While they were cleaning, they kept open communication on how I would like things to be organized and disposed of; I told them prior to starting that a family member would be doing their own sorting at a later time, and they were completely understanding of our circumstances. Though their services may not fit the tightest of budgets, the end results speak for themselves. I recommend others work with Tranquil Home for their cleaning needs!

    A cleaner from this company broke one of the cabinets of the hinges and it was laying on the ground…read morewhen I came home Tranquil home offered to send someone to fix and proceeded to waste about 8 more hours of my time over the course of 2 days and the handyman never showed 2 days in a row The cabinet was fully functional before it was torn off the hinges and left on the ground One of the hinges was broken and the company kept leaning on that but the cabinet fully worked The cleaner didn't even clean my sink lol Just all together a really huge waste of my time and money since I have to fix the cabinet myself I have worked with them in the past and it was fine but it's truly not worth your time when sometime could be okay or they break something in your home and leave the house dirty I also had surgery around this time and got my house cleaned due to barely being able to walk so it was insanely disappointing to have -another thing added to my to do list -an apt that was still not cleaned -more time wasted with them scheduling a handy man who was a no show twice Not worth your time Not worth your money I can only assume if they didn't want me to review them on all review sites they would reimburse me for having to get the cabinet fixed

    We chose Head of Household based on the yelp reviews and ratings…read more We needed to have our vacation home cleaned after having a tenant for five weeks. When the family moved out, we had the house prepped for professional cleaning by emptying the refrigerator, emptying all the trashcans and replacing the liners, sweeping the floors, and cleaning the toilets. We also washed and put away all the dirty dishes, sheets and towels. When hiring Head of Household, we asked that our home be made "hotel clean", with special attention be given to the floors and bathrooms, that the interior of the refrigerator be wiped down, beds made, and that the cobwebs be removed from the staircase. We needed our vacation home to really sparkle as we depend on positive reviews and know that high-end vacationers value cleanliness. Laurie Bishop is the owner. She returned my call promptly, even though she was out of town. She promised to get our vacation home "hotel clean" and assigned a crew to clean the home within a few days. We were very optimistic that we had found a great cleaning service for our vacation home. When the cleaning team arrived, there was a question about the address and we received a call. After answering her question, we reminded the employee that we wanted special attention to the floors. We checked on the home a few days later. We found the beds were perfectly made. The carpeted bedrooms had vacuum lines on them. These areas were the only part of the service that we were satisfied with. The hard floors, however, appeared dirty. We took a "Swiffer" mop and wet liner and began lightly wiping the tile and wood floors throughout the house. We went through eight liners, and each was dirty, meaning that none of the hard floors in the house were cleaned. Also, none of the area rugs were vacuumed and neither were the stairs. We wiped one of the bathtubs with a tissue and found it to be dirty. We discovered that all of the bathrooms were poorly cleaned. The refrigerator interior had not been wiped clean. There was dried red sauce left behind on the kitchen counter. The oven face had not been cleaned, nor had the cabinet doors, several of which were dirty. The cobwebs remained in the staircase. We called Laurie and she came out right away to discuss the work. She admitted that the work was poor and that the floors had not been cleaned. She coached us on how to remove the cobwebs ourselves. She offered to refund our money or send the same cleaning crew to come back out on Sunday. Strangely, while admitting that our vacation home was not "hotel clean" and they didn't do what they were supposed to, she defending the cleaning crew by saying that their other clients never complained about their work. We didn't feel comfortable with having the same cleaning crew return. We also didn't want a full refund, so we allowed a $30 discount. Laurie, the owner, was pleasant to work with, but the standards of the actual cleaning service are far below what we can accept for our vacation home.
