First time eating here tonight, we were greeted immediately and sat by our preference (booth) We ordered some super icey Coke zeros (had too much fun on Saturday night, needed that Coke Zero to be super cold lol) and our server was like "yep I got you" and she brought out two big cups of iced up Coke Zero. Love her for that. Had fried mushrooms as an app, came automatically with two sides of ranch (as it should), they were fresh, hot and delicious. My husband got the Hot Stuff burger, I got a classic cheeseburger with no tomato extra onion, came out fresh and hot. Decided to try out Andy's after hearing a lot about their burgers. We ordered the Hot Stuff and the Fat Boy burgers. The best thing about these burgers are the buns. They're soft and fluffy with a little sweetness to them. The burger altogether though was an average burger. We were so disappointed when Andy's Kitchen closed in Fairfield We would go every single week for a delicious hamburger and we were really craving a hamburger so we went to Andy's Grill on Highway 290 .... the hamburger did not taste anything like the hamburgers from Andy's kitchen it wasn't seasoned very well super disappointed also, the french fries fries are different and the onion rings probably not cooked in oil that was hot enough because all the batter fell off. The burger's meat had no flavor, and the bread was sweet, but the fries were seasoned well. They offer just your typical beers. The service was not okay. She was more attentive to the group of people who were taking shots and drinking beers. We were never offered a refill on our beers or even asked about our burgers. The ambiance was crazy loud. It is my first time in this area and I was looking for something eye catching American eatery and Andy's bar and grill was it. First of all the establishment has a warm sports theme. The decor and ambiance enlightens all ages. I'm giving a shout out to Mariah. She was attentive, a great conversationalist and could recommend great sounding food items. Even the management came by to make sure the table was feeling at home. You guys are doing the right thing and should be complimented on doing so. I ordered the loaded fries and let me tell you. Fresh fries, warm queso, pulled pork with savory bbq sauce it's a burst of flavor. The wacky burger was cooked to my temp perfectly. The toasted sourdough works wonders. The burger itself with the char broil flavor completes the flavor package. Overall I give this establishment a 5 out of 5 would return. The waiter was very friendly and attentive, but the food was not great. The ranch was as thin as water, and just white. I don't know if they forgot the seasoning or if it's always like that the grilled chicken was flavorful and juicy. The burger and Cajun pasta lacked seasoning. Okay I was going to wait on writing this review because when I made my first visit it was during a soft opening. Instead I will go ahead and publish this with a 4 star rating for now and update accordingly as I prepare to go back and visit again soon. I will say that Andy is loved in the community as a very pleasant restauranteur. There is no doubt that his venture into the bar industry will be as successful as Andy's Kitchen further up the street from this place. Based on my recent experience with the service and hospitality alone I can give it 4 stars even without mentioning food. On my visit they were still putting together the cocktail menu so I wasn't able to try one of their own to make them famous for. However the bartenders were nice and happy to make any drink I ordered. I was very impressed with the Old Fashion that I ordered again, again and then again. If I remember the bartenders name right then make sure to ask for Carlos if you want to try the perfect Old Fashion like I did. I was able to try the chicken fried steak which at the time was off menu on the soft opening. It was clearly hand made yet lacked a bit of seasoning but I will write that off to the training during soft opening. I will try again and update accordingly. I also tried the buffalo wings that were also off menu. They did not have them as spicy as I like mine at the time so again, I will try again to see if I can get them a bit spicier and extra crispy. The bar is very nice and the staff and guest were very friendly. They have a touch tone juke box that I enjoyed playing but at the time I was there it wasn't synced to where when you play a song that whatever was playing in the background would cease to play. I expect it to be adjusted better after the grand opening. It was a bit weird listening to 2 songs at the same time but I get it... Soft opening thing again I guess. They do also have a roster of bands that are scheduled to place there soon. I look forward to that as well as some good karaoke nights. From my understanding they intend to stay open till 2AM on weekend nights with street tacos available during those late night evenings. Went today and had a burger and the chips and salsa/queso. Service was good and things came out fast. Went just after 11 and only 2-3 tables filled. Food: our table had the following: burger, fries, kids tenders, Salisbury steak, chips and queso. The chips and salsa was actually great and I'd get this again. The burger and Salisbury steak were frozen Pattie's and nothing special. The mashed potatoes were instant. The salad had lots of old lettuce and was nearly frozen. The chicken tenders tasted like burned flour smells. Prices: were a bit higher than expected and much higher than the quality deserved. Service: our waitress was great. She was kind, attentive, and simply remembered everything. Summary: prices need to be either lowered to match food quality or food quality increased to match prices. A $15.99 burger should not be frozen. Five guys serves fresh fries, why don't you? Will I be back? Eh... maybe for a drink and chips and queso. read more

We came early on a Saturday and it wasn't crowded at all. Very small place, they have TV's everywhere. The prices are great, nothing felt overpriced. We started with the chips and queso and it was fine. I had the buffalo chicken wrap and it was tasty. The portions weren't too small or too large. Burger is excellent- very tasty seasoned beef on a super yummy pillowy type bun- almost like a potato roll or brioche- just outstanding. The space is smaller than it looks- lots of mirrors on one wall is deceptive! The bar service when we come is always friendly but comically slow/inattentive/unprofessional. We prefer to eat at the bar so we only come in when we have plenty of time to be there as we've waited as long as 30 minutes just to be acknowledged. The bartender literally was just gone- and the servers didn't seem to notice as they were busy talking to one another or on their cell phones. Great little neighborhood bar and grill, just as good as Andy's Kitchen but bigger. One suggestion, hire folks that act professional when Andy isn't there watching. Tonight five minutes after Andy walked out of the front door to chat with patrons, the bar tender killed a bug on the floor in the back dining area and started chasing the waitress around the restaurant with it smashed in a napkin. First time to visit Andy's Bar & Grill. I have been to Andy's Kitchen and always liked the food. We started with the pretzel balls and they forgot one of the sauces. Then we had no napkins, silverware or appetizer plates. For entrees we had the Pulled Pork and the Cajun Pasta with grilled veggies. Both entrees were very good! We also had the kids Chicken Tenders and they were yummy. I give 4 stars because the juke box was very loud. We had a hard time having a conversation at our table. We asked to have it turned down but it never was. Eventually it stopped. I'm all for loud music at a bar or even after the kitchen closes.
