So many positive things to say! I live that we now have a Korean option owned by true Koreans who can cook! We have now been twice so this will be lengthy. Out first visit we chose the original Korean BBQ. While a bit pricey, there is unlimited choices to your proteins. We tried both chicken (marinated and spicy) marinated rib eye, brisket, pork belly and shaved pork belly as well as the spicy tenderloin. My favorites were the shaved pork belly, brisket and marinated ribeye. Hubby agreed but Ike's the thick pork belly instead. For whatever reason, we weren't able to order the prawns or squid . This is served with traditional banchan which is a selection of marinated veggies some with kimchi spices and unlimited white rice. We also were offered an egg soufflé mmm so good and a side of okausu which is mozzarella corn on a sizzling plate! So GOOD! We loved it so much that when our son visited 3 weeks later we returned. This time ordering off the menu. I had the Godeungeor Gui (named after the wife!) it is a beautifully lightly fried whole mackerel. I know we Ku e on Lakr Sinclair but this is Hands Down my pick for fresh seafood here. There I said it, best fried fish on the lake! Hubby had beef bulgogi, tender juicy and a healthy portion. Our son had the spicy squid and pork belly, a very unique combination. We also split the harmful patron or seafood pancake! An instant hit and favorite. Outside of the food, attached next door is a quaint Korean store with unique options. You can also buy beer here and drink in the restaurant if you so desire. Check this place out soon. We need to keep them busy!

We were really impressed with JK Korean BBQ in downtown Milledgeville GA. It was the best Korean BBQ we have had. Owner YonSun was an excellent server - she was very attentive, conversational, and helped us grill our food perfectly! She is really awesome and made our meal especially exceptional. We were also happy to see the 100 health score from March 2023 as we walked in. The restaurant was immaculate and tastefully decorated. The grills themselves were very new and cooked beautifully. The owner Jung Kim escorted us to our table, explained what was gluten free, and helped us make the best choices. All meat and sides were fresh and delicious. Bulgogi was the family favorite although not gluten free.

The service was so Great!!! The owner was taking care of every one as far as the orders. The owner came over and talk to is. The food was very good . The ambiance was quiet and not that busy. If you go with a big group you need to be patient. Especially if you order a lot of meats. The over all experience was 5. Go support if your in milledgeville.

What a wonderful person the owner is. She is so nice! The restaurant is attractive and the food is delicious. We ordered off the lunch menu and really enjoyed our lunch. If we lived in Milledgeville, we would be locals here! Thank you JK Korean.

ETA: the owner reached out to me within hours. He was very apologetic and offered no excuses. He personally invited me to come again. I am changing my one star to three. I will update again once I actually dine here. I really appreciated the owner caring enough to message me. I really wish I COULD review this place. I have been hearing how delicious it is. I was excited to be in the area and finally get to try it. I stopped in for an early dinner. No one was up front, but I stood around a few minutes. I then went to the restroom and looked around some more. I then called using my phone to attempt to get someone's attention. No answer. I went out to my car and called again. Still no answer. I'm sure I saw someone back in the kitchen, but couldn't get his attention over the music. I was really looking forward to eating here. It was a big disappointment. Maybe next time.

This place has just about the best Asian food I've ever eaten I'd never heard of glass noodles and then I tried them today and they R worth countless amounts of stars

    Bibimbap

I am so excited to have a Korean restaurant nearby! First time here I had the bibimbap in the hot stone bowl, and it was so yummy! I can't wait to go back and try the BBQ. The owner is very nice, and the restaurant is very clean.

The price with small portions and not exactly traditional with too much sugar in the food. The spicy beef soup was actually very good and the Kim bop was also tasty but I thought it should have a little meat in it. It was OK but when I asked for a replacement egg for the beep and my daughter ordered. I was told I would be charged for the extra egg due to an egg shortage. I don't mind paying for extras, but I don't think they should have over fried the egg on a beeping box dish. The egg yolk should be runny to where you mix it into the rice and the meat and the vegetables, mix it all together. you get five items with your dishes for three people. All in all the price to me was not quite worth what I was getting and the restaurant which is kind of usual for a Korean restaurant, was in an old building that was painted all red inside with red boot to match. My table of four had one hibachi dish and the Unsinkable 1 sushi boat, which had a variety of sushi, some sashimi, two tempura shrimp, and curly radish noodles on leafs. It was very attractive and satisfying. I had hot tea, which was nothing special: just a tea bag of green tea in a plastic mug. The restaurant could improve the presentation on that. One tv was showing music videos with the sound off. Another tv was playing anime with English subtitles. The walls were covered in hand painted sushi art and posters of many kinds. The broth was very salty and the spinach tasted odd. I am still perplexed as to why they call it vegan but it comes with an egg, maybe that's the Dirty part. Santa Fe eggrolls 8/10 "Three crispy egg rolls stuffed with seasoned chicken, sweet corn, melted cheeses, and peppers. Served with our smoky chipotle ranch for dipping." - Good flavor. One of the egg rolls was completely empty. Also nowhere in this description does it say black beans but there was black beans in them- won't order again because of this. Grown-Up Dilla 7/10 "A golden grilled flour tortilla stuffed with a blend of jack and cheddar cheeses, fire-roasted jalapeños, roasted corn medley, and tender grilled chicken. Dipping sauce we chose was the Chipotle ranch- yum, and a none-to-mild spice level! What would make it a 10: more chicken, no beans. Super upset that everything I ordered had black beans in it and NOWHERE in the menu descriptions said that there was black beans in ANYTHING. Stopped by Seoul Korean Kitchen the other day to try their Jjajangmyeon and kimchi jjigae…read more Banchan 3.5/5: The kimchi was pretty standard, similar to what you would get from a decent brand at H mart. The bean sprouts were a bit salty. Chili cucumber was well seasoned and refreshing, and the sliced fish cake was the highlight with a slight sweet and sesame oil flavor. Each dish supposedly comes with a banchan, but if you eat with another person, then you get 1 set of banchan only with 1 refill and additional refills cost $2.50 which was different from most cities I have been to with a more established asian food scene (Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, etc). jjajangmyeon 4/5: The jjajangmyeon had decent portions. The noodles were really nice and chewy, and the sauce on top had a slight sweetness to it that made it different from the chinese jiajiang mian I normally eat. There were plenty of zucchini and onion pieces, and the pork was tender and just a bit fatty which I enjoyed. Highlight of the meal. Kimchi Jjigae 3/5: The kimchi jjigae comes with kimchi, tofu, and pork pieces in a stew and a side of rice. The stew itself comes out piping hot but is almost 90% kimchi and minimal tofu and pork. Very few pieces of tofu and pork, unlike the jjajangmyeon which had more generous amounts of pork. The rice bowl it comes with is quite small. We ran out well before the kimchi stew was completed, and they charge $2 for rice refills. Overall, the food was decent and service is solid. Pricing was slightly steep with a bowl of jjajangmyeon (noodles with stir fry pork sauce overlying) running at $19 and a bowl of mostly kimchi and a few pieces of tofu/pork pieces costing $17. Their banchan/rice refill policy is questionable, but the food scratches the itch in a city with a smaller Korean population and minimal competition.
