Three Strikes, they are OUT! Strike 1:Trying to obtain an appointment and they didn't have anyone available for a week to come to my location (Framingham, seriously?). Strike 2: Then the windshield replacement company that comes to your home/office to replace windshields does not plan in case of too much sun or possible rain (they don't bring a portable tent to any job and require you have a garage or cover). Strike 3: Rearrange my schedule for their expected time of arrival to replace windshield (8AM-12) and they show up late at 1:14PM. OH, Strike 4: Not raining or too sunny but won't replace the glass because it might rain in the afternoon, hours after the appointment (they would have been done and gone without incident). I requested a glass shattered replacement for my 2025 toyota lease, first time they came and installed an aftermarket glass and left a lot of shatteredglas insidethe door make noises, door trim was damage trying to get it out, with on a lease you can't have it otherwise you'll pay for it when returning, so called and for 2 time and the same happened, aftermarket glass, 3 time they came out and aftermarket glass but on the same day the technician went back for the OEM and installed. But... the shattered glass was not removed, the door trim was replaced but the door trim panel was damaged and Not correctly installed, got tired of having to call and deal with probably the same situations so I done it myself. Check the pictures and will not use this company again!! Just regrets. read more

I will never use this company again. When I brought my car in for my scheduled appointment, the windshield they had ready to install was already scratched, so we rescheduled for the next week when they could order another one. Then this got pushed off 2 more days due to shipping delays. When I brought the car back in and decided to wait in the shop for the repair, it took over two hours to get the window installed and they were having trouble with the calibration. The manager told me about this problem, but offered no solution. While they were trying to figure this out, the windshield spontaneously cracked while it was on the car. I wasted 3 hours of my day for nothing. So then they had to try a THIRD time, but had to do it a week later to allow the BROKEN windshield to dry first. This was a used car that I purchased and needed to have quickly repaired so it could get inspected within 7 days of registration. It's now going on 3 weeks, so I've had to basically drive it illegally because of Safelite's failures. The car is in for the third attempt now, and I hope it's going OK, but it's completely impossible to reach the actual shop when you call the phone number. You just get connected to a corporate support line (after it tries to get you to hang up and use the website). I just want to talk to a human in the shop who actually knows what's going on. I had my windshield replaced here and it was such an easy & stress-free process, I can not recommend this location enough. I showed up to the appointment time and they were quick to get working on it. Is waited in the lobby and they got it done in 35 minutes which was fast & appreciated. The professionalism I encountered of the employees was both friendly and genuine. The waiting area had a nice sitting area with free coffee & hot chocolate. I majorly stress about these kinds of appointments to get my car checked out/fixed but Safelite took the stress away. Wonderful experience & if I ever need auto glass services again, I will return happily to this location. read more

John was very pleasant and informative when I brought in my mini van. The rear quarter panel was shattered and they "crash wrapped " the window so I could drive. Nice touch. Unfortunately, I have so many bad things to say about this location of Safelite. My windshield was badly damaged by a collision with an animal, so I needed to get it replaced. I have Liberty Mutual insurance, and their online claim process makes it "easy" to schedule an appointment with a local Safelite. Since it seemed like the recommended company by Liberty Mutual, I figured why not. So I scheduled the appointment online for a week or so out, the first available. A week away wasn't ideal, because I couldn't legally drive the car until it was fixed... but a week also doesn't sound unreasonable. So I make plans as if I'll have the car fixed in a week. But a day before the appointment, I get a call from John the manager saying there's actually not enough time to do the repair on that day for my particular car, and I need to reschedule a few more days out. He wasn't very apologetic (despite the fact that this is their scheduler's fault, not mine... they knew what car I had), and this ends up being pretty inconvenient because I'd planned to have the car fixed by a certain date, but oh well. Eventually the day arrives, and I bring my car in to be repaired. At that time, everything in the car is working perfectly as expected. When I pick it up later that day, John the manager tells me that they weren't able to recalibrate the cameras (there are some cameras up against the windshield, used for adaptive cruise control etc) and that it should work itself out on its own over time. Seems suspicious, but I hesitantly say "OK" and go get my car. When I get in the car, it's obvious that there's an actual problem that won't work itself out. I see error messages in the car about cameras having errors/faults (an obvious cause for the inability to recalibrate). At this point, it's pretty clear to me that the cameras were either not reconnected correctly after replacing the windshield (a simple step that is required when replacing the windshield, clearly outlined in the service manual), or were damaged during windshield replacement. Again, everything was working fine when I dropped off. So I call and speak to John. He's completely unhelpful. I explain how simple a fix this could be ("it's probably just a wiring harness that wasn't reconnected"), but he says that it couldn't be anything they did, and I should take it for dealer service. I explain that the dealer will charge me for their time, and Safelite has a warranty on service, so Safelite should take a look and hopefully it's an easy fix. He assures me that the camera is fine (what? how could he know this?) but I can bring it over and he'll take a look. Now, I'm not sure why John thought he was qualified to take a look. Seems to me he should've had one of his actual technicians look (although they screwed it up in the first place, so who knows)... but he was determined to be as unhelpful as possible. So I drive all the way to Safelite, and John proceeds to go out to my car, look for 1 second at the actual camera (not the wiring), and proclaim "Yup there's the camera right there, everything's fine, you should bring it to the dealer." No amount of logic or reason could dispel his pro-level gaslighting. Eventually I get frustrated and I assure him that when I bring the car to the dealer and they charge me for a trivial fix, Safelite will end up having to pay for it. He doesn't seem to care. And so I'm left scheduling an appointment with the dealer a couple weeks out. I'm now without a car for about a month, which sucks. All because of Safelite's incompetence and John's gaslighting and complete lack of customer service. In the end, the dealer confirmed what I suspected... Safelite techs didn't properly reconnect a wiring harness. Trivial fix, over $100 charge. I make sure to contact Safelite corporate (rather than John) to get my reimbursement. Safelite comes back to me saying that John told them the issue existed prior to me bringing the car into them (an obvious lie). For some reason, Safelite corporate believes him (despite the fact that I clearly explained the order of events to them) and relays the message to me as an explanation for why they don't have to pay me. I end up having to respond with clear evidence to the contrary, and they finally reimburse me. Do not trust this location. The manager is as untrustworthy and unhelpful as they come. read more

