    Impossible Gyoza combo
    Oulimata D.

I come to this location quite often, but this past weekend(2.13.26) was by far my best trip into Jinya. The food was absolutely delicious and I regrettably forgot to ask who the chef was that night. Everything was so rich in flavor and perfect! I took my mom out to dinner and we sat at the bar for a little over an hour. Since we wanted to sit at the bar and they were pretty busy, we were waiting to be seated for about 10 minutes because the counter hadn't been cleaned from the last group. I ordered the spicy creamy vegan ramen with spicy sauce, garlic, and hot sauce on the side. I made the ramen into a combo and got 4 vegan gyoza and a house salad for an additional $7. The combo is such a great offer because I never waste food with the limited gyoza count. When I usually come here they forget the crispy onions on the ramen bowl, but this time it was served to perfection. My mom ordered the kids meal which comes with salad, french fries, a rice bowl, crispy chicken, a ramen bowl, an orange slice, and ice cream(so much, I know!). Unfortunately, she mentioned that the soup noodles were very mushy and lacked flavor which she said was pretty unusual. She did, however, say that the chicken was so crispy and that everything else was delicious. She orders this every time we go to Jinya but this day our server mentioned that he would have to ask if an adult can order a kids meal because it might not be allowed. Ultimately, they let her order it, but that was pretty unusual. We sat at the bar and watched the olympics and had a great night. Our server/bar tender was Jayson and he was great! He never made us feel rushed or like we were asking too much of him, so that is always a plus. The interior was very clean and I love how dim the lighting is. It gives such a foreign experience, so it allows you to really feel like you are at a ramen bar. There are cool paintings on the wall and when you walk in, they shout something in Japanese, but I never know what it is that they are saying lol. I assume it is a welcome:) While my ranking is closer to a 4.5 out of 5 due to the kids meal, it is usually a 5/5 and I would totally recommend this specific location!

Stopped in here for some small bites and caught a great happy hour! They have some awesome promotions running. Even though a few menu items I wanted weren't available, everything I did order tasted fresh and delicious. The broccoli was definitely my favorite, and the dressing on the side salad was yummy! The ambiance was clean and inviting. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and upbeat. I'll definitely be back!

I've been going to jinya locations for years now and I still like their ramen, especially the tonkotsu black! We like to swap the standard thin noodles for thick noodles for no price difference. If you like the chewy noodle texture, the thick noodles are delicious. My favorite combo is to get some fried chicken karaage to dip into the broth. Portion with thick noodles is big in my opinion. I cant finish the bowl. Its a nice savory satisfying meal. I think the toppings have changed over the years, so its a little plainer than I remember. I love the mushrooms for the crunchy texture but would prefer the pork chashu to be softer. It was hard to chew and tough, so I skipped eating it. We went on a weekday around 6. There was no wait and service was friendly and fast. Food came out within 10 minutes and the fried chicken came our almost immediately. The chicken was so crunchy and delicious. Nice big pieces too. 2 to katsu black ramen and 5 piece chicken was around $48.

I've been here multiple times and always enjoy it. This time, I came on a Friday afternoon during lunch time and sat at the (what I guess was) the ramen bar overlooking the kitchen. The service was quick. I ordered the spicy tuna tacos (2), tempura Brussels sprouts (my fave) & the chicken yuzu delight ramen. All were delicious. My only sidebar is that the lunch menu could be better. It should have more options for people who don't eat pork or meat.

Reese is the best server we've had in a long time. Completely changed the vibe when he started taking care of us. Tonkatsu Red had a nice kick on level 4. Chashu wasn't dry -- perfectly tender. Ramen was perfect temp to eat immediately. We also had the crunchy Tuna Taco, but ate it way too fast for photos. Highly recommend it.

JINYA in Duluth was SO good! The ramen was rich and flavorful, perfectly cooked noodles, and the broth had that slow-simmered depth you can taste in every bite. The appetizers were just as impressive, and everything came out fresh and hot. Definitely one of the best ramen spots in the area. I'll absolutely be back!

Jinya is a solid choice if you LOVE garlic lol. At least that's what I instantly thought of of their tonkotsu broth. Their appetizers are great, everything came out fresh to order. Hubby and I went on a weekday during lunch and service was great/food came out quick! They have an outdoor patio that can seat quite a number of people. They also have an indoor bar. Parking is free. Overall, a pretty solid choice if you're craving Japanese ramen. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area!

One of the best Ramen I've had in Atlanta this place has multiple locations, but this location does have a lot of seating available as it is not busy as the downtown area. There are plenty of options, but we chose a spicy lemon. It was mouthwatering it really enhance taste buds and the pallet. There's plenty of parking available outside. The service was super amazing. Everybody was so nice playful, joyful, and they were making us laugh. Every time we see them would certainly come back to this place and try like other stuff I want to talk about the ambulance because this place does have a very dark ambience just like a shack in Japan.

