Wanted to love this place, it was just meh! The service was ok. I took mom for her birthday and shes a big Prime Rib gal so we tried this place. The menu was super limited, it was all ok. Nothing to rave about, would go back to just go but I wasnt wowed and with the amount of steak places in the area I need to be wowed!

First filet was all grizzle, this second filet was Raw.... Gross and I asked for medium !

First Filet was Grizzle and sent back . Second Filet was ordered medium and was Rare! I waited a long time for 2nd filet and hubby was done with his dinner. They did take my dinner off bill but ruined my one night out!!

One of my many return trips to Jimmy's, which has become my go-to for quality prime rib. Goodbye, Century House! We started with the special appetizer of yummy steak & cheese spring rolls with spicy ketchup. My 10oz prime rib was cooked a perfect medium and couldn't have been more tender. Fresh mixed veggies rounded out the meal. My friend had the baked stuffed shrimp and tips (well done) combo. Our garden salads were fresh and the blue cheese dressing is exceptional. Our server, Kim, was fabulous as well. I was briefly tempted by the nightly special lobster roll, but that's for another day.

Food excellent. I had clam chowder rice pilaf and stuffed shroud. All absolutely delicious. We had party of 9 and they were completely on top of everything. Waitresses 1st day and she was amazing. She was friendly, patient and so personable. Remembered our names and joked with us. She was precious and only added to the great experience!!!

I went here on 9/30/24 with a friend. My friend got surf & turf with scallops and I asked to do a surf & turf with baked scrod. Even though it wasn't on menu, the waitress said they could make anything surf & turf. Food was excellent and service was great. When we got the check I was charged for surf & turf with scallops. Now, scrod is much less expensive than scallops. When I questioned it, our server told us that was what her manager told her to do. I asked for manager to come over. Manager said that's what they do for the scrod. Again I said it's not scallops, scrod is much less expensive. She says that's what they do. I asked for the name of the general manager. However, the kitchen manager came over and said I got a full order of scrod, "What did you expect to pay for a full order". I did not get a full order, it was half. Also, how about you let myself or any customer know, they are getting charged for scallops. Managers were both rude, server was very nice. I'm just amazed by the whole experience and not in a good way. The fact that they feel justified in their pricing and treatment of patrons is rather disgusting. I won't be going back, they probably don't care and that is the biggest issue.

open on christmas eve, stopped in for dinner. kathy was our server and she was great. they offer ciabatta bread to start, and i started with the clam chowder. the chowder was pretty good, just a little bit thin. i ordered the french martini, but i believe i ended up with the eggnog martini? it was great but not peachy. great mystery drink! for my meal, i had the Surf and Turf broiled scallops and steak tips, medium rare. the steak tips were perfect, i'd definitely order them again. it was my first time trying breaded scallops and i wasn't a fan, and they could have used some garlic or something a little extra, but they were fresh and big. my friend ordered the Panko Crusted Chicken which was also great, as well as the asparagus. clam chowder: 4/5 broiled scallops: 3.5/5 steak tips: 5/5 panko chicken: 4.5/5 eggnog martini?: 5/5 overall everything was pretty delicious, wasn't the biggest fan of the scallops but they were a good size. very reasonably priced and great service for a holiday dinner. thank you for being open. ambiance: 4.5/5 food: 4.3/5 drink: 5/5 service: 5/5 jimmy's: 4.7/5

Disappointed with my Prime Rib. It was chewy instead of melting in my mouth!!! The service was great. Very nice setting inside.

I like Jimmy's. I never got a bad meal there. My favorite is sitting at the bar to eat. My favs are fish and fillet mignon.

The bartender was polite, our drinks were made quickly and we enjoyed them. Though there were 2 other parties at the bar eating full meals at right around 9, we opted not to order a second round of drinks because of the time. The bartender brought our check without asking if we wanted another round so it was pretty clear she wanted us gone. I went back last night to grab some food and another drink I had seen on the menu I liked the sound of. I was going to get a table but the bar wasn't busy, so I told hostess I'd sit at bar. I was sitting down as a bartender walked by. She never even looked at me, just walked to end of the bar and hung with a group of 4-5 people who were there. There was no eye contact, no hello, nothing. I had no desire to sit there after that, so I went to hostess said I had changed my mind and would like a table. Told her I could sit at a hightop in the bar as well. She said no, i'll get you a table. She led me to a table in the smaller room where there were no other people at all. A couple of tables away from me was a large table that looked like it sat either 6 or 8 people, that was totally a mess. I couldn't believe the table hadn't been cleared off and cleaned as soon as the guests had left. My table felt sticky too but I didn't see the others looked much better. Food-wise, the burger was cooked OK but as others said, it was nothing special. The french fries were like McDonalds, the thin kind. The waiter did as best he could, he was polite, but I think they may have been short-handed because I saw all different people delivering orders. It was very awkward being the ONLY person in a dining room instead of around other people. I couldn't wait to leave and when the waiter came to ask if I wanted dessert, I just asked him to bring the check. The drink I'd planned on getting was a dessert type martini and I had no interest in staying there to get it. I left him a decent tip because I felt he was trying, but overall, I felt somewhat discriminated against by where I was seated. My impression is that the staff for the most part, have no interest in being there. The restaurant now looks old and rundown, from when it first opened. I won't be going back.

