Great little place out in the country on Hwy 29. Its the 2nd or 3rd time we've stopped for the Triple Pib sandwich; bbq pork, bacon and ham

Now THIS is lobster. Absofuckinglutely. Yes. I was raised here but have been living in San Diego…read more I've tried every recommended restaurant with lobster over there. Even Marine Room which is $$$$. This was still the best lobster I've ever had. It's not even comparable. Seriously I don't think there's a single place on this planet that can offer you better lobster than George bistro. Where did yall get this from my god this lobster was loved and respected in its childhood. It was well cared for. Delicious af. So tender so tasty so JUICY. It was exploding juices and no that was not the butter because I asked for butter on the side. Now that we got that out of the way, the service is also great. Very hospitable and kind. The guy in front of us was eating alone and Father's Day and I could tell the waitress was making an effort to chat with him and make him feel less alone. It's like family over here. Such a breath of fresh air from the snobby bitches in San Diego. Come here for any occasion. Fancy, casual, celebration, idgaf just come. *Oh also I got the berry soda. DELICIOUS and beautiful. Berries in it, creamy like a milkshake, sweet, whipped cream, tastes like pink drink from Starbucks x10000000

Food was great 1st visit so we came back and glad to say food was again delicious! Hubby had fried…read moreshrimp and oysters and I had Mahi tacos. The reason I rated 4 star not 5 is we were charged $0.79 for 2nd small little cup of tartar sauce. We weren't told asking for a condiment would be extra. And really it's not the 79 cents at all... it's feeling like they were nickel and dime-ing us which is not appropriate when we're paying for 2 full meals, cocktails and dessert! Place wasn't crowded either for lunch time and we had plenty of time to sit and enjoy the nice weather and outside dining. Our ticket was $80 and yes we added generous tip because waitress was very attentive and friendly.

The service is friendly, quick and a-tentative. They come by and check frequently. The food is excellent and the portions! From the huge tray of nachos, bowl of gumbo, fried or blackend seafood, salads and sandwiches to name a few. There is ample seating whether you prefer the outdoor patio or in the air conditioning inside. If it's your thing, they have a full service bar and evening live music. Definitely a place to try just off US90 before the Escambia River Bridge. Try it! You won't be Disappointed.

Goat Lips Chew & Brew House feels like the kind of place that was designed after someone said,…read more"What if every room had a different personality and the backyard never ended?" And honestly? The vibe is the star here. This place is wildly eclectic in the best way. A huge outdoor area that feels built for lingering, laughing, and losing track of time, plus a maze of themed rooms inside that make every turn feel like you accidentally walked into a different bar. It's unique, memorable, and exactly the kind of place you want to love before the food even hits the table. The service definitely helped that cause. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely pleasant from start to finish. Then the pretzel appetizer arrived and apparently chose violence. The beer cheese sauce had the consistency of warm yellow water and somehow even less personality. The pretzel itself tasted like it had been baptized in butter but still came out bland, which is honestly an achievement. I didn't know something could be both greasy and forgettable, but here we are. Thankfully, I was aggressively encouraged to order the club sandwich. "You HAVE to get it," they said. For once, the hype mostly paid off. The bread was toasted beautifully, full of crunch and flavor, and the sandwich as a whole really worked. Now, the meat? Let's just say it had strong gas station cold-cut energy. Perfectly edible, nothing offensive, but nobody's writing songs about it. That said, the mayo situation deserves its own fan club. There's some kind of mustard-seasoned magic happening in that spread, and it absolutely carries the whole sandwich across the finish line. Honestly, give me that toast cut into strips and a bowl of that sauce, and I'm a happy man. Forget the turkey, let me dip carbs directly into whatever wizardry they whipped up back there. So where does Goat Lips land? A place with a killer atmosphere, great service, one appetizer that should be investigated, and one sandwich condiment worthy of applause. The experience averages out exactly where the stars do: right down the middle. Three stars. Goat Lips is average food wrapped in an unforgettable setting, which somehow makes the whole thing more fun than it probably deserves.
