Excellent Pub, good food good prices and great service... Defiantly our new favorite haunt

Good food! I like their clubhouse sandwich the best. Good food and drink specials as well. Waitress and service are good as well.

ok service as to be expected from a pub but the 1 star is a reflection of the burger they served. open face burger, the patty was so dry it was like chewing on a rubber shoe. being it an open faced burger I could not believe the server would even bring it to the table if he had any respect for the establishment or took any pride in his job read more

I used to enjoy coming in for wine Wednesdays once in a while but after tonight I can almost garuntee I won't be back....there was a large group but that seemed to mean don't pay any attention, take orders or deliver orders....i had to ask 4 times to get my drink delivered, to two different waitresses...in over a 30 minute period..it's a good thing they finally brought that since almost an hour since our 5 generic burger orders had gone in and only 2 came out after 40 minutes....burnt...who can manage to mess up the pre made patty special....2 more finally came along, they were incorrect orders...the third came while those two got sent back. When they finally arrived over an hour later, the fries were hot...that counts as a compliment right.... When you're hosting large parties st usually best to step up because there's good money making potential there! I can garuntee that didn't happen tonight. We did our part in bringing in our group to support your business but unfortunately the service dictated that it'll be the last. 2 stars because at least I was with good people... read more

10 years ago I met my partner on a blind date at your pub and last night we went back to celebrate our anniversary and he proposed! My fiancé talked to them a few days in advance so some of the staff were in on the surprise and the fellow who was playing there even played a song for us at our table. Such a fun evening. Thank you to the management and staff at Jimmy Mac's Pub. Your drinks and food are excellent, your staff are both friendly and helpful and your clientele a nice mix of people. We live in Ft. Langley and used to frequent the pub as it is closer and would like to suppport a local business, the food has gotten so bad we stopped going and ventured out to Jimy Macs. We now frequent it very often, a couple of times a week and find the food and staff to be fabulous. Where can you get a bacon wrapped tenderloin steak cooked to perfection, fully loaded baked potato and fresh veggies for $13. We took friends with us last week and they were pleasantly surprised. I got roped into signing up for the in-house football pool. Having entered the previous year and doing well I was excited to enter again and this time invite a few friends to enjoy my experience. The fee turned out to be an extra $25 but I felt it was worth it and felt I brought good business to the bar inviting 3 other friends at $125 a pop. Last football season I was there religiously for Sunday breakfast and got to know some of the patrons and staff. So I figured take advantage of their football club specials with my friends and continue the experience. That's where it went downhill. I saw one of the staff and mentioned i had rejoined the pool. he seemed very disinterested and annoyed. Maybe a bad day? I don't know, but you figured if I just pooled together $500 to join this pool you figured there would be some enthusiasm. I was there the first Sunday. Brought my buddies with me. We were going to be a committed group and take advantage of all the additional benefits of joining this pool and meet every Sunday's and Thursday's. Since they had the ticket this was excellent for me to watch my favorite team and follow them for the season. Here's a big word of advice: Don't ask them to change it to the game you want to watch. Despite only taking a minute of their time, this seems to aggravate them. Great start to this experience. Even my buddies were thinking what the heck was that all about? We all ordered the breakfast. It was cheap and satisfying. Just a traditional breakfast of eggs, hash browns, sausage, and toast. Like you'd find at any other pub. Next thing you know my game was switched. I asked if they would change it back and they said yes, but never came back. Realizing that they weren't going to change it back to my game I looked around the bar to find another TV. The only other TV was at the other end of the bar at a very uncomfortable spot. I left my friends to watch at this table by myself for the rest of the game. What I did notice that the regulars seem to get their way around the bar. Needless to say I will not be returning with my friends for the remainder of the football season. We'll be taking our football club to Jack's pub where they have the NFL ticket as well. To sum it up, as what seems to be the general review, this bar takes care of their regulars and the drinkers. Blech. Margehrita pizza was store brand frozen. The fake shredded cheese never melted. Quesadilla had wrong filing. Server never came back to check on our meals. And it wasn't busy. If you go, stick to the beer. read more
