I was hoping to find a decent Chinese place in this area, which seems challenging. I got shrimp fried rice, eggroll, and hot and sour soup. The eggroll was just cabbage. There's nothing else in there. The hot and sour soup was horrible and the rice was super greasy when I poured it out into a bowl. Won't be back. read more

My kids and I had such a craving for their food, but apparently they are closed until next week. When we walked in they were mopping a large puddle of water on the floor, but they still had warm smiles for us, and the lady remembered I was the one who loves the crunchy noodles. : ) That meant a lot to me. We went to another Chinese restaurant in the meantime, and it just made us realize even more how fresh, delicious, and savory the food is at Jin's Chop Suey. There's no comparison, in fact. I LOVE their Mongolian beef, but between my kids and I, we have tried several of their dishes, and they are all absolutely delicious. The prices are reasonable and the portions are beyond satisfying. The service is excellent and I have the feeling that they truly value their customers. I highly recommend this Jin's Chop Suey. It's a gem. read more

Chicken teriyaki was burned and dried out. Couldn't even doctor it up to make it edible. Chicken wings were tasteless and over done. Fried rice was ok, but ive had better at panda express. I admit I didn't pay attention to the alleged sign posted about a 3% charge if you use your debit card, after informing me of charge I was reminded the restaurant has been in business for 15 yrs and she remembers me I came in before. she hung up in my face. We order the same thing every time, we eat takeout from here monthly. It's a small restaurant in a strip mall, they have about 3 tables inside, so more of a ToGo restaurant. Mongolian beef, sweet and sour chicken and combination fried rice. It is very good. The beef is very good quality. read more

Love love this place ! The food is always hot and fresh they have incredible lunch combos Monday through Saturday and quite possibly the best chicken wings ever. I would give them five stars but they take a very long time. They will tell you to pick up your food in 25 minutes and it will take at least 45. I was craving Chinese - again - but needed to find a place that had Salt and Pepper Shrimp (prawn) since it's my favorite dish. Luckily Jin's has it (#85)! I also ordered Chinese Vegetables with Black Mushroom (#146) and Crab Rangoon (#2). Verdict: - Crab Rangoon: Large, but just okay. There was a lot more wonton wrapper than filling. Flavor was mostly cream cheese. 3/5 + Prawns: plentiful, but salty! I asked them to not use MSG, so I hope they listened. phew, I'm thirsty! 3.5/5 + Veggies with mushroom: I wanted something with veggies, and I should have known the mushrooms really wouldn't be fresh. I do like that the sauce was very light. 3.5/5 The rice was moist and fluffy, which was great since I was so hungry for rice. Service: After I placed my phone order, I called them back about the MSG. I tried 5 times, and each time it went to voicemail. ?! The 6th time was the charm. Their preteen also rung out my order.. (sorry, I hate when kids run the front of the house). There was so much I will have either or lunch on leftovers My husband got the Sesamé Chicken with Fried Ice and Egg Roll. He said it was really good. He could not eat it all so won't have to cook dinner one night. We will definitely be ordering more lunches/dinners from them. read more

So i have been a long time customer after tonight I will never order again! First off when i ordered the owner lady rushed me threw my order. ( I always order the same items) after waiting a hour in a half for my order I called to check on my order the owner lady picked up phone and said order on way and hung up on me! Then finally received my order and all of my items were ice cold and no fried rice or white rice no rice at all!! I called them Resterant in rage and owner told me sorry they were very busy tonight and that's it didnt order rice!! Omg how do u eat chinese food with no rice!!! I particularly remember this Chinese spot from many years back when i went to cosmetology school nearby. All the girls would go here for lunch, i never went, but i remembered a kind story about them. One of the girls who was a regular at Jins ordered food and then realized she forgot her lunch money. Jins was kind enough to give her the food anyway and told her to pay them for it next time. I dont know many places that would do this, it was endearing to see an act of kindness and trust. So today i was having a lazy Sunday and wanted Chinese takeout and remembered Jins. I ordered a feast, which consists of crab rangoon, shrimp fried rice, orange chichen, beef curry, hot and sour soup, pad thai. There portions were nice, the meat servings were generous, and i am totally stuffed! The food was really good, the fried rice was my favorite out of everything. The only adjustment i would make would be to next time to tell Jinsto make it extra spicy. read more

So I finally was able to get through to someone on the phone! My boyfriend and I were really excited to try this place since it is close to home and got good reviews on yelp. We were sadly disappointed. I ordered the teriyaki chicken with chicken fried rice and my boyfriend got the orange chicken dinner special. When I picked up the food, the owners were very nice and had my food coming off the stove as I was walking in. Overall, the teriyaki chicken tasted nothing like teriyaki, the egg role with gross, the orange chicken was okay but tasted more like sweet and sour chicken. Jin's has changed ownership and it hasn't been for the better. The food is not seasoned as well, hot & sour soup was vinegary. I am very disappointed because they were my favorite local Chinese restaurant. They are in the same strip mall where my daughter takes karate and I enjoyed being able to place an order before class and pick it up afterwards to take home. It was our weekly treat and the style of food tied in (somewhat) with her lessons. Now we have to find another local place. read more
