Came here to see about getting my necklace repaired. I needed a new clasp. The friendly woman behind the counter gave me options for the replacement. I picked the least expensive option. I called JJ Jeweler and spoke with Donna. I inquired how much it would cost to adjust a watchband. She estimated $14.00. I agreed to see her to fix the watch. The Jeweler store was very clean and nice looking. Donna welcomed us in and made the easy adjustments and did not charge for it. It was an easy fix. It seems to a family own store. Donna's husband seemed nice too. It's a great place to shop for any jewelry and to get customer service. read more

I brought my watch in need of repair to J J Jeweler only because my Apple GPS told me it was the closest watch repair shop in Oceanside. Little did I know of the great surprise in store for me at JJ Jewelry, who sell and repair jewelry along with watch repair. They were headed by Jet and Nari, along with their son, Eddie. They were the kindest, friendiest, personable and efficient people you would ever want to meet! Jet fixed the minor peroblem on my watchband in about 1 minute time and when I asked him how much I owed him, he replied ,"nothing" I couldn't have been happier to know that there are still businesses out there who practice great customer service without charging for any small thing! I said to myself, this is where I will bring all of our families needs for jewelry sales, service and watch repair service as well. We have already come back a few times for various needs that required their service and were always charged a fair price and walked away with a smile on our faces every! My engagement ring had a bent prong. I gave JJ Jeweler a call and was told to come by at my convenience. They were highly personable, and explained my options and what their recommendations were. I ended up having all four prongs re-done as I've always had an issue with my center stone coming loose (other jewelers have told me this will always happen). Other jewelers also take 2-4 weeks to do things... I got my ring back in 24 hours and it is BEAUTIFUL and sturdier than ever. Not to mention the price paid for this was so reasonable. I called to check on availability and time needed to change a battery in my watch. They asked me to bring it in. 20 minutes later I'm walking out with my watch ticking! what a cute little gem in Oceanside! I came in about 40 minutes before closing because I noticed my watch wasn't working. I called ahead of time to see if they'd be able to replace the battery and they took me right away. there is plenty of parking in front of the building. they also saw some jewelry there too. For my repair, it cost about $15 which was done in less than 10 minutes, which was perfect for me. The man helping me even polished my watch for me. read more

Such nice people. I'd lost a stone in one of my favorite rings and took it to another jeweler who wanted to reset the entire ring for a very large sum of money. Took my ring into JJ's and they were able to not only set a new stone in my ring but also checked all of the other stones and secured them for a very reasonable price. I will return for sure. I had been going to Famulare for a decade, and had many pieces worked on or created here. I had dropped off two watches my husband inherited from his late brother, they were sentimental, and I had also dropped off a ring that I needed a stone reset in. I commute and would have needed to pickup in one trip on a weekend. A woman working called because the watches were done, and she wanted them picked up immediately during the week even though my ring wasn't ready. I called to tell her I commute, and can't come during their business hours. She was very agitated and said they can't hold the watches in their safe until the ring was completed and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable with not being able to pickup like they wouldn't hold my watches safely. I asked over two or three calls to pickup my order on the weekend which she pressured me to come during the week despite not even being able to get there in time. It's almost like she wanted me to take time off work which was outlandish. When I made it there a couple of days later, thank god my ring was done and I could leave and never return. Although the other staff was apologetic, I told them what damage her behavior did and that I don't think I would return knowing they don't value the customer's time or even make the customer feel like our valuables were being kept safe. Not sure if I will return, they comped my fee which I didn't ask for but I am not sure I would bring anything else in. It's a shame. Ten years and I'd referred people and one person soured my experience.

Days later I could barely use my phone. It was super dark. Couldn't see when outside. My phone would jump from screen to screen.... Brought back in and didn't have a new screen in stock so had to wait... ok no prob. Was supposed to call. Never did! Walked in and he "hopefully fixed" it now.., guess we'll see. Very frustrating situation though. I'll go elsewhere next time Also... he fixed my son's phone and now to turn off the phone button or turn it higher won't work. He wouldn't fix it. Thanks. The phone turns off randomly at full charge which didn't before even with a broken screen "before the repair" backglass had glue sticking out terrible job. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Due to another fact a ps5 was taken in for a hdmi port replacement which gave us an estimated absurd amount of between $130-170 payed extra which led up to $205 with taxes to get it so call refurbished. Which mean thoroughly cleaned and replacement of thermo paste. Got it back dusty. The fan was filled with debre. And I don't think the put in a new thermo paste because the ps5 heat up above 70 degrees instead of 60 and under if a new thermo paste was added. Poor service after all since I payed $205 just for a single hdmi port to be replaced

JJ Jeweler is a hidden gem in Oceanside! If you have found them look no further, they do amazing work! JJ is a master craftsman with a true passion for making your luxury jewelry feel brand new. I brought my rings and earrings to them for some much needed work and now they all sparkle like new. I haven't worn my wedding set for 10+ years and finally decided to get it resized so I could wear it. I picked JJ Jeweler based on it's excellent reviews and I picked a winner! Mr Jang told me in detail what he would have to do to increase the size of my 3 rings. He tested each diamond to confirm they were diamonds when I dropped them off and when I picked them up. This is my first time at JJ Jeweler, but I was very impressed by the quality of their work. I came in to have a my new watch adjusted to fit my wrist, and the adjustment was completed pretty quickly overall. I now love how my watch fits securely in my wrist and no longer hangs there loosely. The business owners here are friendly, polite, and seem to be going the extra mile for their customers.
