Solid spot for large sushi rolls and yummy Viet coffee! We ordered the Dragon, Davis, and Y2K rolls. The rolls are quite large and great to taste. Price is reasonable considering the size. The service is good and there's plenty of seating.

this is my favorite matcha spot in davis! i've tried the banana matcha and the biscoff matcha and they are so amazing!!! the pudding in both are so yummy and for the size you get it is so worth the price!! i would recommend anti monday to anyone who loves matcha!!!

We ordered white night, thunder roll, and Davis roll. All amazing options!! I would recommend Davis Roll over everything because it was so much for such a good price. We were served quickly and everyone was very nice. The restaurant had a nice vibe to it with good seating.

Stopped in here for some matcha drinks. It's a little kiosk inside Davis Sushi. As soon as I walked in on a Saturday afternoon, there was a line at the kiosk to order drinks. Everyone seemed to be there just for their drinks. I tried the matcha with banana pudding. Also tried the matcha with mango. Both were really good. I really enjoyed the banana pudding. I Waited a bit for our drinks. Plenty of parking. Staff were friendly

A small, hole-in-the-wall restaurant that specializes in takeout sushi options. I opted to dine in and order the Chicken Katsu-don, costing me $16.99. The dish is made up of the curry, a fried, chicken cutlet, and a bed of white rice. While there was nothing necessarily wrong with the quality of my dish, nothing in particular made it stand out. The curry wasn't exactly too flavorful, but the chicken cutlet was breaded quite well. For its price point, I expected either a larger portion size or better quality of food, as you could find better quality chicken katsu curry at a similar, or even cheaper price point within Davis. It took around 15-20 minutes for my dish to come out, although the service was friendly throughout my entire visit. The greatest highlight of my experience were the desserts/drinks that are created on a daily basis, in-house. The strawberry matcha was quite overpowering, as you could taste more of the strawberry bits as opposed to the matcha. The vietnamese coffee was extremely delicious, as it was sweet, yet not overbearing! The real star of the show was the banana pudding, at a perfect balance of sweetness, consistency, and price! I got the banana pudding for $5, making it an incredible, gourmet dessert!

This is our first trip here, but not our last. We ordered a dragon roll (it was huge), unagi nigiri (4 pieces in an order), and a deluxe maki. Everything was very fresh! The rice on the roll was perfect and the fish was very fresh! It was a Saturday night at 8:30 and no one was here. Many people came in to order the boba teas (in and out). The service was good. You order and pay at the counter. The ambiance is very casual. I'm going to rate this sushi restaurant one of the best I've had in Davis, seriously. I highly recommend.

Finally got to try Anti-Monday for the first time AND on a Monday :P Imma be honest we did struggle to find where it was. Google Maps and Apple Maps were no help and we had to resort to TikTok to find out where it was. We didn't know it was inside of the Davis Sushi! That aside 5/5, my partner and I both enjoyed our drinks and will keep coming back to make our way down the menu. We're also excited to try out the food. Service was nice and fast. Would definitely recommend.

This is the best matcha place in davis. The owners are always so welcoming and friendly. It's made fast and perfect everytime. I come here often and I've never been disappointed. They also have little games you can play while you wait.

I watched to check out Antimonday after seeing a post about their Biscoff banana pudding matcha. The kiosk is inside a sushi restaurant. They have a good variety of drinks! They have options for milk alternatives (almond, oat) as well which are $1 extra. I also wanted to order sushi but I could hear the line picking up behind me and only noticed matcha and desserts available to order on the kiosk. I waited a bit for my drink but totally understandable because I think there's only 1-2 ppl behind the counter making drinks. There were also 5 people ahead of me at the time. Anyways, this is the best matcha I've had in awhile!!!! The banana pudding on top is delicious I 10/10 recommend. I will definitely come back and try other matcha flavors and sushi.

hands down the BEST matcha in Davis! The owners are super sweet too and remember their regulars. They always remember that I personally ask for Cocoa Puffs. Super friendly service and the best drinks !!!

