They made me the wrong food, similar but different menu item. When I called to tell them, I was informed I had to ask for the menu item to be prepared the way it appears on the menu. If I don't order with the listed veggies then it won't be made with veggies. I asked - the rule doesn't apply to pizza. If you order a pizza then it still comes with sauce and cheese luckily. I think it's an issue of a prideful moron doing a poor job of depending himself. I don't care dude, I just want what I ordered. He offered to fix it after we were both raising our voices. Whenever I can I get jimmys. They have had great and consistent tasting food for years. I am a big cheese steak guy and Jimmy's has always been my favorite cheese steak. Pretty much obsess with the steak tip dinner, I never really order steak tip from a pizza shop cuz they usually give you tiny portions for a lot of money but this place is great with portions and it taste so good, I would recommend it. The food here is consistently good, and the service (ordering take out over the phone or at the counter) is always pleasant and efficient. Their pizza sauce is on the sweet side, which is not my favorite kind, but it's good enough that I keep coming back for more! The ingredients on pizzas, subs and salads are always fresh. I usually order a Greek salad along with whatever subs, pizza or dinners we are getting. The salads are always very watery, which is weird, but I appreciate that they're washing the lettuce! I was cooking something at my own house late one night (after Market Basket had closed for the night but years before Stop n Shop came to town) and I realized I didn't have the garlic I needed for my recipe. Since Jimmy's is right near my house I walked over and asked if they would sell me some garlic, realizing it was a very odd request and honestly expecting them to either say no, or if I was really lucky to sell me a garlic clove for a dollar. The young guy at the counter said "sure" and came back a few minutes later with a good quarter cup of minced garlic (they minced it, it was not from a jar) packaged in a plastic to-go container. No charge, even though at that time I was by no means a regular customer. Because of that neighborly niceness (and the good food) I am a very regular customer now. read more

If i could give 0 stars i would have. Over the years the service and quality of this restaurant have really decreased. However, today was my last straw. I made an online order for delivery and i was sent a confirmation email for my order with a total of $16.18 inclusive of 20% tip on my order. The delivery guy charged me an additional tip on my credit card without my consent even after i had repeatedly told him that the tip was already included in the total. I get another email receipt showing a total of $19.36. I proceeded to call the restaurant to rectify the extra charge but the manager wouldn't accept their mistake and proceeded to lie and say that there were extra charges for using a credit card and ordering sweet potato fries which was not disclosed beforehand. He then angrily told me that if i don't don't want the food at that price he would send the delivery guy back to take back the food. Strike One! Chicken Steak sub with onion and peppers repeated all day. The onions were charred. Strike 2! Steak and cheese with onion and mushroom. If I was blindfolded before this dish was put in front of me I would not have been able to tell you what I was eating. No redeeming value. Might want to try giving the place a nice cleaning and don't forget the mop boards. You can always tell how clean a place is by the mop boards and this place isn't. Service is awful.. I mean the worst. I'm sitting in this place while posting this review. I called and the guy says 10 minutes. How do you cook fries brown on out side yet still no crunch ? and mush Inside? Fisherman platter O.K over flowing no fries got onion rings and slaw . Slaw was good , onion rings plenty fully, but half were dark brown and half golden ? How do you manage that? Brown dripping grease, 2 pics. fish ,large flakes , except no taste ? I believe this is among the best pizza in Lowell. Our favorite is the white spinach, tomato and garlic, to go. Always cooked perfectly! Also recommend the chicken pesto wrap, greek salads, and cheese steaks. I only wish they'd open a location in downtown Lowell. read more

Their food is good for the most part, with the exception of their BBQ pizza which was inedible due to it being covered in sauce. The major issue this place has is their delivery times. I love love love the pizza here. I usually order a cheese with extra red sauce, garlic and spinach. It is seriously the best pizza I've ever had in my life. I went here and ordered a submarine sandwich and was shocked to see one layer of meat only. I thought about it and then I complained. The owner seemed shocked that I complained and told me that one layer of meat on a submarine sandwich is standard. I think not. He took the sub back and when he returned it to me, he had only bunched up the sole piece of ham and didnt add anything to it. He became very argumentative about it....It was a one sided argument because my response is to never come back and spread the word about the bad service. read more