Well, I was skeptical at first because I had a feeling about the Framingham location; I wanted Waltham, MA but I live close to Framingham. Not good. The windshield is probably fine but I went in and asked, when it was time to pick up my car, there was a gentleman there resting. So the only question I asked was, "Did you get the lane change unit and front collision attached and calibrated" (they said they would) And the man answered "Yes. everything is all completed." It was dark so coming home I noticed the small black lane Keeping Assist unit was just dangling from it's cord. Not attached to the windshield. Customer service says come back. I think not. Bad work, no follow up. Had to complain to them. They said they were sorry. What a weird world. read more

With the repaving of the Mass Pike, a pebble flew up and cracked my windshield. My insurance (Met Life) contracts with Safelite. I went online, booked a contact free appointment. You pick a 4 hour window. The technician was running early so called me to ask if he could come early. I said fine. I left the keys in the car. He came and did his thing. He stayed about 10' away with a mask on when he needed to talk to me. When he was done he left my keys on my front stoop - what we agreed on. Everything got charged directly to my insurance so I didn't have to deal with money issues. They replaced my (expired) inspection sticker, pointed out it was expired. And had the Velcro to replace my Fast Lane transponder. read more

I had a great experience from start to end. I had my services done at the Framingham, MA shop, dropped the car at 8:00 (Tesla windshield replacement ), and by 1:30pm, I got a call it was done. I appreciated their care when I stepped into the office (Shiny and clean ). I was greeted by John, the manager, who answered all my questions. HORRIBLE service. I would highly recommend NEVER using this company for any glass replacement. I scheduled a Thursday evening appointment and dropped my truck off, approximately an HOUR later they called me to say my new windshield was damaged. Slightly annoying, but it happens. I got a ride back and the manager said we can squeeze you in at 1:30 Saturday. I bring my truck back and arrive 20 minutes early on Saturday. An employee proceeded to then tell me my appointment was actually scheduled in there computer for 1. There's nothing they can do, they said they'd start the repair but immediately pull it out when the next scheduled repair arrived. All in all, they said I should come back in 5 hours. I went to Florida for my daughters wedding, when i came back 2 weeks later 8/23, went to get my car at my sister-in-law house and my windshield was broken. I called my insurance and then made an appointment with Safelite on 8/25. They called me and told me that my appointment was changed to 8/27 because he had an emergency. on 8/27 the Tech came by (didn't even rang the doorbell) and left, i get a text that he had the wrong windshield. Appointment changed to Tuesday 8/31. New Tech guy comes and calls me outside that HE also had the wrong windshield. Appointment moved to Friday 9/3. This time i had to take my car to their shop because they had to do some calibration since i have lane departure and a camera. almost 2 weeks without a car. Please don't tell me dependable, because you are not. If you would have told me, bring the car to the shop from the get go, it would have taken just a few days. lucky my insurance paid for the repair. I got the appointment online (found appointment for two days later) , got confirmation, got reminder and at drop off, people were super friendly. I went home to wait for car. My car was ready in less than two hours. At picking up, the same great customer service. All insurance pre approval is done within their system.
