It's been a minute since I've been here. I ate in this time and was with my grandson (1 years old). The staff was so exceptional and accommodating that I can't even put it into words. We felt like family that stopped over for lunch. I wish I could remember the sweetest woman that waited on us but I can say she is a rock star and an angel. Always the food is delicious no matter what you choose. I just want to thank you so much for everything. If you haven't been here then you're missing out.

Quesito from joes caribe

So I have only ever gone to joes for the bakery.... idk what happened recently but it has become HORRIBLE! I can not explain nor understand how ththey are getting away selling these baked goods... they are barely even edible. Something has changed anhopedont think they will fix it. What we ate appeared to be a quesito... once eaten, it seemed to be a rock with the taste of unsalted Unflavored dirt.

I went to Joe's Caribe for the bakery. They had a number of delicious looking treats but my mission was to get pastelitos de Guayaba . Unfortunately the expectations fell short. There were so little in the pastries that you couldn't even taste it. Just pastry and air. But I also got a Tres Leche to share and that was good. Hopefully it was just an off day for pastelitos.

I recommend this place 100%. If you looking for Caribbean food this is the place food is absolutely delicious. Excellent service

This cuban resto is located in the middle of a busy area off 9th avenue close to Chens Chinese Place. The food they serve range from pork to chicken cuban/ puerto rican style that I've never tasted before. Let me start with their fresh delicious drinks. I got mango and my husb got papaya flavor. Its very tasty and fresh for only $4! For fresh juice, its an awesome deal. The entree- I got the dried pork with 2sides plantain and yellow. Everything in the plate was delicious and very tasty. This food is close to filipino food, for $11 I don't need to go to Fil resto. This is good enough! The spicy jerky chicken is so-so. I did tasted the hint of spiciness but not spicy enough for my taste. The chicken and sauce did not compliment the dish. Its lacking something. Maybe if they add a little more sweetness and spiciness to it, it will probably taste even better. For $11, not worth it.

Chicharron de Pollo o Cerdo

Holy Smokes... FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC food, Y'all! I've been wanted to try this Caribbean food truck for quite some time, and now I'm kicking myself for not going sooner. I really wanted to order the whole menu because everything sounded so delicious. I ended up ordering the Chicharron de Cerdo (fried pork belly) and two empanadas, one chicken and one cheese. The chicharron was tender, fatty, and so flavorful. The rice was seasoned well and the fried plantains were perfect. The empanadas were really good as well. The chicken was great and although I did enjoy the cheese, I felt it could've had more filling. Thanks for a most excellent dinner. Really looking forward to next time!

On a random overnight trip through Pensacola.... I was laying on the hotel bed trying to find…read moresomething to eat. Gud Vybz popped up in the Yelp search with decent reviews. So, I ordered online. Mini chicken curry, rice & peas and cabbage and it was surprisingly better than I expected. I'd def order again. Also, I have my eye on the brown stewed chicken on my way home. I recommend. Oh, it may smell like weed when you walk in. You'll get used to it quickly. Hahahahaha Happy eating!

This restaurant came highly recommended by one of my friends that live in Florida…read more The decor was a nice friendly atmosphere, very relaxing and welcoming. Each table is set up where you have the option to play checkers, dominos, uno or other games. We came here to eat - it never crossed our mind to sit and play games - maybe next time. We started with their rum punch, it wasn't bad. The rum wasn't overpowering the drink so that was a plus. We ordered the stew chicken, jerk chicken, plantains and festival. Everything was really good, not too spicy. The Jerk chicken portion was large, I wasn't expecting that much chicken but I was happy. Gud Vybz is more than just a restaurant, you can hangout here and listen to the music while playing various games. Next time, I'm coming for the food, drinks, music and games. I wasn't ready for this place it exceeded my expectation.

We love this place. The staff is friendly, and the food is amazing…read more The chicken is juicy and flavorful, the skin of course is the best part. The Mac and cheese is some of the best Mac and cheese I've ever had. The rice and beans are delicious along with the plantains. The Cole slaw is also the best Cole slaw in the area. We love having this place walking distance to us. It's a perfect lunch or dinner spot.

I went to their soft opening and they ran out of chicken and never came back until now 2/2025. They…read morewere apologetic and gave me a free meal on next visit, but I never used it because I lost the piece of note she (the owner) provided. This visit, the moment I walked to the counter I was greeted with a smile, and I remember her from my first visit. I ordered the 1/2 chicken because it was only $3 more than a 1/4 chicken with 2 sides. You get both white and dark meat and I order fried Yucca and black beans & rice. The chicken has so much flavor from the charcoal. The Yucca was perfectly fried fresh, and the black beans and rice were satisfying. It is a little pricey about $27 with fountain drink and a 15% tip (in my opinion they should not ask with their point of sale system when it is not a full service restaurant). This is the reason why they got a 3 star instead of 4 stars. This reminds me of Peruvian style rotisserie chicken that I use to eat when I lived in Washington DC area. Here, they are branded as Latin American Charcoal Chicken. This not a full service restaurant. You order at the counter and pick up at the order at the other end. They have a small but adequate dining room. I wonder how they are during a lunch and dinner rush. I will soon see.
