Updated photos from my experience. The woman left my lash lift on for way too long, burnt mu lashes to a crisp. She was threading other women's brows while she left it on to get a quick buck while already in the middle of a service. She was rude, her hands smelt, and now the salon will not offer a refund or any kind of compensation other than wanting to touch my lashes again but I will not let them near these with a 7ft pole ever again. I've been coming here on and off for years to get my eyebrows done, and they usually do a good job. It has taken me years to grow my eyebrows back to a natural, full shape after they were once over-threaded too thin. I went in yesterday and told Stephanie I just wanted a clean-up, since it had been a while. I specifically mentioned that I like my brows thick and natural. Instead, she completely changed the shape and removed a large portion of my brows. When I pointed it out, she blamed it on old microblading I had done years ago -- which was actually much thinner than my current shape. Rather than checking with me or confirming what I wanted, she just went ahead. Now, one eyebrow is noticeably thinner and sits higher than the other, throwing off the balance of my face. I left in tears. It took me so long to grow them back, and in a matter of minutes, all that progress was gone. Very poor service and communication. If a client says "clean up" and "I like them thick," it's your responsibility to clarify before making any drastic changes. I'm extremely disappointed and won't be returning. read more

Ushna is a threading-brow-henna artist and I was lucky to get her today. She threaded my low brow brows and made them high brow brows. And then painted my hand with henna for a reasonable price. Im happy they are so close and accessibly priced as these don't last. They have cryotherapy, lymph massage, mani pedis ans well as brows and henna tattoos even. Clean and hygienic I appreciated the confidence that it's safe. Small parking lot in front. They have two other venues as well. Walking welcome but I kinda let them know I was coming. Quality of the service is great, only reason I deducted stars is because I was waiting for 15 minutes (saw the beautician outside) and when she came in she attended someone else / let them skip in front of me and didn't even ask me what I was waiting for. I've gone multiple times but this is the first time it felt like my time or money wasn't valued. read more

I've started to come to Yodi for my mani/pedis, on top of my facial threading. They have a special Mon-Thurs for a regular mani/pedi for $28. I'm not that girly, so this is perfect for me. The nail techs have done a good job of shaping & cutting my nails just the way I want them (I hate any nails so I need them super short). I feel like they need to update their color selection (too many repeated colors, colors that seem kinda out of date). Overall, for the price, quality, service, and distance from me, Yodi shall continue to be my spot for monthly girly tune-ups. read more

I come to this specific location because they NEVER disappoint me when it comes to my brows. There's a Yodi about 7 min from my home, but I drive 25 min to this one because they're that good for my brows! Today I had a disappointing experience when I attempted to get a Gel pedicure. The brow esthetician told me to pick a color, in which I did. She then told the pedicurist (who was on her cell) that I was getting a gel pedi. The lady scoffed, looked at her watch (it was 6:10pm exactly) and said "GEL?" And started shaking her head and giving attitude because they closed at 7pm. I personally didn't expect to take a pedicure to take more than 45 min so I thought this to be reasonable time. I kindly said "it's fine. I can come back another time." I will only be returning for brows. This is not good customer service. read more

I just needed my eyebrows cleaned up (they are microbladed, so there isn't much to do) and my underarms waxed. The place is clean. Staff wears masks, hand sanitizer is available and they will check your temperature upon arrival. My services were great. Reasonable prices, especially during the pandemic. I would highly recommend it! As of now, they do not offer appointments for eyebrows, only walk-in service. Will definitely return when I am in the area. read more

Made an appointment for a pedicure a day in advance at Yodi threading spa in North Miami . When I got there I was told to pick a color and sit in the chair when the manicurist walked in Maria, she looked at the computer baffled she had an appointment and said why was appointment there she was on break. No one wanted to fix the situation give any recommendations or fix the matter and acted like I was an inconvenience to them. Very unprofessional . read more

I like getting my eyebrows threaded so moving from Cali I knew I had to find a place. A year later in Miami I found this place and it's nice but the employees don't say much and aren't trying to work to establish a bond because this is my 3 time here and I am a regular. Also, all the threading place I've been to usually offers hand lotion to relax you before the threading begins but here they do not. Also, I don't see the threading ladies wash their hands before or after they begin which is weird since I can smell your hands working above my nose. I want to tell Lina that her hands smell like meat but I think it's weird to ask them to wash them. And so far my best friend has not like the way they shape her brows so two stars taken away for that. They also do not use sanitizer after. read more

This has been my go-to salon for the past 3 years, but I may just have to look for a new one. I went in today to get my nails done, and mask enforcement was clearly not taken seriously by the employees. One technician was wearing her mask like a chin guard the whole time, while the others weren't covering their nose. I'm confused as to why they require a mask if it's not going to be worn properly. There was a client who didn't wear one at all and they seemed to not be bothered by it. There's no temperature check as a previous review has written. They also seemed to have let go of previous nail technicians and replace all of them, which I was sad about because I loved the old nail crew. They completely skipped the part where you wash your hands and they put lotion on and massage your hand. If I go back again, it'll only be to get my eyebrows done. Been coming to Yodi's for over 6 months now and I am very happy with the mani/pedi service and prices! Many salons in the area are pricey and are the typical factory style salons, not the case with Yodi's. I always use Janet or Odalys for mani/pedi service and my polish lasts for weeks! They run a special mon-thurs mani/pedi for $28 otherwise it's only $32. They are truly nail pro's!!!! The place is brand new, modern, and meticulously clean! They carry all new colors from Opi, Essie, and Zoya! I have not used their threading services or hair services only nails so I cannot judge those services. If the system had the option, I'd give this review zero stars thanks to Lina. They recommended this place and with Lina. This morning when I arrived she was on her cellphone and told me to wait. I waited for her for 10 minutes and I said "finally someone who's going to take care of me" she then said "no, another girl will take care of you" yet she wasn't even busy with any other client while the other girl was busy. make it make sense! I waited for the other girl while Lina just sat there on her cellphone. It seems very unprofessional to me that they have Lina there and wouldn't look at you in the face when you talk to her. Never again will I waste MY gas, MY time to this location and will definitely not recommend this place to anyone to be honest! Customer service is unacceptable. The salon offers cupons and they refuse to taken at the time of collecting payment. I was a ginea pig for the manicurist that messed up my nails twice, she tried to use dirty tools on my hands, I had to asked her to desinfect them, she couldnt work with her plastic gloves and her very long pointy nails, she kept messing up the nail polish, never clean the nails, no lotion on hands, my mani was unfinished, the pedi was worse, I question wheter she even went to a beauty school, I had to guide her while she worked. She always wears her mask offers hand sanitizer or has one readily available and checks my temperature. She's usually in the front to take care of these things for the store. Always clean she's always kind she never takes off too much hair on the contrary she'll leave where needed to even out which is fine cause I either color it in or get it tinted. I frequently get the offers for discounted mani-Pedis but have yet to use any other service. I like that I can give tips through Venmo since I almost never walk with cash. And when we got there they only took one of us and tell the other to wait, someone will be with him shortly. where do I start with these lowlifes. Paid $50 for a Manny Petty gel for my friend. In a matter of days it started peeling off. Neither one of us had ever seen anything like it so we called in & to our shock they said they would not be responsible. I asked for a manager and no one ever called me back. I called again and ask for a manager or an owner and again no one ever called me back. I called a third time... it's been a week and still nothing.
