Where's the meat. I ordered the Delight Soft Lo Mein and while it tasted very good 99% of the container was spaghetti noodles not Cantonese Chinese noodles. There was hardly any meat, a few shreds of carrots and onions. We also ordered Pot Stickers and they were very good and not that thick wall of dough with a bit of sausage most other Chinese Restaurants serve. We originally planned to order from a restaurant across the street but that restaurant said they didn't open until noon so could not have food ready by 12:30. I then saw Twin Dragons across street and went in and talked to Ruby. She was wonderful. Twin Dragons is our go-to Chinese place!!! I am so glad another couple places messed up and led us here. I have never, ever had bad food from here. The fried rice is delicious with eggs and chicken, the egg rolls are HUGE and delicious, the crab rangoons are HUGE and delicious, and everything reheats so well the next day (with a glass of water in the microwave with it to create some steam). If you're looking for really fresh, really delicious Chinese food - the perfect kind of Chinese food that you think of when you think of Chinese food - you have got to try this place! Placed my first order last night. Delivery was prompt. Shrimp fried rice was good but the shrimp egg rolls had a weird taste. I normally devour egg rolls but only took a few bites and left it be. Sweet and Sour shrimp is a fave of mine, and this was the first time I experienced a last than fresh batch. The batter on the shrimp was hard and puffed up with the shrimp buried inside. It was like a fortune cookie batter and was not seasoned at all, not even the sauce saved it. I feel like I've wasted my money, will stick to Silver Lake next time. read more

While staying with my parents over Labor Day, we decided we wanted Chinese take-out. This place is pretty near their house, and I think they usually order from here. We got take out, and everything was nicely packed and ready to go right on time when we arrived to pick it up. Pretty standard Chinese food menu. We got general tsao chicken, pineapple fried rice, chicken fried rice, crab wontons, chicken lo mien, and egg rolls. We also had a coupon for free egg rolls which they let us use even though it was expired. And then they gave us new coupons! Nice. The food was all good. I wish there was more pineapple in the pineapple fried rice. Otherwise, I really liked everything. Their crab wontons were enormous! Loved it. The sweet & sour red dipping sauce was also really tasty. I think I'm getting hungry just writing this review. Also a small note - they do NOT take Discover. Not sure about American Express. We've ordered from here a few times. I was surprised when i read the recent review about the crab rangoon being terrible, because we've had them before and they were better than other places. Then we ordered from them a few days ago and the crab rangoon was disgusting, they changed the filling. I don't know why they changed it when it was so good before. It was disappointing because that was one of the things we would order every time. The meat is good, fresher and more tender than other nearby places. The veggies are also fresh, but a lot of time can be undercooked, especially the broccoli. Mongolian beef and chicken fried rice are good, eggrolls are ok, barbecue pork is SUPER fatty to the point where there's more chunks of fat than actual pork, but as long as you take the time to get all the fat off it's ok, the teriyaki beef sticks were nice and tender last time we ordered them a few weeks ago, but after our experience with the crab rangoon being terrible now it makes me wonder what else they've changed. Overall it's a 2.5. There are some items that are still good, but after the crab rangoon i'm wondering if the quality of the rest of their food is going to go down too. read more

We ordered general's, moo shu chicken, crab rangoons, beef fried rice, mongolian beef and hot and sour soup. The only one downside is they only provide 2 wraps for the mooshu chicken. That's a tad cheapo but w/e. The food was hot and good. The soup was tasty. The general's chicken was not exactly the same as I'd expect, but still good. I'd probably get something other than the beef fried rice next time, although it wasn't bad. Just not my style. This was more than enough food for 3 people, and we had a lot of leftovers. We've been ordering from here (both delivery and pick-up) for years - since 2006 - and the quality has been consistently good. This is the only Chinese restaurant we order from now. The quality of meat is great, the veggies are fresh and plentiful, and the egg rolls are fantastic. I had kind of stopped ordering dishes with meat in them from other Chinese places because the meat was always rubbery, hard to chew, too fatty, etc. This is the only place (of many) that we've tried where the meat tastes light and fresh. My family usually orders things like chicken fried rice, General Tso's chicken, Orange chicken, egg drop soup, Sweet 'n sour chicken, beef chop suey, Lemon chicken, beef and broccoli, etc. They have a huge menu! read more

Finally went OUT for Chinese with a fussy friend who will only order one particular dish no matter what is on the menu and has been ordering it from his favorite take-out only place for the last 20 years. So, Twin Dragons clearly had its work cut out for them! Hallelujah and praise be, they earned the highest compliment when, as we were leaving, FF muttered "Yeah, I'd come back here..." Service was quick and attentive. And I was very impressed with my Kung Bao Beef as well, hot and spicy as advertised, with a high ratio of very tender meat to veggies in a light juice instead of heavy brown sauce, Dinner was at 4:30 pm, and the leftovers were gone by 10:30 pm. Called at about 15-20 minutes til closing and the guy said that the delivery guy had already left, but then he decided to make it get to me anyways, which I really appreciate from a customer service standpoint. The crab rangoon were really good and crispy. The shrimp fried rice was very good, and I love how it wasn't greasy at all.
