I love Junior and the only one I've been to was downtown. But this Katy location seems to be a lot bigger, and the service from beginning to end is just perfection. The food is always great the options are delicious. I do have to say that the bar area is fun to sit at at this location. The bartender the day I went she was absolutely fabulous and was very attentive despite great distractions. The manager was super sweet and very attentive, genuinely cared for how our service was. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely return to this location. Parking is ample out in the front, and it is an easy location to get to right off the highway.

Came back to jinya today after work and tried the eggplant dish it was so good! It also comes with Brussel sprouts, bok choy, and red bell peppers. The sauce is so flavorful! It's topped with bonito flakes.

The location is very nice and a new building so there is some appeal here. However, I think the food can be much better for the price they charge. The vibe is decent though so overall I would say it's a middle of the pack Ramen restaurant in the Houston area.

The ramen was so good! The broth had a lot of flavor and the noise was cooked well. There were good amount of toppings and loved that the egg was cooked perfectly jammy! Our server was on top of everything and the food came out really fast. It's a more casual atmosphere, great spot for lunch.

Came here on a random Wednesday afternoon and it was pretty packed. I sat at the bar & Huy was my server. I've been here so many times I order off of memory and he knew exactly what I was talking about. He checked on me multiple times and was a pleasure. Food was 10/10 as always. I ordered their watermelon, summer drink, the crispy shrimp tempura as an appetizer and the spicy chicken Ramen. (I forgot to take a before pic so here's the after. lol) Definitely will be back.

Love going to Jinya, always tend to go for the Tonkotsu or the Kaarage whenever they have it but this time I saw Birria Ramen on the menu and was so intrigued. THATS the kinda Houston Fusion I like to see so I had to try. FLAAAAMES. This was incredible the meat was as soft and juicy as in a birria taco and that consome flavor was on point. The broth was delicious, noodles were great, and this one did not come with an egg but I had to add one because how can you have ramen without egg?? Love that they give you full eggs and not half eggs here. Sat at the bar and our bartender / server was incredibly kind and attentive!

Despite being in a strip of serious food heavy hitters (#1), the most popular option is likely this JINYA, nestled in the heart of Katy's suburbia. They've become a relatively well oiled machine with keeping their Japanese-American inspired fare consistent and their customer service reliably on point. Whether one is a novice or regular, it's going to be a good time almost every time. While the space isn't extremely spacious, they've done a great job in utilizing a layout that works for all group sizes. The bar is always a fun area to watch the kitchen staff do their thing, but larger groups can enjoy the intimate corner / side areas for more comfortable surroundings. The ambiance is especially nice at night, which could make this a quality date night destination. Kudos to the interior designer for the excellent ambient lighting. The tonkotsu black is always a safe option, which combines a fragrant broth with an equally tasty finish. I always take a nice couple of spoonful sips before bottoming out the rest of the bowl. The yuzu shio, spicy umami, and the tonkotsu original are always appreciated. While their wonton based ramens have failed to impress, the birria ramen is a complete salt bomb. The latter is admittedly a rough one, so I'd recommend sticking to their classic options. Beware of the semi-small portions when considering extra options like chashu pork, corn, or extra noodles. When it comes to toppings, I don't know of any other ramen chain that has such an extensive selection. There's no limit how one can customize the bowl to their liking, which is pretty fantastic. Shoutout to management for offering vegan friendly options as well. Their crispy chicken (aka karaage) has a nice crunch and is appropriately juicy. While I think the gyozas are overpriced at nearly $12 for 6 pieces, they do make for a nice change up palate wise. The mini tacos are definitely mini and the presentation is extremely on point. The best deal in the house might be the kids meal at $12, which comes with a mini bowl of chicken ramen, along with a mini chashu rice bowl, some crispy chicken, french fries, and even candy. The staff is what makes JINYA shine almost always. The customer service is on point and they're incredibly accommodating to point where I'm often looking forward to every visit. ___________ (#1) Which includes Twenty Five Teishoku House, Fadi's Mediterranean Grill to name a few.

First time here, I don't eat Ramen but my grandson wanted to eat here. I let him order both our meals. Absolutely delicious! Cyrus was awesome and engaged with Josiah thank you Cyrus you made his day! Restaurant is super clean. There's patio seating as well

As usual, my first dinner when I get to Katy, is the vegan ramen and seaweed salad from JINYA. It always hit! Fresh, delicious, and fast. I'm here four days, I'm sure I'll eat here more than twice. The staff is very nice, even though I typically get takeout so I can eat with the family, I'd eat there in a heartbeat. It's clean and everyone is friendly. I forgot to take pictures of all my food. Day 2 I ordered the vegan kids meal for my grandson and the seaweed salad. So good.

Ordered the Premium Tonkotsu Red and went with spice level 6 (out of 10). It was prettty spicy, but in the best way. The kind of heat that keeps you going back for more! Our waiter was super sweet and helpful with recommendations. Service was quick, food came out hot and fresh. Definitely coming back!

Lana is the sweetest person here at Jinya Katy. She is always so attentive and treats me with the utmost respect. I come here for happy hour during my lunch break and I love it. Food is pretty good for the price. I got salmon and tuna tacos for $5 each! I also like their rice bowls here. If you go to jinya Katy, ask for Lana!

