This is one of my favorite spots in town. Rock solid consistent. Great drinks. Cool atmosphere. During special occasions and events they decorate the main lounge. Halloween is a must see. But every time has been amazing. The staff is super friendly. The drinks are great. The 'Garage' is the part that is mostly open and has a cool type of theme expected with the name. The burgers are great as is the short rib melt. I'm not a bit fry guy but I make an exception here. When I come down town this is one of my go to places. Stop in. The staff is awesome. Enjoy. I walked in I didnt even say a word and this disheveled woman was immediately confrontational. She rudely screamed I read your review with these crazy eyes. I KNOW YOUR NAME!! I believe she was drinking. I asked her what did I lie about in the review? She mumbled and HID; refusing to serve me. (See pic) Instead of just flat out refusing to serve me. This review is solely based on the food, no drinks were ordered. We were looking for a place to eat and just about everything was closed. We had a party of 4 and ended up ordering the coconut shrimp the mozzarella sticks one chicken and cheese burger, 2 mushroom and Swiss burgers and a bacon cheddar burger. Im not a burger fan but these burgers were delicious. There was no lettuce, tomatoes or onions but what ever they put in the meat made then delicious. The fries were also good.. lol. As a local business owner for more then 7 years and resident for 35 plus years. The food that they offer is not worth your wallet. I'd rather have any other fast food chain processed food for the same price that tastes just as similar. The only thing the place has going is the musicians they hire and that they have a liquor license. Stopped by for a drink Saturday night. Place was very busy but staff was great. Found out they do a Sunday brunch. Came back with friends for brunch and it was amazing. Bailey and staff were amazing. The drinks and food were awesome. Had the scallion tacos with scrambled eggs, avocado, and Chile sauce. It was so delicious. My orange creamsicle mimosa was tasty. Friends had the Bloody Marys and they loved them. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend stopping here for a cocktail,brunch, or anytime as I am sure their other food is amazing also. read more

This is a really cute bar with alfresco seating in the summer. We go to Milford, PA every July for several days around July 4th. This year Jive expanded their open-air seating, which is appreciated because of COVID-19. The place never seems to get too crowded and we appreciate that the bartenders have skills -- they know how to make mixed drinks! One night there was live entertainment, which was very good but not in your face. We never had a bad experience there -- it's well worth visiting if you are in the area. Pssst, the outdoor space is dog friendly -- we have a very well behaved pit bull who goes to the bar with us when we are visiting. The bartender always gives us water (without us asking). I'm in town for business. The folks that tend bar here are great. They've made me feel welcome where as most places in this town haven't. Such a refreshing lovely bar. The décor and staff were just outstanding, especially when it came to supporting our cause and our rights to be who we are, where we are, and whatever we are! There are not many Gay bars in this area but this one is a good one for us boys/girls from the city. The new management, gay friendly, supports us rather then the Deplorable townsfolk that live there but they are harmless and clueless as usual. The Jive Rocks because they accept everyone, except the local townsfolk, and Milford is changing. Come and support our pride and our loving acceptance of ALL genders! read more

Went there have some drinks with a few Friends and have a bit to eat. 1st the good the Place is very nice. Nice Upscale Small local bar atmosphere. The bartender was Very friendly. And the one friend that orders a Mixed drink said it was very good. Big Issue was when we ordered food, there were 5 of us, 4 of use chose the meatball parm sandwich (Described on the table menu as sliders), and one Pizza. It took over an hour for us to get our food, As far as I could tell we were the only patrons that had ordered food. The meatball parm "Sliders" which came on a small sub roll, were so so, meatballs had the taste and feel of Frozen Supermarket meatballs. When I asked my friend who ordered the Pizza how it was, her reply was "Ellios" They Also had karaoke when we were there which was somewhat amusing, and the patrons that were participating were having a good time. but sitting at the Far end of the Restaurant, it was a little bit on the loud site. I would say if you are looking for a place a with a nice atmosphere, Live Music (on weekends), but are not looking to eat. Jive is a nice place, but waiting over an hour for bar food is a big turn off read more

Good small bar! Lots of "local flavor".... Bartend was great when we first arrived attentive and great service unfortunately that didn't last. She disappeared for at least 20 minutes if not longer. I stopped in this bar while driving around the Delaware river. There was an awesome guitarist playing cover tunes that everyone largely ignored. I ordered a beer and the bartender asked me what I wanted while texting somebody. I hesitated as if to say "Hello, I'm a customer here!" and she asked again without looking up. I ordered a draft and she went to get the beer the entire time not looking up from her phone. She actually took a moment to respond to a text before pouring the beer! What has happened to customer service? I wanted another beer but no one was behind the bar because they were outside smoking and texting people. Such a shame. I wish I could give this pace 5 stars for live music and 1 star for the service. With the right staff this place could be an awesome choice in Milford for live music and a beer. read more

As other reviewers have said, the bartender couldn't have cared less that we were there, and there were only a few people in the place. The drinks were tiny and/or watery, and the prices were outrageous. I don't know what crowd they're trying to attract, but six people total on a Saturday night tells you something. read more

My friends and I were so excited when the Jive opened because it seemed like it would be a cute place to go for a girls night and to order a few martinis and relax.. The last 2 times we were there, last Friday being one of them, we were not even acknowledged as we entered the bar.. We were the only people in the place the one time.. That time, we set there for about 5 minutes, while the bartender chatted with who appeared to be her boyfriend at the bar.. She never once said hi to us or mentioned that we should order at the bar.. We got up and walked out without a peep from her. Last week while there, 3 bartender were working. All 3 looked like they would rather be anywhere else, and once again no one acknowledged us. One girl was even bartending in a sweatshirt, which my friends and I felt was very unprofessional.. I was there with 6 people.. We all would have ordered apps or had more drinks if we would have felt more welcome. It's a shame.. my friends and i saw so much potential in this beautifully redone bar, it's unfortunate that it took such a different route than we thought it would.. read more
