Pizza was good, maybe better for take out rather than " dine inside". It is a gas station for cryin out loud!

Good pizza, terrible customer service. Middle aged blonde lady needs to be nicer. Unpleasant experience.

I'd put them easily in the top 5 in Fayetteville and probably my favorite based on proximity to my house. Do you like a Ribeye? The N.A.T.O Grilled Ribeye is a beast of a sandwich that is worth the price. My wife sticks to one of the fried shrimp sandwiches because they are so good it doesn't make sense for her to change it up. You want a Ribeye but your kids want chicken tenders? They've got you covered. The tender baskets are massive! Burgers? Did I mention those? Got a picky kid that doesn't like cheese? Get the Royale w/ cheese with no cheese and it's the perfect size. Shout out to a shareable shrimp basket, excellent cold subs, a variety of hot subs including a great cheese steak and a riff on a french dip. Go to Mess Hall and go often. This is the kind of great, affordable, and consistent spot an area like east Fayetteville needs.

Our server arrived promptly gave us our menus and glasses of water. When she brought us the waters and asked if we were ready to order, we asked about drinks so she gave us a drinks menu. She took our food order and told us she would be back once she put our food order in to get our drink order. I guess she forgot to come back for our drink order as the next time we saw a server was when our food came out. We ended up sticking with water. When it comes to ambiance the restaurant is warm and inviting with music playing at about the right level. As for the food the cucumber salsa, was well chilled, freshly prepared and fairly tasty. The tortilla chips were fresh and crispy. My wife chose the Birdseed Salad with a Chicken Chili. My wife said the dressing was good but as for visual appeal it was green, on green, on green. The chicken chili was good, tasty and served good and hot. Moving onto my Club sandwich on a croissant, there was plenty of meat and the croissant was really fresh but pretty small. It was served with a large side of tortilla chips. The tortilla chips were plain and came without any dip, salsa or shake on's. Even a little hot sauce would have been welcome. Overall the food was good, fresh and well prepared, it just lacked any Wow Factor or anything to make it craveable or make me want to drive out of my way or make a special trip to eat there again.

The kind of sandwich that makes you say, "Yep, that's definitely a sandwich," and then immediately forget about it. At $15 for the sandwich alone, I was expecting something a little more memorable than edible. What really got me was the pricing. The employee taking my order never mentioned all the upcharges for sides and a drink. When the employee told me my total, my "quick sandwich lunch" was over the $20 mark. I audibly gasped and promptly (and kindly) told her I only wanted the sandwich. As she took off the side and drink, It crossed my head that for over $20 I should expected a waiter, a menu, and maybe someone asking if I'd like dessert. The atmosphere could also use a refresh. The place feels tired, outdated, and about as inviting as a doctor's office waiting room from 2007. As for the service, it seemed like every employee I encountered was determined not to break into a smile. No "How are you today?" No friendly conversation. No sense that anyone wanted to be there. The overall vibe was less "Welcome!" and more "My shift ends at 4." In the end, nothing was terrible, but nothing justified the price either. There are too many places serving better food, with friendlier service, for less money. This is one sandwich I won't be scheduling a reunion with.

I had studied an older menu on here when deciding where to eat, and had decided on the Euro Veggie. When I went in and ordered though she said they were out of sprouts. I took a look at the menu and panicked because it was different and it's a walk up to the counter and order place. There was no one behind me so I should have taken my time but I had told her when I walked up that it was my first visit in and she didn't say anything and then just stared impatiently at me as I reviewed the menu so I did feel rushed. I should have stuck with my first choice minus the sprouts but honestly they were what drew me to that sandwich so I switched to the Spinach & Basil Pesto instead. I don't order many sandwiches out because it's so easy to make a good one at home and I do eat meat but am usually drawn to a veggie or something that's different enough to make ordering a sandwich out worth it. The fresh pesto with tomato and cheese sounded good, but I did not notice in my haste to order that it was grilled. It's 103 degrees outside, thus my reason for wanting a sandwich, a cold one, in the first place. Strike one, but sorta my fault. Then the tomatoes were pale and flavorless and it's prime tomato season right now. Strike two. And the spinach & basil pesto only faintly hinted at any basil and it was in dire need of salt and some garlic or something to give it some flavor. Strike three. So I'm sure by now you got the point that I did not care for that sandwich at all. Moving on...the sandwich was served with a pickle, ruffles potato chips and an oatmeal cookie. The pickle was fine. Vlasic type. I would rather have a crisp kosher refrigerator pickle, and would serve that if it were my restaurant. So on to the chips. Ruffles? Seriously can they not spring for a better potato chip? There were other reviews on here with Boulder kettle chips so I guess I assumed there would be a choice. And the cookie. I think they are baked in house and I generally love oatmeal cookies but they need a new recipe. I had to take a few bites before I was even sure what kind of cookie it was so I guess I'll just leave that to tell you how unimpressive it was. So yeah. All in all a very boring, lackluster lunch from a place where I just felt nobody cared. I make a point of supporting small businesses because I have had them myself and I know how hard it is. But someone could have run to the store for a package or two of sprouts. She told me the shipment wouldn't be in until tomorrow so it was a conscious recession to go without. Maybe my sandwich would have been amazing and enough to overlook the pickle, chips and cookie. Probably not, because the same management that went without sprouts, serve awful tomatoes during tomato season and are ok with that lousy pesto are also making the Euro Veggie sandwich decisions. Unfortunately nothing in the place stood out to me and the food wasn't up to par. Oh, and I did buy a loaf of sourdough on my way out, because I have gorgeous farm stand tomatoes and basil from my mother-in-law at home. If home had been close enough for lunch that's where I woulda had my sandwich. If the bread is anything to write home about I will update this review!