This was a tough one to rate. I'd probably rate it 3.5 if half stars were available. The takoyaki and the jinya red ramen both tasted good. The texture on the takoyaki was on point with it being creamy inside and a soft crunchy outer. They shred the bonito flakes which I didn't care for as I felt I didn't get the usual experience and taste from it. I also wished there was more octopus in the takoyaki. The heat level of 5 was a pretty good heat level. Probably too spicy for those who aren't used to it, but I think I could've done to level 6 despite the waiter's warning. I ended up with 5 since they charge you extra to go up to level 6 and beyond. The ramen noodles had a good chew and bounce. I wasn't as impressed with the chashu though. The fat to meat ratio was just okay, and the fat wasn't rendered down enough. The matcha tiramisu was good but nothing impressive. I'd skip The waiter was super friendly and attentive. We were seated right away at the bar. It's a little small inside but still comfortable.

    Tan Tan Men

I had my favorite ramen Tantanmen today. It was amazing. I've had Ramen in Japan and this is the closest thing to it. Great service love the restaurant. I will definitely be back soon.

French Fries w/ Truffle Ranch and Spicy Mayo
    Leilani S.

Came to Jinya for dinner like we always do when my girlfriend's in town! I tried the vegan red fire opal, and it was sour (bright, lime flavor) and spicy just how I wanted it to. We also tried the fries with truffle ranch and spicy mayonnaise, a new addition to the appetizer selection. Very tasty, salted fries and both sauces were good, although the ranch was on the thinner side and the truffle flavor was very subtle. Not bad for $3.50. Ava took great care of us, and we sat outside and enjoyed a windy afternoon warming up with our bowls of ramen :)

    Yummy mocktail!

Omg finally! On the coldest day of winter (so far), my best friend and I decided on ramen! I have been wanting to try Jinya for yearssss so I was very excited. Inside is cuteee, so much bigger than I expected. Our server was really helpful and patient with us while we figured out what to order I got the creamy vegan ramen with a mocktail and added a seasoned egg. The egg was such a game changer but I think the ramen would be amazing even without it. I loved everything !! My best friend got a chicken ramen and added shrimp dumplings. We were both really happy and definitely satisfied our craving in the cold Can't wait to stop by at another location !

I had an amazing experience here with my sister! We wanted to stop by and try the birria ramen. The service was amazing the moment we walked in! We stopped by around 7pm on a Sunday. The birria ramen was pretty good, but not something I'd reorder. I love my usual (spicy creamy vegan). My sister had the spicy chicken ramen which is her absolute favorite and was so so delicious. Of course, I had to get the matcha lychee lemonade which is my top favorite mocktail EVER, please try it out! To switch things up this time around we grabbed dessert, we had the Panna Cotta which is a must have. It's homemade and made up of caramel cream sauce, graham cracker and some kind of vanilla ice cream on top. It's similar to the texture of flan, it's so so good and the perfect way to end our sister date meal! As always, a great experience here at Jinya Duluth!

Super appreciative of such technology. Parking was plentiful when we got there and we were able to park right next to the patio and front door. The immediate parking lot is kind of small and shared with some other establishments, but there is plenty of other parking in connecting lots around the establishment. So no worries if you don't get as lucky as we do. The hostess was very pleasant and offered either indoor or outdoor seating. It was a rainy day so we opted for inside to be on the safe side (the patio is covered though, so no worries if that's your preference). Our server Nicholas was super polite and helpful. He explained the menu and abbreviations to my party with suffient detail. The food was cooked to perfection and served at the perfect temperature. We'll definitely return based on the stellar hospitality!

I wanted to celebrate close to home, and I'm grateful for the friends who joined me to make the evening special. I wasn't looking for a club vibe or anything over the top--just good food, good service, and quality time with friends. The valet staff was amazing and set a great first impression. Once inside, however, finding the restaurant proved to be more challenging than expected. We were simply told to "take the elevator to the top," which had us wondering, "Where's the elevator?" It was difficult to find someone who could clearly direct us. The ambiance was nice, and the cocktails were very good. The food presentation was appealing, and while I can't think of anything particularly bad, I also can't say there was anything that truly stood out as exceptional. Service was slightly inconsistent, from the host stand to table service. It could have been due to the modified reservation time or where our party was seated, but the experience didn't quite match the scenery shown in the photos. Our table was tucked into a tighter section by the glass wall, and instead of enjoying the expected views, we were looking at the parking deck. That may have affected the overall atmosphere and why it didn't deliver the "wow" factor I had anticipated. Overall, I think Overstory is better suited for an intimate date night, a one-on-one catch-up with a girlfriend, or perhaps guests staying at the hotel. I appreciate the experience and the opportunity to celebrate another year surrounded by good friends. While it wasn't a standout experience for me, I'm glad I gave it a try.

