Great little place out in the country on Hwy 29. Its the 2nd or 3rd time we've stopped for the Triple Pib sandwich; bbq pork, bacon and ham

Those are not filling appetizers so I had an antree which was the Pasta and Mushrooms. The entree was the least expensive entree but was still excellent. I sat at the bar because I was by myself. I was hoping for some engagement with fellow people at the bar but it did not happen. What was disappointing was that as a backup, I had hoped for engagement with the bartenders. They were not busy as it was 5 pm. Instead they engaged with each other. They were having a blast yoking and joking and talking about movies. I would have liked to have been a part of it. The service was timely. Other people brought out my 3 servings. I did not feel compelled to give the bartenders anything more than just above 10% because I left feeling a bit angry. Usually when I am by myself and I sit at the bar, I get good attention. The bartenders can make a drink and that is about it.

She took the time to go over all the specials and let us know that everything is made in house since it's a scratch kitchen, which was a nice touch. We arrived right when they opened, and the restaurant filled up fast, so it's definitely a popular spot. We ordered the George Fries, and they were absolutely loaded! The portion was huge and could easily feed two people as an appetizer. For my entrée, I had the Truffle Chicken Alfredo, and it was delicious. The noodles were thick, chewy, and cooked perfectly, and the sauce was rich without being too heavy. It also happened to be my boyfriend's and my anniversary, and the staff surprised us with a complimentary chocolate cake, which was such a thoughtful gesture. We were so full that we had to wait until we got home to enjoy it! Overall, the food, service, and hospitality were all amazing. Definitely a 10/10 experience, and we'll be back the next time we're in town!

The reason I rated 4 star not 5 is we were charged $0.79 for 2nd small little cup of tartar sauce. We weren't told asking for a condiment would be extra. And really it's not the 79 cents at all... it's feeling like they were nickel and dime-ing us which is not appropriate when we're paying for 2 full meals, cocktails and dessert! Place wasn't crowded either for lunch time and we had plenty of time to sit and enjoy the nice weather and outside dining. Our ticket was $80 and yes we added generous tip because waitress was very attentive and friendly.

The service is friendly, quick and a-tentative. They come by and check frequently. The food is excellent and the portions! There is ample seating whether you prefer the outdoor patio or in the air conditioning inside. If it's your thing, they have a full service bar and evening live music. Definitely a place to try just off US90 before the Escambia River Bridge. Try it! You won't be Disappointed.
