Good food and always fast to fulfill orders. Could use a little more salt to improve flavors

I'm no critic but I know good food from bad food. And this food is disgusting. A simple dish of chicken and vegetables should NOT come with some type of jelled coating. The rice had to be 5 days old. The egg roll which are usually pretty good here were terrible. And im pretty sure this mushrooms are from a can. It was simply pit inedible. There are far more choices and much better places if you're looking for Chinese food. Additionally the place was filthy. I should have turned around and walked out. Please consider other places. Have been going here on and off for many years and this past weekend order a couple of plain dishes and the amount of carrots they are putting in is crazy. It seems like a filler as opposed to making the dish with equal amounts of everything. The dishes were bland and needed a bit of salt. The egg rolls were quite bad. Soggy, old ingredients inside. I am pretty sure they were spoiled because the smell was like spoiled milk or spoiled meat. Also got a couple of bags of fried noodles and they smelled like rancid oil. That tells me that they were old. Not sure what's happened with them but the food is not what it once was and not going to go back. read more

Food taste is good there. But their attitude toward customer is the worst I ever met. They have a table inside the restaurant, there is no note that customers are not allowed eating at the table. I have been a loyal Ma's customer for over a decade. They had always been consistent with quality and order correctness. They have also always been on time when picking up my order. Unfortunately, this last time I found a bug hidden in an onion petal. Whether it came directly from the onion itself or from the restaurant I don't know, but gross nonetheless. read more

The BEST Chinese food in this area. It's a small business for take out only. The portions are big and the food is tasty and consistent. The family dinner combinations are good. We order Mongolian beef, beef and/or egg fried rice, sesame chicken (easy sauce so that chicken is crunchy and not drowning in sauce), and low mein noodles. You will not be disappointed. The eggrolls are huge! I didn't realize they had mini shrimp in them and one had a brown line through it (which is the digestive tract). I read it's not harmful to eat, but personally that grossed me out and I won't be eating the eggrolls anymore even though otherwise they do taste good. The rest of the food was fine. The lunch specials come with a ton of chicken fried rice and the main entree is huge as well. You will not go hungry. read more

So work ordered again. The food this time was much better then last time. I also ordered beef. So my meal was ok. So I choose Mongolian beef it was ok it seems to be more of a gravy then the sauce I am use to I will say my meal had half the food of the others. So there was sweet and sour chicken, Kung pao, generals, crab Rangoon, egg rolls. The egg roll was good not greasy, the Rangoon was ok, but I am use to getting a sauce with it that they did not send. this use to be a great place, dont know what happened. last 2 times going there was a joke. first, ordered general chicken and there was no chicken, just fried batter. now tonight i ordered mongolian beef with extra beef, there was a total of 8 pieces of beef. Most Chinese fast food restaurants will have a problem with their fried rice. It was undercooked and it tasted crunchy. However, this is an exception, because their fried rice was perfect and used little oil. I ordered Kung Pao beef and the portion was more than enough. The taste is very typical Chinese fast food restaurants, but the fried rice is far better than the others. I would come back to check out other dishes on their menu. read more

After hearing about the rave reviees people have given this place, i thought i would try it... glad i did because it was excellent... egg rolls are huge and pretty good. Crabtangoons are really good, pot stickers are good with a nice thin dough. As opposed to otherr places that make it really thick.. the beef fried rice was really good with nice chunks of beef. Shrimp fried rice was good with small clean shrimp. The sesame chicken was very good with the right amount of crunch and sweetness.. I will be back to try it again.. read more

Food is decent and price is fair. The only complaint is that they seem to underestimate their time to cook the food. When ordering always add about 15 mins to what they tell you and come later. read more

I've had egg rolls at Ma's in past and they are pretty good, that's what keeps this above a two star review. Lunch special comes up short. Ordered Kung Pao chicken. It is a large amount of food with lots of vegetables. (Celery & peppers) Taste pretty good with a nice amount of heat. The special comes alongside a LARGE order of chicken fried rice. The fried rice is OK, a little bit dry, just way too much. You get a boat load of that stuff but no egg roll with the lunch special. Order of egg rolls come in set of 2 and cost about four bucks. Now my tummy is happy but I have a ton of extra food and spent way more money for lunch that I was supposed to. The best thing you guys have going is your egg roll. Please save yourself some rice, charge me an extra dollar or two and throw in an egg roll with the lunch special. Just keep me under 10 bucks for lunch or my wife's going to kill me. read more
