We stopped in here after Iron Bar, and it was a world of a difference. (Granted it was a week night) We had a great time!!!! The drinks were delicious, the vibe was amazing, the bartender was so nice, and the live music was fun! Def one of our new fav go-to places.

Something tells me this isn't a laundromat

By the line to get in, you could tell this isn't a laundromat, it's a speakeasy. I think it might have been cool if they had real washer and driers so I could've done a load while we were here. The place was big inside with plenty of tables and a few different bar areas. I had a couple captain n' cokes. They were good. They were a little overpriced but this is Morristown. It wasn't difficult to get the bartenders attention for a drink, that's a plus. There was a live band and they rocked. I was shocked at how many people were out maskless in public. If you're vaccinated and looking to get out for a drink in the Morristown area, check it out.

This was a fun speakeasy to go to in Morristown. As the name says it was a laundromat and you enter through the back laundry machines. You wouldn't even expect the place you're walking in to, it's so huge and gives off very southern vibes. As you head downstairs it expands to a large bar. The drinks were great and there was a live band so it was overall a fun time!

Great place for some live music on a Saturday night. They also have a DJ after the bands play. Overall, nice environment. Their cocktails are super watered down though.

Ableist. My sister came here the other night. She is in a wheelchair and the bouncers refused to see if the elevator was working. My sisters friends had to carry her down two flights of stairs. (Which is dangerous). When she got inside, someone who worked there said that the elevator is working. When my sister left the bar she told the bouncers and they said that it's not their job to see if the elevator works and that they don't care. I hope management deals with this situation accordingly. I attached pictures of the bouncers to this review.

I love this speakeasy style bar hidden beneath a laundromat! The entrance is so cool and the bouncer was so friendly. Once you go behind the laundry you'll find stairs descending into a beautiful bar with live music and creative cocktails. I was surprised how busy it was early on Sat evening. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

A friend of mine visited this establishment early last month. She is a wheelchair user and asked the bouncers for accommodations to travel downstairs. The bouncers told her the elevator wasn't working and refused to check as it's "not their job." As someone working with customers, it IS your job to provide safe and accessible resources for people with disabilities to be included. Instead of checking the elevator the bouncers had someone CARRY my friend down 2 flights of stairs. This is dangerous and unnecessary for all parties involved. Once she reached the other floor she was informed by another staff member that the elevator WAS in fact working. Ablism is disgusting and completely unacceptable. In 2023 we all should be more aware of different populations of people and attempt to accommodate them when we can. Your pathetic apology is not helping anything. Do better and hire better employees. I included pictures of the bouncers in question and the business's "apology"

As soon as you walk in!

Ask the Community - The Laundromat

Are you busy on Thursdays? Is it a mixed crowd or mainly younger crowd?

I believe I went on a Thursday and it wasn't too crowded but it wasn't empty. It was also a mixed crowed ranging from mid to late 20s up to 50s (if I were to take a guess)

    Open or closed on Wednesdays?

    open

    Do you sell food?

    No food at The Laundromat

I'm flying in from Honolulu 23rd March and wondering if anything is going on?

The space on the first floor is divided into a lively bar area with plenty of TVs and a slightly quieter main dining room with comfortable booths and tables. There is also seating on an outdoor terrace on the second floor and a few tables in front of the restaurant on South Street if you're up for dining al fresco. It's a terrific option in Morristown that's sophisticated enough for a date on the outdoor terrace when the weather cooperates or a pre-theater meal in the dining room, yet casual enough for beers and appetizers while watching a game in the bar area. The menu captures the essence of modern American comfort food. Whether you're grabbing the Stirling Burger ($18) -- made from a tasty short rib and brisket blend -- or splurging on the Grilled New York Strip ($48) topped with crabmeat fries, the quality is evident. They are also great with dietary restrictions. Between the various poultry, fish, and vegetarian options on the menu and the kitchen's willingness to make moderate accommodations in any other dish, there's something for everyone. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the service. We recently celebrated my niece's 21st birthday here, and our server made it memorable by honoring her milestone birthday by playfully asking for her ID EVERY SINGLE TIME she ordered a drink. It became a running joke for the night and made the occasion feel extra special. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars for me is that both sides of the main floor can get pretty loud when it's packed and the prices are a bit on the higher side for casual dining. We will definitely be back! PRO TIP #1: Stirling Tavern offers a Happy Hour Monday through Friday between 3pm and 6pm, which features specials on certain cocktails, wines, beers, and light snacks. You must be seated at the bar to take advantage of the promotional pricing. If you enjoy a good Old Fashioned, try the JB ($10), made with Four Roses bourbon, blood orange amaro, orange & angostura bitters. PRO TIP #2: Stirling Tavern does not have a private parking lot, but there is plenty of paid on-street parking on South Street or Maple Avenue. Bring change or use the ParkMobile app for the meters ($1 per hour) Monday through Saturday from 8am til 6PM; all street meters are free Monday through Saturday after 6pm and all day on Sunday. If you can't find a spot on the street, paid parking is also available in the Morristown Parking Authority Lot #8 (@ 10 Franklin Street) and Vail Parking Area (@ 110 South Street). FREE on-street parking is located on MacCulloch Avenue, just two blocks from Stirling Tavern.

With its rich history dating back to 1937, this establishment has transformed from a movie theater into a vibrant hub for performing arts boasting an assortment of exciting events year-round that features everything from in-person concerts and comedy shows to livestreams and virtual events. Walking through its doors feels like stepping into another world--one filled with anticipation and excitement. My partner and I were lucky to obtain tickets via an online market reseller (the Tickets Center) at Left Orchestra, row P, for last night's performance of Riverdance 30. Upon entering this warm and inviting venue as first-timers with an orchestra and the balcony section, we were greeted by the staff and waited for the doors to open 30 minutes before the start of the show. The bar on the main floor had alcohol, soda, chips, and other light snacks. Our cushiony seats were comfortable, providing a clear view of the stage and a great sound system. The show was a fusion of traditional and contemporary Irish as well as international dance. The music is choreographed with stunning costumes and cutting-edge visuals, bringing its magic to audiences. Prices were comparable to the area and artist. Parking was offered via the online market reseller, and I purchased it. The location was a 15 min walk, and we were okay with that. It was so easy to enter and exit without the congestion. However, the QR scan ticket provided by them was not able to be scanned at the destined location machine. As a result, I had to pay twice. When communicating with this reseller, they refused to refund, as it was a final sale. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great night out by contacting directly the Mayo PAC and not Tickets-Center.

We attend NJSO concerts, but this was our first time seeing the New Jersey Ballet. The entire experience at Mayo was wonderful. We drove into Morristown and parked at one of the nearby municipal lots. Going through security went alright and ticket scanning went without a hitch. It was a packed house and very crowded. Ushers helped us find our seats in row J, where we had a good view of the stage. Seats were comfortable, too. The show was about two hours with a 20 minute intermission. There are concessions on both the first and second floor. It was a cold night, so we bought hot drinks to warm up before the show - a $3 hot tea for him and my $6 "snow queen special" hot cocoa (it was worth the $). People working at concessions on the 1st floor were nice and kept it moving. With this kind of performance, the orchestra was in the pit and the dancers were on the stage. MPAC's space has good acoustics. The stage sets and lighting design exceeded any expectations I may have had. Photography and video recording is prohibited during performances, and it appeared from my seat that audience members complied. The Nutcracker was fantastic! It won over two grinches like us last night; we both said how we should go again if it runs at MPAC next year. MPAC surpassed any expectations we had last evening and we hope to see other acts/shows during the 25/26 season (and recommend you do also).
