Approximately at 11am on Columbus Day 2018 while driving south on Hollis St in Framingham as we came to Winthrop St, a commercial van decided skip the stop sign and proceeded to take a left on Hollis. This isn't a story of how our windshield broke and called JN Phillips to save the day.... it's about the driver of the van when my other half motioned with a what the heck are you doing and the driver of the van motioned with a middle finger and proceeded to tear across the intersection and almost out of our sight. I did however get a glance of the van advertising of JN Phillips Auto Glass. We called the local JN Phillips Auto Glass immediately to report a road raging, bird flipping, and glass fixing masshole who almost ran us off the road, and was transferred to the managers voicemail. No immediate response... means we had to publicly shame this company. Yelped, Google Guided, Facebook Ad Hijacked... check check and check. Should have called us back quickly and apologized... maybe next time you will. read more

This was an absolute no-brainer. I was a little bit scared by their low reviews, but when I called them they were super nice, gave me a convenient time,m and no hassles. When I drop the car off they said I was going to have it back within an hour and a half, and it was done in one hour. Could not ask for anything more. read more

The seal was not done correctly and under warranty. The first time they never called me back. Went through corporate again, scheduled an appointment and they never showed up. Called corporate again they finally dispatched someone. I would use JN as I never had a problem with them before. Just NEVER the one in Framingham. BTW, service in Arlington was excellent. read more

Scheduled JN Phillips to come to my house on 12/26 to repair windshield and replace wipers. I drove to work (in Boston) on Thursday (12/27). When driving home, I turned on the wipers and found out they were not installed correctly and were not working. I had to take them to my mechanic to replace them ($35). Took the train to work on Friday, but got into my car that evening to go to the gym. It had rained that day, and I sat in a puddle. The windshield was leaking. The driver side seat was soaked, and there were beads of water dripping from the ceiling. I called Saturday morning, and I was told they might not have an appointment. It took a couple of minutes to get something in Framingham, and I was told the get there as soon as I could. No apology was offered for the poor service I received on Wednesday. When I got there and explained about the wipers, I was told three times I had to speak to the Manager who wasn't there. Again, no apology. When I went to pick up the car and asked about vacuuming the seat or doing something about the interior, I was told they didn't have a wet vac. Again, no apology. My wife had a similar experience, although not as bad as this one, Needless to say, I would not recommend ever using JN Phillips. read more

This company is a joke. Customer service is non existent. I had a windshield "repaired" and the tech never put on weather stripping around the windshield. It had rained and now there is water damage inside the car. When we called multiple times they first said they never were told about it....the Woburn office supposedly where the corporate office is located would not listen and kept transferring my call back to Framingham. Horrible experience. Took 4 appointments to replace my windshield. They kept showing up with wrong parts or tools. Wasted my time waiting for them with their 4 hour appointment time frames. Then went to the shop final time and tech was extremely rude and argued with me about adjusting my windshield wipers that they messed up on a prior visit. I didn't even pay for this repair but I would never use or recommend this place again. read more

I found the website well set up for customer self service. Easy to use and good follow up. The technician arrived on the appointment day and did the installation, however, I had ordered (and left a check) for wiper blades installation. He left me a note that he had forgotten to bring them and would come be at a later date to install them. The real problem I have is that he left a filthy, black, dirty mess on my dashboard!! NO CLEAN UP. WHAT????? I called the dispatching shop to speak the manager. The manager was off, but Denise returned my call promptly and offered to send a technician back out to clean up 4 days later as it is a holiday weekend. Obviously, an unacceptable solution. When I pointed that out, she offered to have the wiper blades installed at my convenience at a later date. I found that to be an acceptable compensation. The bottom line, however, is that leaving a filthy dashboard is unacceptable and unprofessional. I would not use them again. The last thing I wanted to come home to was more work. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION TO REPAIR YOUR WINDSHIELD! My only experience with J N Phillips was at the location in Framingham and I will never go through J N Phillips again. Their first attempt, the corner of the windshield had a half inch gap where wind whistled through. Their second attempt, the new windshield they put in cracked immediately before I drove it AND they destroyed my car in the process. Scratched my dash, got black goo everywhere inside and outside of the car, bent some panel on the exterior... When I confronted them in person, the manager treated me like an annoyance, said he wanted to 'make me happy', tried to set up a third attempt to fix it and didn't even bother going to look at the damage... Two times I made an appointment to have my windshield replaced. I've used Phillips for 25+ years. Boy, have they gone downhill. On the second appointment when I gave up 3 hours pay to make the appointment and was told I hadn't confirmed the meeting and no windshield was there, I wondered if the person making the appointment wanted to show me what happens when you express dismay with their service. Very unhappy with my experience here. Made an appointment & had to reschedule.. Waited from 10-2 for someone to show up and the woman I had spoken to neglected to put my appointment into their schedule even though I was told that she had put me into the system. Awful customer service. read more

I have always had my car windshields replaced at my local glass company because I wanted to support the smaller business. A golfball recently broke the rear window of my BMW. My local glass place stated that they were booked for 2 weeks.( last time they repaired my Jeep, there were glass shards in the car when they returned it to me). My insurance agent mentioned JNPhillips. I could not be more pleased with the entire process. It was easy to schedule, they were on time, came to my house, and the technician was extremely professional. I am thrilled and highly recommend this company. Don't bother with JN Phillips in Framingham to replace your windshield. You might as well replace it yourself. I scheduled an appt and they called me to say that I need to reschedule the appt because technician was not in. That was ok with me so I rescheduled for another day. The second appt was a NO SHOW. I was so mad. I called twice and each time the rep said that the technician would call me. He never called. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. The rep didn't apologize when I called the second time. She just kept saying that the tech would call me. YAH RIGHT. So I canceled the appt. NEVER EVER go there. Trust me. I wish I had read the reviews before I scheduled the appointment. I agree -- do not use this company at least in Framingham facility.Windshield strip ripped apart on highway. The glass also broke after 2 years on its own. No sign of foreign material being hit. It seems they use cheap material so that folks keep coming to them. Not me. I wouldn't take that chance with windshield. It is dangerous on highway. read more

can i make it zero stars???????? completely wrecked my car!!!!!! mud everywhere, primer on the dashboard, dents! never go here! along with horrific service and thanks it wont come off! do yourself a favor and never come to there! even the manager does'nt care! i would not be writing this review if he would have just fixed it! im disgusted by the way i was treated! my day is completely ruined now! all thanks to the awful dumpster called j n phillips trash, oh sorry, auto glass!!!!! terrible!!!!!!!
