Have also had the seafood chowder, mussels and shrimp loaf which comes with lettuce and tomatoes. Every Friday night there is a live band which starts at 8 pm, always great vibes. However service was blunt and not the friendly atmosphere that we are use to here. And since there was only one item on them menu, the food actually came out quickly. Food was okay. Lobster was good considering it needed to be flown in and they were on the bigger side. Corn was excellent. Potatoes were undercooked and the mussels were overcooked. It was hard to take them off the shell because they were that shrivelled. And the biscuits were terrible. They were an afterthought. Dry and sandy in texture. I would come back here for a restaurant for sure because we sure enjoyed the food. And they have teh best lobster rolls. But I wouldn't come back for the price point for the boil. ( I think it was close to 70 bucks a person). I will just grab my own lobster and make sure my potatoes are cooked.

It was fairly basic. Service was okay but again not memorable. She did her job, but wasn't what I call friendly. Food was a big hit and miss. First the good. The Asparagi e Patate salad which consisted of Fire roasted asparagus, kale and potatoes with dijon grainy mustard and white balsamic dressing, topped with a med-boiled egg, parmigiano Reggiano and truffle oil It was probably the best salad I have had all year. Fresh, flavourful and tasty. We also split two pizzas. Super disappointing. Look at the so called toppings on the. Skimpy. The crust was good but I was shocked on how much they charged for a couple pieces of sausage. Probably won't go there again for the price they charge. I will probably stick to the cafeteria food in the hospital. At least you know what you are in for.

We got the cheese with this jalapeño jam. The cheese would melt onto the bread, but the highlight was the jam. The cool jam with hot cheese pairs well, then the heat of the jalapeños comes after. Would buy a jar of it for sandwiches at home. The only problem was the bread was so thick, took away our apatite. Pizza was solid. We could have shared one after the appetizer but we both enjoyed our selection. They bring parm, flakes and chili oil to the table which is a nice touch. Wish I would have tried the gelato but was full by the end of the meal

Just the right amount of flavor, and a perfect start to the meal. After that, we shared the beef bibimbap rice dish, along with the chicken karaage. I am usually drawn towards the specials of the day. I went with a friend, and we tried a variety of menu items. Chicken Karaage - Japanese classic crispy fried chicken, green tea salt, and chili mayo. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Lovely spiced skin. We also tried the salmon pressed sushi which was fabulous. Wild sockeye salmon, avocado, Japanese mint, kaiware, seared with creamy soy sauce Lovely. We also tried the chef's appetizers for the night which was good. You don't get to choose though, and I can't say seaweed salad is a favourite for either me or my friend. The prawns were yummy though. We had no idea what we were eating in the bowl. Maybe shredded pork? It was decent. The last thing we had the assorted sashimi which was really fresh. Service was fine but not friendly. I will come here again

I found the menu was a little limited if you were not in a steak mood. So yes shrimp on pasta was the meal even though I generally dont order pasta in restaurants. Apart from no chicken there was lots of little mistakes. I ordered a gin and tonic with light gin. But it did not come with the light gin just the others. And they did not seem to know who's food was this. Which lead to problems as when they came out with the shrimp on pasta dishes, I had forgotten thats what I ordered. But we were a large group so some amount of confusion is understandable. And there was still lots of good. They had a hugh selection of gins and tonics. I love that. Had two great ones of the dozens they had on the menu. The apitizers were great. Roasted beans, flat bread with a cheese topping and a third thing that disappeared fast. Everyone seemed to enjoy the meal, and we had 2 different people that had some struct dietary restrictions and they handled that well. So yes no one died thats a plus. All in all a great night

Ordering in the charcuterie box is definitely worth it as well for special occasions spent in! (Skip the dishes). The staff was welcoming and friendly when I visited dressed up for my birthday, however not so much when I was in my hiking boots walking down Whyte. There are only 2 things that need improvement: 1- Bring the burger back! It was amazing and we were sad to see it leave! We'd be back more often if you brought it back! 2- Education of the staff that Whyte is a tourist destination, and they should be treating customers equally, despite if they are in high heels, or hiking boots. lol

Menu was decent with a good selction of different things. Our server was OK but nothing to write home about. Also it was slow with the food coming out. We split the corn fritters with house made ketchup & house made jam. I chose the Kitchen Burger with a beef patty, aged cheddar, greens, tomato, red onion, garlic aioli on toasted burger bun. Everything was OK but not worth the amount we paid. The only thing that was standoutish was the corn fritters. They were lovely. Puffed golden and the dipping sauces were so yummy. Love the house made ketchup because it wasn't sweet. Burger and fries were decent but I have had much better for the same price. Probably won't go here again unless a friend really wants to try it.

That said, we were not disappointed. I ordered the feature tart with soup. It was not what I was expecting as a tart but it was okay. Definitely unique. The soup had lots of flavour. My partner ordered Sesame Chicken. It was certainly larger than my tart. I think it is a local favourite. She said that the chicken was a little dry, but otherwise good. The cafe was busy and at times loud but we were still usually able to converse. Parking is possible on the street. There is two-hour free parking in the residential area. Most dishes are $20.00 give or take $3.00. I give the Hub four out of five stars for unique dishes, good coffee and polite service. The prices are a bit high, but I would come back.

There's also an upstairs so I assume that more tables are up there. To start you queue up at the counter and pick your meat and put it bun. The sandwiches were delicious. The amount was just right. The bun is not huge so you won't be stuffed with bread. It can get messy because there's more fillings than bun but don't worry because there are three washrooms to wash your sticky fingers. Seriously I haven't enjoyed a new place in Edmonton this much in a long time. As for the location... Well eventually it might be okay. It's fine during the day. I highly recommend Patricia Street.
