Located inside the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall, you'll find this posh fragrance boutique on the 2nd floor. It so happened that when I went in, there was a special event going on. I walked into a divine haven of scents that drew me in like no other! Jesse from @shakenitupaz was on hand to make you a fruity cocktail or mocktail in honor of the debut of new fragrances. I sure did get my cocktail and Jesse made it just right: not too much alchi, and the perfect amount of sweetness! He is a vibe, so catch him if you can next time. Betsy, the Assistant Boutique Manager, provided first class service all around. I felt like I was royalty from the moment I stepped in. I had no intention of making a purchase, but once I got a whiff of the new Raspberry Ripple paired with the Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne, I knew I had lost that battle!! Lol The Raspberry Ripple took me back to my childhood days when I had that little Strawberry Shortcake doll.. it smells just like her! Paired with the Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne, the combination is truly exhilarating as much as it is intoxicating! I purchased the mini set because I only plan to wear them on very special occasions. I feel like Jo Malone fragrances are THAT special that I only want certain people to smell them on me, haha!! I also ended up purchasing a candle for a good friend of mine who just moved into his new place. I know he will absolutely love it and I'm so glad they were able to engrave the lid of the candle for that extra special touch! Like I said before, I never knew about this place, but I will 100% be a return customer. Keep in mind the prices DO reflect the high-end products they sell, but trust me when I say it's worth every penny! Good news: for all you military folks (AD and veterans), you'll get a discount when you show your valid I.D.! Everything from the friendly service (no pushiness at all!!) down to the fancy packaging of your purchase at the end of your transaction, Jo Malone will treat you like a celebrity! My mom and I went in and they were friendly, informative, and helped us make a seemingly daunting decision easy. We left knowing we had made the right choice and excited with our purchase. The prices are high...very high, but the quality and service cannot be beat. If you can swing it then break out the wallet and go for a new perfume or lotion. The candles however might not be worth the money; they aren't very big and are quite expensive. The store itself is clean, small, and full to the brim of product to delight that ever so prominent sense of smell. I haven't been able to find the Grapefruit perfume or candles in other retail stores, so seeing the Jo Malone London stand-alone store was right on time. As someone who likes specific scents & hesitant to try new ones, my nose was sold on the newest candle - Myrrh & Tonka that is slightly similar to Mahogany Teakwood. The scent lingered without being being lit, so I picked up a few gift items & after the fact was told the vanilla scent was on point. Interesting, as I don't like anything vanilla...except for my new candle now. To note burn time is approximately 45 hours. In addition to picking up a new candle & I got the lid of my perfume engraved with my initials so now my scent is really personalized. In addition to the complimentary gift wrapping that is sprayed with an inviting aromatic spritz, the customer service is just as pleasant. read more

It wasn't on my agenda to make a purchase but I was persuaded by the rich smell of Oud & Bergamot, which is a fragrance within the intense line. I was assisted by Sheri D., who was amazing by the way. I expressed to her that I am drawn to the notes of Bergamot and Amber and she immediately pointed me to their intense line. This smell of this fragrance is amazing!! However, it doesn't have the staying power as some of my other high end parfumes. I wish I knew the oil concentration as that would make a difference for me as to whether I buy more or not. If you are a fan of Jo Malone and want wonderful service, request Sheri D. I came here to find my wedding day scent. It was a week day and the store was empty. Sierra immediately greeted me and offered assistance. When I told her the perfume would be for my wedding she immediately lit up. Let me tell you, as someone who was engaged for far too long due to covid and had their wedding delayed by years, having someone get excited for me felt so nice. She listened to what I was looking for and walked me through each of the scents as well as pairings - did you know layering perfume is a thing?? I sure didn't! She asked questions about my wedding, like the location and the feel. We picked two scents, grape fruit and orange blossom which honestly matched my venue perfectly? I got married at a costal estate in Portugal and oh my goodness the fresh citrus just fit the ocean area beautifully! She asked if I wanted to try them in store, to which I declined as I had previously tried on perfumes at other stores and frankly smelled like a perfume store caught on fire. She explained that they offer a hand wash/massage and could remove the perfume odor from the previous perfumes. I was taken to another table, given a pouch of my engagement ring so it wouldn't get in the way. She washed my hands and explained the history of Jo Malone and talked about her experiences with the brand and other brides. Seriously, Sierra is so personable and a great brand rep! I ended up purchasing the two perfumes and a lotion as well. Yes, it can feel expensive but these are luxury items. Then Sierra offered to engrave the caps of the perfume bottles, which I did with my new monogram I am dying to see them in my wedding photos. Our wedding came and went and the fragrances immediately take me back. I wear them daily. The other day I came home to a package in the mail. Sierra sent us a wedding gift which was just the sweetest touch. I am forever grateful for this experience. I am a life long customer now! read more

In early August 2022 while on business travel, I visited the Jo Malone store in Scottsdale, AZ. Sierra Martinez assisted me, and she was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable of all the scents. After spending quite some time in the store, I finally decided on the Rose & White Musk Absolu scent. A few days ago, I received an incredibly sweet note and some samples from Sierra. I was surprised to learn she had remembered a conversation we had in the store--the fact that my son was getting married, and she remembered the time frame. This is a GREAT example of someone going "above and beyond" what is required or expected. I truly hope Jo Malone appreciates the EXCELLENT customer service Sierra provides. read more

There was a sales associate working there named Logan, he was blonde with longish hair. He was genuinely the first sales associate I have ever actually enjoyed talking to, he was so so kind and didn't push my friend and I too hard to buy. He answered all of our questions and if a manager of this location reads this please give him a bonus or raise no matter how much he gets paid- he deserves more! I work in sales myself and I don't usually prefer to online shop and I prefer not to talk to sales associates, but my friend and I were talking all day about what a pleasant experience we had because of him. If I can leave zero stars I would. Stopped in while vacationing with my family. As a Jo Malone fanatic I was ecstatic to bring my daughters in on our special mother daughter date to purchase their own fragrances. Unfortunately we had the most traumatic experience shopping here. Being from Southern California we have had the opportunity to shop at very high end designer store and not once have we ever been treated so disgustingly. The sales women judged us as soon as we walked into the EMPTY store and was completely out of line and flat out rude. Literally had to walk out to keep my composure. For the first time I had to explain to my children that sometimes in this world there are people who will look down upon you for not "looking the part". The man who works at this fashion square store is one of the RUDEST and most HORRIBLY ill tempered people I have ever met. He becomes easily frustrated and hostile with customers. I have no idea how he even sells anything. It must suck to be so bitter about your job that you have to take it out on other people. Hopefully one day he takes some anger management classes or something to help with his treatment of people. Such a shame that people have to communicate with such an unpleasant human just to buy a bottle of perfume. The company should be embarrassed that they hired this person in the first place.
