We called today to inquire about booking, and the person who answered our call was very unwelcoming. They immediately informed us that they were booked through January, but just for future reference, we wanted to ask a few questions about their facility. Perhaps we would revisit in February or during our other travel dates, so thought it was appropriate to still ask. The person we spoke to was very short with her responses, unwelcoming, and we got the impression that she did not want to speak with us. It's unfortunate that we had this experience, as we live very closeby and had read many great reviews. Your website invites potential customers to call/contact regarding boarding and other services, but that was not at all the impression we got today. We were able to book with another facility in New Braunfels that worked with us, and even took a little extra time to find a spot for our 2 doodles. Maybe you will have a different experience than we did, but we will not be calling back. read more

The kennels are spotless and they take such good care of our baby girl.She is extra special to us and they treat her that way too. Don't bother calling them. They are so small they are no longer accepting new customers. Their website is outdated and should reflect that they aren't accepting new customers and should take down their reservation form all together. I'm a web developer and I could update the site in about 3 hours. Reviews on here date back to 08/2023 with the same complaint that they aren't accepting new customers. Best pet resort for my fur family members! My dogs are always so excited to go visit! The indoor outdoor runs are perfect! They keep it so clean there that my dogs come home smelling like they just had a bath! This is my favorite boarding place for my fur babies I was worried the first time I brought them but on arrival I saw a dog pulling so hard to get in, I decided that was my sign not to worry! Elise keeps the place so clean and they are on top of the residents having their vaccinations up to date so I feel it is a safe place for my fur babies when I have to go with out them. They take reservations 6 months ahead so if I know I am going and don't get to bring the fur babies I call immediately to make sure there is a place for them and I don't have to worry if they are safe! read more

We have been leaving our fur baby with Elise and her family at Jin's Bed & Biscuit for 3-4 years now. The is the best pet care in town, as far as we are concerned. Ms Lexi gets very excited as we pull into the driveway each time we go and she is always happy when we pick her up. She needs special food , treats and mediation and they take very good care of her. We can't imagine leaving her anywhere else. You better book early though because we are not the only ones that feel this way...lol read more

We have a 1 year old Pharoah Hound mix and a 4 month old Labradane who have never been boarded. We went to Jin's to tour the facility and made our decision to use their services. This place is great! The first thing is the grounds are maintained and welcoming. The lobby is comfortable and Elise is just wonderful. We were able to see the area where our dogs would stay (together). Other places wanted to separate them due to size difference. This would have made their stay that much more difficult. When you walk into the boarding areas you notice there is no smell. No ammonia or disinfectant, no doggy or waste smells. The place is immaculately clean. Elise has runs that are open to the outside so the dogs have some feeling of "freedom". They are let out 5 times a day and given a lot of personal attention. My dogs were very happy to come home, but I'm pretty sure they were very happy to stay at Jin's Bed and Biscuit's! We will definitely use their services again. read more

We have a boxer that is extremely known for anxiety and have recently moved to the New Braunfels area. We have needed a home away from home for our fur baby. After trying a vet clinic and a horrible out come for our first boarding service ever, we were so GREATFUL for the referral to Jin's!!!!! Let me just start by..... the love this place has (family ran) from the moment you are greeted at the front door! It's country feel, loving environment, open spacing, large play area (cats), large runs for all size dogs (ours is close to 80 lbs) and the over all IMMACULATE facility!!!! I had any and all questions answered, my concerns of his health (do to anxiety) were answered with complete attention, kindness, and reassurance!!!!! I was offered the opportunity to walk back with him to make sure he was ok, to see exactly what the conditions are like, beding that's provided, ect. When I walked back to the front I knew in my heart that he would be taken care of as if he was there own!!! Upon arrival, I was greated with the same love and kindness. Tripp was brought up to the front, with his belongings (as we provided our own food) while I was taken care of payment. He was so energetic, loving on the ladies that I honestly felt he didn't know we were there to pick him up!!!!! Your animals are loaded and loved on one more time by Elise before leaving. Again, thank you for your outstanding love and home away from home! We have boarded our rambunctious German Shepherd several times now. She is always excited to go inside and see Elise, and she is very happy and content when we pick her up. Elisa, the owner is always present and knows exactly what is going on with our dog. When we first toured the facility, we were even able to go back into the boarding section, not all facilities allow you to see where the dogs will board. I Immediately liked this boarding set up, as the dogs always have access to an outdoor private potty. They can come and go as they please to their personal outdoor section. The dogs are always kept separated so you don't have to worry about "fiesty" dogs. The facility is always clean, and the lobby looks like a hotel, with yummy treats for dogs and humans. Elisa is wonderful and very hands on in her business, which is refreshing to see. She even helps me out to my car when I'm trying to wrangle my crazy dog and carry out her doggy bed. We will continue to use Jin's bed and biscuit in the future. read more

Cleanest kennel I have ever been too. Gin greeted us at our car. Very professional from the moment you arrive. All the employees are very well experienced with the animals. Posted pic and video of our Fraulein on FB for us. She was very happy. Everyone here has a smile on their face!!! When we picked up Fraulein she was freshly bathed and had the cutest bandana on. Was so scared to leave my babies for the first time, but this place was wonderful. Facility was so clean and staff very accommodating.

