Nice to have a good meal and service here. The place is nice too. Tried laksa before, it was good. Yummy H4. Malaysian Char Kuay Teow Mee. H1. Hainan Chicken Rice is not the best hainan chicken rice i've tried, but it's still good and i wish it's dark meat.

We stopped in for a quick lunch, and it hit the spot. Beef chow fun was comfort food at its best. Nothing fancy, but very satisfying. The crab rangoon were delicious!

Service is still good. Food has gone downhill. The BBQ pork looks gross and doesn't resemble what BBQ pork is suppose to look like. The Hainan chicken is not fresh and is nuked before they serve it. Prices are still fairly reasonable however not worth it for the poor quality food.

THIS PLACE WAS SO GOOD!! I have always seen this place on the way home and finally had to try. What feels like sitting in a small lunchroom or like a church basement (not a dig, that is a great vibe), the food is out of this world. Extremely fast with a huge menu, I was so shocked about everything. Waitstaff serving free hot tea along with water, food being ready in probably 10 minutes, this place does not mess around. My bill was $30 and I felt like I majorly splurged considering what I bought! I loved the fried chicken, as well as my lo mein. Spring rolls were refreshing (the sauce was great), and the Thai tea was absolutely perfect. This is a great cheap spot to have a quick dinner that is outstanding quality for the price and efficiency. Top tier place for me.

Ordered the curry laksa here and it still stands for me that the southeast Asian food is the best here if you're up to try it. Was not too spicy even though it looks red, had good amounts of chicken, shrimp, boiled egg, fish cakes in it, and had two types of noodles (seems like lots of south East Asian dishes use two types of noodles in one dish). I enjoyed the whole bowl from start to finish. I do wish the chicken was a bit more tender, but still the meal was delicious. On to trying more of the southeast Asian part of the menu here. And like always, we were seated immediately, and the food probably came out around 5 minutes after we ordered. Note that the gratuity may be included in your bill already (not sure if it was like that because we had a large party), but it didn't note that when we paid, so we ended up paying double tip when we didn't mean to. I guess that'll go to thank Asian noodle house for their super fast service and good food.

My friends and I were craving Chinese food and decided to try Asian Noodle House because of the high reviews, but our experience did not match the five star ratings. When we walked in, the restaurant was extremely hot, which made it uncomfortable from the start. There were only a few customers inside, and while the space was clean, it was not very visually appealing. Our waitress was friendly and provided good service, but the overall atmosphere was awkward. There were far too many employees working for how empty the restaurant was, and it felt like we were being watched throughout the entire meal. They hovered around our table, stood nearby with nothing to do, and cleaned plates the second we finished. Although they were attentive with refilling waters, the constant presence made it hard to relax and enjoy the meal. The menu is very extensive, just like many Chinese restaurants, and the prices are extremely affordable. There are plenty of options, including appetizers, noodles, fried rice, rice platters, stir fry, pho, chow mein, and a variety of sides. Anyone could find something that sounds good. For my appetizer, I ordered the crab rangoons (six for $4.95). Mine were delicious, crispy, and had plenty of filling, so I really enjoyed them. My friend ordered the same thing but hers had noticeably less filling, so her experience was not as positive. For my entree, I ordered the beef and broccoli served over fried rice. The fried rice was tasty, but the beef and broccoli were drenched in an overly thick sauce that overwhelmed everything. The texture of the beef was extremely chewy, so I ended up eating the broccoli and rice and leaving the meat on the side. My friends had similar issues with their dishes. One of them disliked the texture of the meat and the heavy sauce, while the other enjoyed her meal more than we did because I think she ordered a noodle dish that did not have heavy sauce. Overall, while the prices are good and the menu has a lot to offer, the food quality and uncomfortable atmosphere did not give us the experience we were hoping for and I wouldn't come back.

Absolutely love this place. Great Thai and fusion dishes with incredible flavor and preparation. The restaurant is not focused on ambiance but delivers great service and exceptional food. We had the egg roll and lemongrass chicken wing appetizers. Egg rolls were tasty with ground pork inside. Wings were battered and deep fried and cooked perfectly with a lovely lemongrass note to the coating. I ordered the House special H4 - Malaysian dish with flat and yellow noodle with chicken. Over the top delicious and the sauce was fantastic. I ordered it spicy as I like spicy food and it was spot on. A little hint of spice at the start and then a slow build as you eat. Incredibly well done. My son had the Udon noodle combination- also very tasty. Super attentive service and food came out very fast. I will definitely be back and will work my way through their menu. Highly recommend.

Is this trendy and insta-aesthetic? No. But that's why the food here probably tastes so good. My family has been complaining here for as kong as I can remember, and after all these years it still hits. Prices cannot be beat. Like, we're talking $8 orders for some things folks! What we got: Super bowl - Classic wonton noodle soup dish that just hits the spot. It used to have sliced bok choy, but I think they started using spinach? Still tastes the same and I split this between me and my kid. Lemongrass chicken - When I think of this chicken, I think of it from here. It is so crispy! So juicy! So much flavor! Always a 10/10. Curry laska - This is amazing. I don't know that I've tried it at other places, but this is the one that holds my heart. My dad usually orders this because it's hard to get anywhere else. So much flavor happening. So many fun textures from the different seafood plus chicken. The shrimp paste is what really makes it and brings it home. I don't know if they still do this, but when the owner used to be working, he could make claypot rice for you. It took about 20-30 minutes but it was so worth it! Please never let this place change or go out of business!

