After reading the previous reviews along with my own admission, all I can think is "what is up with this location?!"Sounds like a wellness check needs to be done with corporate. In the past, this location was always by go to. Michael's failed years ago and doesn't carry anything useful so Joanne's was my place to be besides the amazing fabrics and sales. But last night on a Monday, I had time to kill so I wandered into this location again...wow! The mess! It looked worse in some areas than others but employees were not actively cleaning/or straightening but instead playing on their phones. I didn't even get a hello. First thing that was off when I walked in. Strolled over to the planner section, clearance, t shirts and well...almost the whole store. The mess! The area where the "new items" for spring and Christmas going out was orderly but whoever is in charge of walking/keeping order has been on duty awhile. I've seen more organized thrift stores. Blink twice if you need help JOANNE! Shame. read more

RIP OFF! 50% off sale but require minimum 2 yard cut on fabric or 3 yard cut on upholstery fabric. Thousands of rolls of fabric sitting untouched that could be used by crafters who do not need 2 yards at $20 or more per yard. They deserve to go out of business and can take their rolls of unsold fabric down the drain with them! read more

I just left this store where I had the unfortunate need to use the filthy restroom. I ran into the manager and asked him to come and look at the filthy restroom. I said that obviously it had not been mopped in a very long time and he actually admitted that they don't have a working mop!!! I was afraid to touch the bottom pattern drawer as it was so dirty. I started to look around the store and it was so disgusting that I took some photos. read more

I went to this location and ended up with $300 worth of fabric. Which is a lot of fabric. Viviana, one of the most helpful employees working at this location (she was awesome!). She was next to me in the chaos getting the correct fabric and the correct measurement I came with. Her and other employees did me a huge favor and making my experience with this location a 5/5! read more

I was in need of a product ASAP and I was in a hurry. I asked the clerk where a certain product was and Chelsea was amazing from start to finish! I got there very early (when they opened) and although she was by herself she was beyond hands-on helpful with getting me everything that I needed with a smile. This is a decent place for art supplies or crafting materials. Lots of fabrics for those interested in making something. Good location as well. Nice staff who are helpful. Store is a bit old. This location used to be a MJDesigns and it looks like Jo-Anns moved in like a hermit crab and didn't make many changes. Some of their price tags are wrong on the shelves as well, but not crazy levels of wrong. A couple bucks one way or the other. Not a deal breaker. If you live in the area and have need of something these folks sell, give them a try. :) read more

My girlfriend lost the piece that snapped to her pin at Target and we needed to get a replacement. Off to Jo-Ann we went... Going in, I knew we were looking for a difficult piece (if they even sold individual pin snaps at all). Quickly we found a staff member quickly who told us where we could find this item at (jewelry department) and we looked there. No luck. My girlfriend had another idea, she checked where the buttons were and to our surprise we found some snaps (well sort of). They looked like pins that you could add decorations to (metal base with a pin on it). We get to the register and the cashier realizes that we picked up some pins that were suppose to have the decorations already on them (we assume someone else removed them). So she gave us a discount for the item. Anyhow, the pins worked and my girlfriend can enjoy wearing her pin again. read more

I have had the worst customer service experience at many of the Joann's I have been to including this one and even online. Normally, I fully expect to be treated rudely and I have even been yelled at by the staff there. However, the one experience I had recently was so over the top amazing I have to give this store 5 stars, and I want it to be clear it only represents my experience with a cashier Toby, who was incredibly positive, upbeat, friendly, funny and kind and thoughtful and deserves a raise. A perfect example of what customer service should be. Everyone at Joann's needs to be more like Toby. Toby had even drawn a picture of a panda and gave it to me. Toby 100/5, Joann's fabric as a whole 0/5. Thank you so much Toby for making my day, you keep shining bright. read more

I went to Joann's on October 31, 2019 to pick up a couple of items. The first employee I asked for help not only ignored me but glared at me. I thought maybe she didn't understand me so I repeated myself and instead of answering, she paged someone else to ask the question. She then looked at me and mumbled. I said excuse me? She mumbled again. I asked three times to please repeat herself because I could not understand her...she glared at me again and raised her voice and said it's on 11! Never offered help, directions, nothing at all! I hoped she was just having a bad day. Then I went to check out and the cashier at the front never acknowledged me, never made eye contact, never said thank you or goodbye. I left shocked at how bad the customer service was. Soon after, I called and asked to speak to the manager. The person on the phone reluctantly told me the manager was not in and would not return until the following day. This person wasn't friendly either. What has happened to this store?? I won't return! read more

Store is old looking and in need of some organizing. Service is hot and cold. Ellen in framing is a star. She is helpful and seems to take an interest in her customers. Although they don't have a tremendous selection of frames I would recommend going there just to be helped by Ellen. read more

I was stuck between 3 and 4 stars....the employees were killed d of disappointing the first one wouldn't acknowledge I was even there and when I asked the next one if they had drop spindles (which they sell online but I wasn't sure if they sold at the store) i got a dumbfounded look and...uhhh what is that for??? Worst customer service ever! My mother, aunt, and I went to buy some crafting supplies and we're patiently waiting in line. Another cashier jumped on the register to help out with the steadily growing line, and so we went to her. The whole time we were checking out, the cashier kept looking back at the line and giving the whole vibe of "will you hurry up already"? When we were having her scan the coupons to see what would work she literally asked "are you done yet?" And copped an attitude when I wanted to pay partially with cash and put the rest on my card. Will NEVER come back! You need to teach your employees to either learn how to leave their bad day at home, or to have them leave! read more

Very unprofessional!!! They would not honor their own coupon for 50% off a regular priced item. The clerk laughed and said she couldn't do anything. I asked to speak to the manager, which resulted in a chuckle, as she told me he wouldn't help me either. Well, she was right. The manager told me he had no ability to manually enter a coupon or change a price. Even if he could he said he wouldn't due to policy. Well, I know this is a lie because in my experience at other Joann fabric stores I have seen the clerk or manager make adjustments before. So I called his manager Susan. Susan confirmed that he lied and that he had the ability to change the price, but that she had instructed him not to. On every point during the call she said she couldn't or wouldn't help based on policy, of which she had no idea where the policy was or where it came from. Customer service should involve working with the customer and not just reapeating "it's policy" and referring you to the website. So, based on this lack of customer service and assistance I decided to try their competitor "Michaels craft store". I drove about a block away, found the exact same product (which was actually cheaper), went up to the clerk and gave them Joann fabrics 50% off coupon, and they rang it up with no questions asked. So Joann fabrics wouldn't take their own coupon, but their competitor Michaels had no issue with it. I know where to shop going forward. So I guess I was able to find my own solution to the issue that a clerk, two managers and a district manager Fernando Chapa didn't want to deal with. read more
