Just walked out of this salon with my fills half complete…read more I have been going to this salon for years but today the owner, John got upset with me because I asked for some new nail polish colors. I have mentioned their color selection was not the greatest in previous appointments. I tip very well and also get pedicures from John's wife. I also have anxiety over the drill, I trusted John so I continued to go to this salon despite their color selection. Once I brought my own nail polish for a pedicure and I was told I had to use their polish, so I never brought in my own polish again. Today, I mentioned I would like some new colors and John blew up at me...he began saying "we have over 1,000 colors to choose from and you can't find one I like". I pointed out to him the green, yellow and oranges bright colors are not my cup of tea. The argument escalated...I told John I had previously brought in my own color and was told I had to use their color. John basically called me a liar because I could not remember which girl had told me this. In all honesty, my nails never looked that great anyway. My cuticles were always very dry, he never used cuticle oil and my nails were not the same length. Also, many times, including today,I had to wait for 20 -30 minutes despite having an appointment. I told John to cancel my pedicure with his wife for today due to how he was treating me. John relayed the message but not in English so who knows what he said.

Unfortunately, Monday was NYD, so I called on each day that week, trying to reach someone. Nobody answered each time I called, it was frustrating! By day 5, I had three nails that had chipped paint and two more that had very tiny chips in the corner of my nails. I've never had such a horrible experience with gel polish in my life.
