoulas, which was delicious as well. Garlic toast tasted like dry toast no garlic flavor and lightly buttered. Did not eat. Decided to try bread pudding to go. Was told delicious. Don't know tossed in trash when I got home. Looked more like a dry cake. That's not bread pudding. It's was hard and looked like it was previously frozen. 6/3/25 My mother and I attended Razzoo's around 5pm. We were sat quickly and then forgotten, after about 15 minutes of no wait staff, we flagged down the manager, Jose I believe that was his name. He took my mom's drink order, brought the drink to the table introduced us to our waiter, and took our food order. The blacken chicken lacked flavor, and the easy burger well it was just that easy. We waited for our bill, watch many tables sending back their food, and watched other patrons be over looked by staff and not get service. There were plenty of staff members there, so the lack of proper management, may need attention. read more

I have dined at Razzoo's in College Station many times and was great food. Visited this location in Harker Heights and it was terrible. You could tell the shrimp, and fish were fried in old grease. There was a bad aftertaste of old grease! What a shame and disappointing experience at this location. $40 down the tubes after a few bites I threw it in the trash. Never again!!! read more

Always a great time at Razoo's! The food is amazing and affordable for what you get. I typically get the Andouille Sausage and Red Beans and Rice, but during our most recent visit I decided to live up to my Floridian roots and change it up and try the Grilled Alligator. It was delicious! It was so tender and perfectly spicy! The have a great gluten free menus too, so that gets bonus points from me!