The restaurant is one of the more modern decorated Vietnamese restaurants compared to traditional mom and pop's Vietnamese restaurants that I am used to. I appreciate the vietbamese street scene mural that they have going and I appreciate their effort and attention to detail. For appetizer, we ordered the Vietnamese fish sauce fried chicken wings. It was very good! This is a must! Sadly, they didn't have the betel leaves beef/pork skewer. I will have to come back another time. For entree, I ordered pho while my husband ordered the bun cha Ha Noi, and my kids shared the rice plate with pork chop and fried egg. My pho broth was very clear, and very light in flavor. It was very reminiscent of how my mother would make her pho, very subtle flavors and with wide pho rice noodles. Long's pho I would say is more akin to Northern Vietnamese pho so if you're looking for more salty and fragrant pho, this might not be for you. I love additional pickled vinegar garlic slices that are available at each table as well. I have never seen this at any Vietnamese restaurant in MA. The bun cha Ha Noi, the was good, but I would try something other next time. The rice plate we ordered had pork chops, fried eggs, and what was supposed to be pork skin, however, the pork skin was not up to standard so the owner replaced it with grilled chicken for us. Pork chops were a little over cooked. They are still very new. I think playing some music will help with the kitchen banter. Service was friendly and fast. Food came out at a very good pace. I feel like their drinks and appetizers menu might be the place to start if you're not adventurous. I will definitely be back to try more of their dishes. See my pictures!

Suzie, the event coordinator was extraordinary. From our first correspondence she was detailed, guided me through the process and had great suggestions to make the day special. I also have to mention our server Logan. Such a warm, friendly and professional presence a couple of us left an extra gratuity above the facility generated one. The only downside that Suzie tried to remedy, was an extremely loud kids BD party next to ours where the adults were not only rude they were obnoxious. The children seemed quite well behaved. There is also a small Park with green space & a children's play area right next to the Cows with Frog & Turtle Sratues. In 1961 on Rt. 1 in Saugus MA. Frank Guiffrida opened up a Western Style restaurant. The place was Huge. At its peak it served over 20,000 people a week. They even had their own to go Butcher Shop. At it's pinnacle the 20,000 square-foot 2 story restaurant served more than 2 million customers. It was one of the busiest restaurants in the whole USA. Patrons would wait in huge lines next to the cows for their number to be called. You were assigned a number & a room that you were going to dine in. Then they would announce your number & room over a loud speaker such as # 92 Kansas City. Then you'd enter the restaurant & go to your assigned designated table. The Hilltop was known for its large portions of high-quality food at low prices in its heyday especially their Steaks & Prime Rib. In later years though customers thought the food had gone hill. The restaurant finally closed after many decades in 2013. Many people were Heartbroken. They still have a Soft Spot for this restaurant - It was Part of their Lives. The cows were rescued & purchased by WS Development of Newton. The cow trio now graze just a few miles away at a new outdoor mall on Market St in the city of Lynnfield. They did an excellent job restoring the fiberglass cows but then they decided to paint them shiny colors & they look brand new. Although they did a great job restoring them the shiny paint most definitely takes away from the vintage feel. They should have restored them exactly like the originals. The History, Nostalgia & warm feeling has all been taken away with that shiny new paint job. If there wasn't a sign there, I would think they are some random new cows on display. Hopefully someone will realize their mistake & fix this issue & bring the Vintage Vibe & Retro Colors back to these Beloved Art pieces once again. These cool relics of the past were part of millions of people's lives. When they Restore them to the Origibal they'll definitely get a 5 Star from me. It used to be, you had to have Mega Bucks & be really Rich to have the Good Life, not anymore. The Game has changed. You've been Upgraded. Now You Can Live Like a King on a Limited Budget!