Service was great & very responsible taking dietary restrictions seriously. Both vegan ramen bowls we had were awesome. My favorite was the Vegan Red Fire Opal. Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen was also very good. The space was very clean & chill.

Similar to other recently opened venues that serve beer on tap and feature both indoor and outdoor spaces, there is something available for all ages in your party. Though parking is free in their lot, it does quickly fill up as the evening progresses. Our friends had reserved a few tables outside, but it also turned out to be the coldest day of the year, so we ended up settling inside. We sampled sliders, hot dogs, flat breads, pizza, pretzels, nachos, and chicken lollipops, which were served in metal catering trays along a long table. All the food items that were ordered were good. We did not order anything to drink, but the servers did a great job of coming by our tables to see if we needed anything throughout the evening, and he had quite a large party. The outdoor space is pretty large, with open areas of turf for lawn games and kids to run around. There is also ample outdoor seating, with a few food trucks along the outer part of the venue. Not sure if these are left out year-round, but they had these fire pit space heater/light sources between the tables that provided a nice touch to the outdoor space, especially as the evening grew darker. Although we don't live nearby, this was a great spot to celebrate a birthday, hang out with friends, date night, etc. I definitely recommend this place if you live on this side of town.

He gave great drink recommendations based on sharing your preferences and was also great to talk to. I didn't have any food because they were out of chicken sliders & chicken lollipops. The music is a mix of EDM, Hip-hop, Rap, and R&B. They have tables and bar top seating. If you have a bigger group, I'm sure you can find a table depending on the time you arrive. There is a lot of seating. To start off, I ordered the Matcha Martini. It was STRONG omg, definitely a sipper, but it was so good. It was creamy and had a good matcha flavor. I love how they added matcha powder on top. For drinks, I also tried their espresso martini and Bubbly Pineapple. The espressos here are good, no complaints. The Bubbly Pineapple is so cute; it comes out with a bubble of smoke you can pop. The drink is very refreshing; it really tastes like pineapple. FYI, the drink has little black seeds, so if you don't like textures in your drink, maybe this one isn't for you. Also the drink came with a little frozen pineapple you can add to your drink once you pop the bubble As an appetizer, I got a dozen raw oysters and decided to add the $5 tobiko (fish eggs). Let me say, they were not stingy with the Tobiko, there was so much on my Oysters, I mean a lot! The oysters were good, and so was the tobiko, but I feel that with so much tobiko, it kind of took away from the oysters. Still good though, especially for $21 for the dozen with the tobiko! It was very filling I'm not gonna lie, I got pretty full with the oysters, but I still had to eat my entree As an entree, I ordered the Short Ribs, which came with rice and a side salad. I didn't think I was going to eat much of my entree since the oysters had filled me up, but I ate the short ribs down to the bone! Every single one of those ribs I devoured, no meat was left on my plate. I didn't have space to eat, but my stomach made space for this. 10/10 would recommend the short ribs, especially with the delicious sauce it came with. I think it's like a fish sauce 10/10 for food and drinks. Bonus: the staff here is really friendly. I really enjoyed my time here. I need to come more often for sure, this is definitely a Katy gem

Overall the staff was very nice and attentive despite being busy. The restaurant was clean as well. I do enjoy the large parking lot they share with surrounding businesses.

Service was extremely slooooow... waited 45 mins for 4lbs of crawfish, asked for butter and a tray to put the shells in, they said yes and the cook never came back so I had to go get my own at the cooking area. Our server was lack luster and didn't seem like she wanted to be there. She didn't even come to apologize for the wait or that the food was coming. We had to ask for refills and napkins after waiting 15+ mins until she came back to the grass patio area. Crawfish finally came it was lukewarm and some had a fishy taste. Best part there was maybe 15 people in the grass patio area and 3 people at the inside bar. Customers were cleaning off the tables to sit, getting their own napkins and going inside to get drinks at the bar. A table in front of us declined their potatoes and sausage bc it took so long after their other food came out. Also, we wanted to order cheese fries but were told they weren't doing certain foods bc there was only 1 cook. Lol Place has potential but needs to be cleaned up (random kiddie pool next to the outside crawfish cooking area) , food needs to be refined, servers need to be retrained and customer service needs to be a focus.

Kizuki is now my top favorite ramen spot in the Greater Houston area. My boyfriend and I wanted to…read moretry a different ramen spot from our usual ones, so we decided to check out Kizuki in Katy. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the servers are friendly and helpful. We stopped by for an early dinner on a Saturday evening, so the restaurant wasn't yet busy when we got there but started to fill up as we ate. There are so many different ramen options and toppings to choose from. You can choose to get the low sodium option for all the ramen if you prefer, and they also have free unsalted ramen broth refill. They also have other dishes besides ramen, and you can also customize any existing dishes with other toppings as you'd like. I got the Garlic Tonkotsu Shoyu ramen with spinach and corn, and my boyfriend got the Spicy Ramen. Both broths were so rich and flavorful. They were both slightly salty, so we also got the clear broth refill which made them just right. The ramen had a perfect chew, and the toppings were flavorful and delicious. I usually don't like bamboo toppings in ramen because of the ammonia smell, but I tried some bamboo from the Spicy Ramen that my boyfriend got, and it had no strong bamboo smells at all. I was so impressed. I also ordered the Japanese curry with chicken kaarage to-go, and they were also really tasty. I will definitely be back to Kizuki for more in the future.
