Neither big box retailer could tell me much about their tubs except for price and obvious things such as 1yr warranty but they didn't know how that worked or the fine print details, or anything about their service after install etc. Notable was that they did disclose that they "neatly leave the packaging / trash for the consumer to discard"- What?! Then remembered The Place in Medina, Ohio. So glad I went this route. Rex Brown was very knowledgeable, he answered All of my questions and concerns (that no one else could and other info. that I couldn't get online). The Place has a large inventory of Hot tubs. Like most stores, big box or small retailers they have a limited amount of Plug n Play units but more than most that I went to, and they carry the BEST plug n play model on the market: The Dream Maker and at an affordable price too. The difference with The Place and Big box stores, is that The Place knows their products and stand behind them! It is a family-owned company-(buy local). They have a repair shop on sight, their own repair guys/employees (unlike big box- once you get it home - after warranty-it's on you to get it fixed). The Place also carries any accessories, like filters and chemicals that you may need for your hot tub. The transaction was GREAT from start to finish, (no gimmicks, no delays, no bait and switch). The delivery and set up was quick and very professional; they left no trace of packaging material aside from my beautiful hot tub you would never know they were there! I couldn't be happier- I highly recommend Rex Brown and The Place in Medina Oh.

Since 2021, we have worked with them for regular maintenance, service calls, questions about balancing chemicals, purchasing supplies and more. They are knowledgeable, kind, patient and accommodating. They offer a free service for you to bring in a sample of your hot tub water and they analyze it in the store and tell you exactly what chemicals to add. That was immensely helpful when I was getting the hang of the new hot tub. I highly recommend this business. They stand by their product and provide support to the customer for years.

It was 7 years in and obviously been rooting for years, but it was out of warranty by 2 years even though water was getting in from the outside shell they wouldn't work with me. I talked to people in the hot tub business and they felt that they could have worked with us to get a replacement at a discounted price, but this is not what happened. I purchased a different brand. Do yourself a favor and purchase from a different company.

Our first pool took only 10 days to complete and that included moving a garage. When we moved to a new house, they had to dig into the side of a hill to level out the land for the pool, but still managed to complete the pool in less than two weeks. That was 31 years ago and the pool is still in great shape. Over the years, we've replaced the gas heater, 2 pumps, and several chlorinators. Classic builds excellent pools and has always been quick to respond to service requests. This is a great company.

The associate seemed perturbed that he to break off his texting and after signing the docs pushed the machine out the door and said "have a good day" he was pretty clueless about helping me load it but at 70 I'm still pretty strong. Getting home I had to sharpen the bits as the were just blunt pieces of iron and after 10 minutes of use I saw a couple of bolts laying on the ground. The head was coming off. The machine was a piece of crap so I returned it I finished the following day by renting from Sunbelt. Nice tool, good bits and they loaded it up. Home Depot nicked me $125.00 for 4 hours use. Sunbelt the same for 24. Oh well, 2nd time shame on me

We ordered appliances from Home Depot for our brand new kitchen…read more The refrigerator (along with a range and dishwasher) was delivered just before Christmas. The delivery experience was alarming. The drivers appeared impaired and fell while carrying the refrigerator up our stairs (raised ranch). Because the box itself did not appear damaged, no further inspection was done at the time. Due to an ongoing kitchen renovation, all appliances remained boxed to prevent damage until cabinetry was installed. Today, when the refrigerator was finally unboxed for installation, we discovered three significant dents. This damage clearly occurred during manufacturing or delivery. Multiple calls to Home Depot customer service led absolutely nowhere. Despite the circumstances, we were told the refrigerator would not be replaced. After years of loyalty and thousands of dollars spent with Home Depot, this is how we are treated -- dismissed and left with a damaged product we paid full price for. We now have a brand-new kitchen with a visibly dented, brand-new refrigerator, and Home Depot refuses to make it right. This is unacceptable and deeply disappointing. Buyer beware: once that delivery truck leaves, Home Depot apparently wants nothing to do with the condition of the appliance they delivered.