We have a 15 year old Border Collie and a 9 year old Chihuahua. Our chihuahua is not the typical personality as he is timid, not aggressive to strangers and doesn't bark. Our Border is amazing but getting up there in age. I struggle with boarding them due to health and age. I investigated different facilities and when I went by Jin's to see the facility and talk to the owner Elise I felt very confident that this is the place for my dogs. The facility is hands down the most state of the art facility. It had no bad pet aroma and extremely clean. The kennels are climate controlled and have a run that the dogs can go in and out as they please to the outside or inside. They are not trapped without the option to go potty. The staff was very welcoming and very accommodating. We picked up our dogs this morning after a long weekend and they were happy not stressed by being away from us. Definitely will us Elise again to take care of our pets (kids). read more

We have been using Jin's for many years. When we first started boarding, they were way out on Purgatory Rd and owned by a different family. We met Elise, now the owner, when she worked at the original location. The newer location on SH 46 looks great. One of the first things that struck me was how clean it looked and smelled when I stopped in to check it out. Elise took me on a tour, and everything looked good and smelled clean. We just recently boarded our Doberman for a few days, and all went very well. I was impressed at the level of customer service, the overall condition of the facility and the most important thing.....how they took care of our dog. If you are looking for the best facility in the New Braunfels area, then look no further than Jin's. I would recommend without hesitation, and to be honest....I'm kind of picky and not easily impressed. Go ahead and book with them. You won't be disappointed! read more

We have been customers from the time Jin's was on Purgatory Road. We have found Jin's to be great in every way. The most important way, however, is how our dog Rudder feels about going there. He is always happy to go and in great shape when we pick him up. Jin's is accommodating to any adjustments such as changing the pickup date or getting a bath before pickup. Called me a liar....!!!!! We've been a loyal customer of Jin's for more than 15 years. Have always before gotten good service. Apparently, Jin's has gotten to where their business is so good they do not have to take care of older loyal customers. Most recently we boarded our dog at Jin's and for some reason they actually went out of their way to be unaccommodating, rude and argumentative. We asked for absolutely nothing special, only for one advertised service. They advertise that Sunday pick-up is allowed by prearrangement. We prearranged for Sunday pick-up, but when we got there were told that they do not allow Sunday pick-up (even though it says right on their gate that Sunday pick-up is available). When I questioned the "new" policy, I was told that it has always been their policy. Then I pointed out the sign on the gate at their entrance as well as the fact that we were told at the time of the reservation that we could do Sunday pick-up, at which point I was called a liar. Blatantly called a liar by one of the owners. I do not understand why we were suddenly treated so badly by these people when we've had such a good relationship in the past. I guess they have out grown us common folks. Needless to say, we will never go back to Jin's and I would not recommend Jin's to anyone. read more

Without question, Freddy had a great time, he was so happy - his tail was wagging from the time we dropped him off till we picked him up. I'm new here in new braunfels and had to find a boarding facility for my dog. I was so fortunate to get a recommendation from my vet. Scarlett just spent two nights there and I did not worry once. It is spotless and each dog has their own indoor and outdoor spot. Elise is wonderful and you just know your pet is in great hands. The front office receptionist is super welcoming too. No more!!! This business is so difficult to deal with due to their policies. Each time I have dealt with them I have had to leave my dogs there 2 extra days due to their strange operating hours. They are over priced. While it is a good facility, Marcy is border line rude because they have so much business they don't have to be the least bit accommodating. Way to many money grab policies and weird operating hours that are not accommodating for persons with normal working hours. The only boarding facility I have used that has additional high charge for picking up pets on Sunday. Working people pick their pets up on Sunday as they are back at work on Monday and should not have to pay additional penalty to do so. Also don't bother asking if your $50 required deposit can be transferred to a different stay even if you call 3 weeks ahead. I received a return call from owner in regards to that question and was told 'Absolutely not that's the policy' and I should find a different facility. Awesome! Jin's really needs some competition in NB. Hope it's forthcoming. read more
