I randomly googled threading salons in Santa Clara and came across Jinder Threading and decided to come here because it's down the street from my work. I came straight from work at 1:30 pm on a Friday and got my eyebrows threaded by Seema? (Not sure if I spelled her name correctly I apologize!) she was soft spoken and so sweet! Asked how my day was!!! There was only one person in there finishing up so I finished in like 12 minutes. She even gave me a temple massage with my aloe Vera application. Really really liked my experience here. I found my new eyebrow spot! Loved my eyebrows, great service, no wait, and great location. And my eyebrows were only 10 Dollars! Not worth the Groupon. I've been here twice and have been cut both times. And yes, I mentioned the injuries from my first visit to her when I idiotically came back for more punishment. Both of my eyelids have scabs now... and she cut the side of my lip as well. Amazing how dangerous a piece of cotton thread can be. They can keep that 3rd Groupon visit. Yikes!!! Would do 0 stars if I could , They asked if I wanted thin thick or medium I said just a clean up on my original shape . Came out with thinned out eye brows uneven can't even be fixed with a brow pencil , cut off ends . One straight one arched looking nothing like my original eyebrows . So upset would have been better off doing myself would not recommend read more

I went for the first time today and Jinder the owner was very polite and when I was telling her how I wanted to let my eye brows grow to reshape them she was extra nice explaining how she was going to let a bit of hairs grow in certain areas. STAY AWAY, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED !!! wow I don't even know where to start but let's begin with IVE NEVER HAD SUCH A TRAUMATIZING EXPERIENCE BEFORE at a threading place!! I've been threading my eyebrows for over five years now, been to numerous threading places and this place is the absolute worst! tbh, I'm never the picky type with my eyebrows since I wear makeup and color/shape them in. I thread my brows every 2-3 weeks and never ever complained before. In fact, this is my very first Yelp review. Walking in on a Friday, the day before a long weekend (Labor day weekend), the store was empty. Ugh stupid me, that should've been my first sign to get outta there! I sat down, and she asks me if I want thin or thick. I responded medium definitely not thin. She starts to do my right eyebrow and suddenly I feel a sharp pain on my LEFT EYELID almost as if a scissor just nipped off a chunk of my skin. I screamed, she stopped and what do I know, there's a cut on my left eyelid.. She stood there and goes, not me, I don't have anything on my hand. LIKE WHO ELSE COULDVE DONE THIS THEN?!!?! srsly???! by that time, my eye was already wet with tears because of the pain. Without a even sorry, she just stared at me and gestured me to lay back and continue.. and so I did (stupid me again for not running out that door!) .. When it's all finished, she hands me the mirror, and OF COURSE it's pencil thin like prev reviews said. I asked her "done? are you going to trim it?" and she goes "no its fine"........ UHHHH Let's just say, this is the first time a threading place that didn't trim my hair. Uh okay whatever, moving on. I proceed to pay. I showed her the Groupon and asked, "am I going to be compensated at all for you cutting my eyelid?" and she looks at me, smiled and flat out said "no". Yup. that's it. Honestly I was really expecting her to be a little more apologetic about cutting me but nope, not even a tiny gesture, so yup, 0 star for customer service. i purchased a Groupon to get 3 eyebrow threading but after this, I would rather let my money go to waste than to ever go through this again. if you all are wondering who did this to me, i think there's only one person working here, and there's a picture of her in the photos posted. SO THERE YOU GO GUYS! if you got a Groupon deal like I did, I strongly suggest you to call Groupon to refund you credit for it. Who knew a mere 10 minutes could leave me a cut, uneven brows, and emotionally scarred (i guess physically too in this case).