I placed an order for everything on the carte menu. Food was fun and a few of the dishes caught me off guard, in a good way. Pros. We loveeed the maitake mushrooms. This dish was one dish my friend and I had low expectations for. Ironically it's the only dish we would go back for! The bucatini I also had low expectations for. I hardly order pasta, from non pasta specialty places, because the pasta is 99% of the time going to be overcooked. BUT this bucatini was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was rich but not too heavy and just enough to cover the noodles without drowning. The crab taste was pretty faint. If it weren't listed on the menu I wouldn't even think it were in the dish. Cons. The brussel sprout salad was honestly almost inedible. It is a raw shaved brussel sprout salad, dressed as a Caesar salad. Although not bad tasting, the core of the sprouts was not tender but dry and hard. There was also a lot of it. Most disappointing was the "waygu ribeye". The quality was pretty horrible. The piece we got had silver skin as well as chunks of fat. I wish I got a picture of the leftover fat from the steak but if you look at my picture you can clearly see slices of just fat. I love a little fat on a well cooked ribeye and do not mind paying for it. But paying $50 for a probably 8oz "waygu" ribeye with only half of it palatable is wild. Regardless, I'm actually going back in a couple of days with my husband because of those amazing mushrooms.. though as I am writing this review I'm debating on canceling my reservation, ordering the mushrooms to go, and just going elsewhere. lol

If you haven't been to Just Brunch in Duluth, consider this your official wake-up call and brunch…read morereminder! I stopped by this hidden gem around 9:00 AM on my way to an event. When I pulled up my jaw dropped from seeing all the cars. The parking lot was absolutely STACKED. I'm talking packed out with hungry brunch-goers! I immediately had that dread that I'd be waiting forever for a table. However, the universe was working in my favor. There was no wait at all! Actually there was plenty of seating both inside and the patio. I happily slid right up to the bar. My server was also the bartender, and he provided top-tier customer service. He was so genuinely nice. Honestly, the moment I saw his locs neatly and impeccably pulled back, I got that instant feeling of comfort. I knew right then and there I was in the absolute right spot. I peeked at the breakfast menu and noticed they serve alkaline water, which is a massive health and wellness plus for me. You already know that premium hydration was the very first thing I ordered to set the entire vibe. Next up was the main event of the morning. I saw the Quartet Waffles with homemade maple butter on the menu and it immediately gained my interest. That's when he asked if I wanted the regular waffles or their signature cornbread waffles. I asked him which one was more popular. Without missing a beat, he told me I had to try the cornbread. So, I trusted the expert and went for it, alongside a savory side of scrambled eggs and seasoned breakfast potatoes. I was thoroughly impressed with the culinary presentation. The eggs looked fresh, vibrant, and top-notch quality. The breakfast potatoes were perfectly seasoned and cooked to an absolute golden crisp. But those cornbread waffles? They were a gourmet masterpiece and something else entirely! I have never in my life had a cornbread waffle, and honestly, I can't see myself ever going back to a regular waffle recipe. The kitchen execution was flawless: crispy on the outside, beautifully gooey on the interior texture, and that homemade maple butter? OMG! It brought the sweet and savory profiles together in perfect harmony. It was worth every single magnificent bite! While sitting at the bar counter, I saw so much fast footwork, quick table turns, people picking up orders and high energy from the front-of-house staff. This place is hustling, the restaurant energy is high, the nostalgic R&B music in the background make this a great outing for the whole family or solo like me. They are situated in a fantastic location for a weekend brunch. Just Brunch, you have a major fan in me. I will be back real, real soon for round two! Keep up the spectacular work!!! #JustBrunch #AtlantaBrunch #FoodieReview #CornbreadWaffles #BrunchSpot #SupportLocal #AtlantaRestaurants #BestBrunchATL #AshSaidIt #YelpATL #FoodPorn

They have a few TVs for viewing and had a live belly dancer briefly perform. They didn't have a DJ. It seems like they were playing music from a music playlist, which was a mix of RnB and Hip Hop. Their menu has food, drink, and hookah options. They had nothing on the menu except for Suya; so, we didn't have food. The drinks were pretty good and reasonably priced, given that they were served in plastic cups. The hookah was pretty good and lasted awhile. Of note, the bartender couldn't take cash because she didn't have enough change in the register to return; the only option was card payment.

The sign would advise they open at 5, but doors wouldn't open until nearly an hour later. They would frequently do grocery runs to Walmart then charge you the same amount for items such as wings that were clearly different and finally arrived right before they close the lounge. So you literally had to box them, then pay your bill to close..... With that said, The recent visit I made last week was MUCH better. Decor of this locale is real loungy and sleek. Nice ambiance for a Gwinnett experience...The staff is very pleasant, and the Siracha wings are amazing!!! Presentation was so simple but nice... My friend got another chicken dish, that kinda looked like a Cordon Bleu, and that was quite tasty as well. Drinks are fair, (tiny portions with ice), and the music is good. Mix of African/Reggae/HipHop. In all, I recommend this place if the consistency stays like this....but I had to be honest about my previous experiences.
