Yeah, he was the lowest bidder. He pulled the engine out of my truck, and several weeks later, he hadn't done anything else. And several weeks after that, he still hadn't done anything. His game was obvious, yeah, he signed an estimate, but, no completion date. We had agreed to a short block rebuild, because I had seen under the valve covers and heads were pristine, and I said no work on the heads. But, I got charged for resurfacing the heads. I got charged triple for the towing, I know because I called the towing company and asked them how much they would charge for a tow that distance. He had my engine in it's basic parts, but, my water pump just went out. Obviously, he bolted my 100,000 mile water pump back into a rebuilt (supposedly) block. Nothing he does can be trusted. He builds race experimental engines and he fleeces the public when his hobby isn't paying enough. read more
