And I ordered a Bento box and it came with pot stickers and they were over cooked so I request a fresh ones and we stood watching Bryan texting the whole time didn't wash his hands and then grabbed some pot stickers with dirty hands while texting. That is a health hazard and disgusting. I'm praying that I don't get sick from bacteria from his dirty phone. We do not know how someone being so unprofessional touching food with dirty hands. The "Tastes Like Chicken" roll with crab was absolutely amazing. The fish was incredibly fresh, and every flavor was perfectly balanced. I really appreciated that it wasn't drowned in sauce--everything complemented the roll instead of overpowering it. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients. Enjoy the food and appreciate the staff. This spot is off Pioneer on the East side of town. They can get pretty busy, and we have had trouble with getting orders on those days (typically holidays). Aside from that experience, we have had great service for dine in and to go orders. Intimate seating and ambiance is sushi bar style. Limited seating but worth dining in if not too busy. This restaurant is tiny. Bar seating of maybe 10 people and five or so tables for four people each. Sometimes there can be a wait but we've been lucky about getting tables. If you are someone requiring gluten free dishes, they can accommodate but they don't carry gluten free soy sauce, so be sure to ask about how things are prepared. The service is hit or miss. Sometimes we have a great server who is really attentive, and sometimes we have a server who doesn't get orders right, never checks on us, and says they'll bring what we requested yet never does it. That very same server will also leave items on the bill that they put in for order but then found out that it was out, so check your bill. From what I can tell, there are usually two servers working at a time, so like I said, likely hit or miss on attentive server. The food itself is great! If you sit at the bar you can even converse with the chefs and they'll make custom rolls. We usually enjoy the food... we go frequently. If you're looking for nice sushi that isn't overly sauced, it's a great place! read more

Jinju sushi is an awesome little unsuspecting spot in Woodland. We sat at the counter and service was very quick and attentive. The food here is very fresh. Their menu boards showed they were out on a lot of stuff but they actually had it available when you asked them. The restaurant was very clean. I highly recommend them for sushi on this side of town. The Toro was the highlight of the visit. It was a great deal. They do add a modern twist on the hand rolls which I wasn't the biggest fan of. Nonetheless, it was a great spot. read more

We used to love this restaurant, but their service has gone way downhill. The last time we went, we had to walk out after being sat and then waiting for 30 minutes and watching the staff joke and banter with each other and completely ignore us. They never came and took our order. It was 530 pm and only 2 other people were in the restaurant and already had their food, so it's not like they were busy. We will never come back. The food is way to expensive to have such horrible service. I'd give them zero stars if I could. read more

Everything we ordered was served quickly, piping hot, and made with fresh ingredients. Probably the best udon that I have had in a really long time. The broth itself was flavorful and delicious. Lunch date with my husband to day and tried Jinju Sushi. The food was good. We shared a couple rolls, tempura and nigiri YUM! Everything was fresh and beautiful. The staff was nice at first and gave a a few minutes to look over the menu (it was our first time here) but then started to get a little pushy wanting our order . Menu is QR code or they will give you a paper print out if you ask. Price was average, we all know sushi isn't cheap. The place is small but set up nice. Bar seating or the bench/table seating along the back wall. My only complaint is how dirty the seats and floor were. You would only have to pull the little table out wipe the seats and mop but it looks like it hasn't been done in a long time. Jinju is by far the best sushi spot in Woodland. Granted, there's not much competition, but even compared with the greater California standards this little restaurant holds its own. The seafood is always super fresh, the fish portions are generous in their maki rolls, and the price is reasonable (though not cheap). We've ordered out many times and eaten in a few as well, and we've never been disappointed. The only complaint I have is it's actually really hard to find salmon on their menu of rolls, but otherwise their options are creative and delicious. 4 stars only because I've been really spoiled with sushi, so 5 stars means I'm truly blown away. This isn't life changing, but it is a solid, reliably yummy gem. read more

Our server seemed to be frustrated that we were having trouble with the QR code for the menu and asked for paper. Then even rolled her eyes when we didn't seem to order fast enough. My calamari was tough, my son's spider roll was bland but the pot stickers were good. The atmosphere was clean and the gentleman that took over was nice enough but we will not be returning. Popular sushi spot in a Woodland shopping center. Small space with table and counter seating that filled up shortly after we arrived. The selection of specialty rolls required a lot of consideration, as they all sounded fantastic. We couldn't decide. Started with calamari and spicy edamame. The edamame was excellent, not over heated to make the beans mushy. The spicy was just right. The calamari was odd and over cooked. I wouldn't recommend. There are a few beers on tap. We started with a sale bomb but clearly it's not something they serve often as it was served with coors light and hot sake on the side. For $2.50, it was fine. The gummiworm IPA was excellent paired with with the fish. I had the nigiri and sashimi combo. Nice box that was super filling. Side dish provided with ginger and wasabi, and cup for soy sauce. Server was hustling. Would definitely like to visit again to try more rolls. Two of us are vegetarian and they loved the vegetarian roll and greenhouse roll. Almost ordered another to go for later, but they were too busy. We would have had to wait 20 mins and we were almost done with our meal. Get here early for dine in or order with plenty of advance. The rolls are always delicious, and with only a few exceptions, our orders are prompt and without errors.
