Jodi the owner is a really nice lady. She was able to get me in the next day. I was super excited to get a full face wax and a derma treatment. I was leaving on a business trip. Total after tip was $284.38. I have had many treatments to my face but never a waxing and then treatment. Bad idea. After my treatment I looked in the mirror with my glasses off. Said it looked great. Face tingling. I leave the wind hits my face and it stings.... Ok well it's just sensitive. The next morning I woke up to scabs on the rounds of my cheeks! I let her know she gave me a refund of $118. Said sorry. Seemed sympathetic. I left for my conference 2 days later with scabs on my face. Long story short I know have a scar on my right cheek. I have had many treatments other places. This has never happened to me before. So I paid $166 and change to leave with scars. read more

Fuller eyebrow ladies beware!! I asked for a cleanup and as little removed as possible, I am not sure how I could have been more clear. Her reasoning for removing half my eyebrows was because of uneven growth. Apparently, it was the only way to give it a shape. Personally, I think giving the uneven spots time to grow would have been better than choosing to remove those spots entirely. I never asked for shaping. As a minimal makeup gal my eyebrows are very important to me. I payed for an experience that left me in tears. read more

The difference is other professionals never comment on their clients bodies over multiple visits, nor do they forget over multiple visits their promotions their clients have prepaid for over the course of multiple appointments. I could have left a bad review over each time you commented on my knees and dark spots, but I didn't because I valued the work. I even spent extra on the products like sunscreen. Jodi's warm personality makes your first visit feel like you've been there before and known her forever. Booking the appointment was efficient, clear, and smooth. It even synced to my calendar. She sends confirmation texts 72-48 prior to the appointment and also provides detailed and accurate information and directions. The studio is clean, comfortable and smells good. I really hate getting my snatch waxed. I do. I've had three different women do it and Jodi is by far the best. First things first, she is quick! Jodi always tries to distract me which I appreciate. Very attentive to my body, I get hot very quick which makes for a sticky wax that does not like to remove, she always turns the fan on for me to cool down. I recently moved to the area and booked with Jodi based on the good reviews I saw but, after my experience, I definitely cannot recommend her. For my eyebrow wax, she asked me how I like my brows shaped. I told her I like them on the thicker side, and I like the shape and the length, I just needed the stray hairs cleaned up. I'm not sure why she bothered to ask me, because she definitely didn't listen. She took half of my first brow off and left it a shapeless crescent. When she held up the mirror I was horrified, and told her it was way too thin- I said I like them thick. All she could say was "Oh, well, sorry about that. I'll try not to take as much off the next one". The second brow was a little thicker, but again the shape was destroyed with no clear arch. The lip wax was fine, but it's pretty hard to screw that up. The Brazilian was ok, what bothered me there was the lack of privacy. I mean, I get that its an up close and personal experience, but she could've stepped out while I was undressing. And when she left, I was sitting up on the table, still naked from the waist down, and she opened the door all the way so that anyone who might have been looking in from the salon could've seen my butt. At the end, she said my eyebrows were uneven (no, REALLY?!), and offered to even them up. But unless we can go back in time to where she wasn't so liberal with the wax, there's really no fixing them. She did give me a discount, which I promptly spent on an eyebrow kit at Sephora. Hopefully they'll start to grow in before my wedding in 2 weeks. read more