    Alaskan Roll

Smells kinda funky in here but you get used to it. Lighting isn't great and there's football in the background so not the best ambiance. They have takeout options tho! The food is really good, really good portion and great price. I got the white knight roll because I love tobiko and california rolls, it was super good. I would come back again and again just for that. Alaska roll was pretty good too, there's a lot of veggies and the sushi rice tastes great. It was rolled a little sloppily but the taste is what matters. The rolls were not the most uniform and some were a little thin but it wasn't bad for the price. Chirashi bowl was huge and had some sweet pickled things in there but was very pleasant overall. Came with a sweet sesame oil which was unique. Nigiri pieces were satisfying as well, nothing to complain about. However, my mom and I immediately tasted a bit of funkiness in the galbi + apparently last time my family came here it was burnt, but we were refunded for it this time. I have never had galbi meat that tasted off/had a strange aftertaste so it worried me. The biggest issue was that even though the restaurant was empty, we ordered around 1:15 and our food came at 1:50. It didn't come all at once either, we got the last item at 2:00. So in between we were starved and just splitting everything. There were like two people serving and making the food (we watched 4-5 Doordash orders come in while we were there too), so they were definitely maxed out. I don't want to trash this place at all, the people here were extremely nice and hardworking and I want them to have good business. I just wish they had more hands. I highly recommend coming here to try the fresh fish and support a (seemingly family-run) business :)

    Kimchi Fried Rice

Great service! I dropped my anti-monday matcha by accident in the restaurant and the guy cleaned it up so fast, and gave me a new one! The matcha is really good, on the sweeter side for sure. The kimchi fried rice was nice since davis had a lack of korean food. Nice place with good food and good owners/service

I sat at the sushi bar. It took quite a long time for someone to come over and take my order. And it also took a little while for my sushi and sashimis to come out. One thing that grosses me out a little bit is that my soy sauce dish is oily. But I can't wave anyone down so I used it anyways.. The sashimis are fresh. And they give really big pieces too so it is great value. The Madai sashimi still have scales on them tho that was a little surprising in texture. The nigiris are in massive pieces. Which again I appreciate the value. However, the uni was visibly dark in color in some piece. I thought it might be a regional character (cuz uni from different place can have different colors). But upon first bite it tasted a little stinky which is not how it's supposed to taste. To be honest, I would rather have less uni and smaller nigiri if I can just have fresh fish. When eating raw fish freshness is a huge priority. This dinning experience too way longer than expected. And I'm very disappointed in the freshness of an expensive ingredient. I do hope they improve and succeed as it's been in Davis for so long.

There were only one other couple in this section. When I go to a new sushi place I always get the Chirashi Sushi so I can see how the fresh sushi is and I like that selection. It was a lot, almost 44 bucks which is expensive for that dish. Plus I wasn't really that hungry. I didn't know when I would be back in the area so I just went for it. The wife decided on a Bento box with two items. the Tonkatsu and the Agedashi tofu. This place has one of those delivery robots from Japan and it was neat to see it bring the food to people. Here you don't grab it yourself like other places. The server grabs it and puts it on your table in front of you. It has a melody playing the entire time to let you know it's coming out. When my Chirashi came out , it looked amazing. It sure was extra and thus the price. It was 16 pieces of sushi and 2 pieces Tamago or egg. The Amaebi or raw shrimp came with a fried shrimp head on top and then the shrimp on the bottom. Really excellent presentation. They really thought about it. They even had the real Wasabi, which is the only one I eat. The little touches were appreciated. It was a lot of sushi Now my wife's Bento box was thoughtful too. It was a lot of food. It came with a fried pepper stuffed with crab. Something that I have never seem. It was spicy and the wife couldn't eat it. I was too stuffed with my food to taste it. In the corner of the box had pickled Vegis which don't often come in the box. Plus they had like a yam or sweet potato dip with I think Taro chips. Unique but the chips were stale. Still very thoughtful plating of a Bento box. If I am in town again I will definitely hit this place up again. I liked it a lot. The service was great too.

Sunset Roll, perfect combination of flavors. Fresh Fish, amazing soft sheet crab, not too saucy. Overall, best roll there.

The omakase felt really thoughtful from start to finish, with each course carefully paced and beautifully presented. You can tell the chef puts a lot of intention into every bite. Some pieces were simple and clean, while others had unique touches that made them stand out without being overpowering.