I've been here a couple of times. It's been a while since I last been so had to stop by. I like how affordable the dishes are and service is always quick. I order the bbq pork noodle soup and the beef fried rice. We also order the spring rolls and a Thai ice tea. Everything was so delicious as always.

I love this place. The food is amazing; always served quick and piping hot, not to mention absolutely delicious. We have been here several times in the past two years and we have never had a bad meal. The restaurant is super clean. The last time we went, we noticed the staff going to all the tables and cleaning the condiment bottles. Attention to detail. Service is always quick and friendly.

It is hard to beat the pricing here. I've been here multiple times for lunch and never had a bad experience. Hainese chicken- the chicken is well cooked but the dish is a tad oily and could use more seasoning. Duck - the duck skin is not crispy and is a bit overcooked. Spring rolls - well made and tastes fresh Egg rolls- crispy and savory Shrimp wonton noodle soup - excellent broth that tastes good and the wontons are packed with shrimp. Good ambiance and service. No issues here.

Roast Duck and Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup

What a find in Schaumberg! This is a traditional Cantonese Noodle shop with noodle soups, fried noodles, and rice plates. They threw in a section of Pho as well, which tells me that the owner is probably Cantonese from Vietnam. The ambiance of the place is like...what ambiance? Lol it's a very traditional Cantonese "dai pai dong" which means sidewalk cafe. I got the Roast Duck and Wonton Noodle Soup and my son got the Seafood Rice Plate. Everything came exactly as I expected. The duck was on point, wontons were fresh and handmade, and the broth was pretty close to what you'd find in Chinatown. The only things negative to mention were that they drowned the rice plate with their white sauce, and both dishes had ample amounts of MSG, which is of course par for the course. Well for what it is, we will still come back. Next time we'll try the BBQ Pork on either rice plate or in a bowl of noodle soup!

I ordered enough for two, which means I would have something for the next two meals. The restaurant has been around for a while, and it is a stand alone building. The menu, like what you will find in Malaysia - a mixed of Chinese, Malay, and Indian. The service is always prompt. Here's what I ordered: 1) Roti Canai served with Malaysian chicken curry - the curry is unlike Indian curry. This is a typical Malaysian style curry. You take a piece of the crispy yet a little chewy pan fried dough and dipped in this curry broth. That combination will kick off your appetite. 2) Seafood and Tofu clay pot - a mix of fish fillet, squid, shrimp, vegetables and homemade tofu served in a clay pot. The tofu is delicious - crispy outside with soft and silky center - chef's kiss! 3) String bean mixed with balacan - balacan is a Malaysian sambal sauce made with shrimp paste and chili. It has this savory, sweet and lightly spicy flavor mixed with crispy string beans. It was a delightful dinner! There are many other dishes that I'll come back for, especially other dishes with their homemade tofu.

To clear things up about their dining area, they have 2 small tables outside and 1 small and 2 big tables inside. Small tables - 2 chairs. Big tables - 4 chairs. On weekdays, you don't need to make a reservation. On the weekends due to their limited dine in area, I would recommend a reservation to be safe. You can make a reservation through Google/Yelp or phone call. Parking is easy since it's in a strip mall. There is also a 3% charge if you use plastic. Just a note, I tried looking at their food pictures on their website, but it kind of runs slow. Sometimes it would freeze. I think they need to fix it. I would return here to try other items. I would highly recommend ordering off their Malaysian menu instead of the miscellaneous. Don't order orange chicken or General Tao's chicken. Very cringe because you can get that literally anywhere. Get the Malaysian food because it's hard to find in Illinois. The owner is very sweet and the service is attentive. We ordered lor bak, nasi lemak, Hainanese chicken rice, hokkien mee, and kuih talam. Just a FYI, the portions are very generous. For 2 people, I would recommend ordering 2 dishes. Prices are reasonable for what you get. A pot of tea is $6. -lor bak 5 - I highly recommend this appetizer. It has crispy pork sausage with shrimp fritters, beancurd, and cucumber. It comes with two sauces. Everything was delicious. -nasi lemak 5 - I love the chicken rendang. The meat is very tender and it has a deep flavor. You can taste the spices that went into it. -Hainanese chicken rice 3.5 - I gave Penang Malaysian Cuisine a 4 because the rice was delicious. HD's version, the rice was not as moist and flavorful. The chicken was not bad, it's about the same as Penang's. It could be a bit more succulent without the sauces. -hokkien mee 4 - this won't be as tasty as in Malaysia. I liked the big pieces of shrimp, an adequate amount of sliced pork and hard boiled egg. The broth is still very good. If it's your first time having this, I still recommend it. -kuih talam 5 - I would suggest this if you like pandan. It's not sweet. It has a soft and bouncy texture.
