To him, this meant the top needs to be 1 inch. After I saw my long hair drop onto my lap, I immediately told him to stop and I wanted to confirm with him exactly what I wanted. I spent the next 5 minutes trying to explain to him that 1 inch off the top didn't mean I wanted it to be 1 inch, but for it to be whatever my current length is minus 1 inch. He insisted that I wanted it to be 1 inch. I gave up and let him finish the cut, and I obviously didn't tip him. I don't think he noticed since he apparently can't add or subtract. I'm going to an event that I've been waiting a year for and was hoping to look good for it, but words can't describe how bad this haircut makes me look. I'm never coming back here again, and I urge anyone who is reading this to just go somewhere else. Anywhere else, it really doesn't matter, it honestly can't get worse than this.

Carmen is an excellent barber who does an awesome job for any price. Add to that, she doesn't charge much for the great hair cuts. I have been going there for around three years now and she is by far my favorite barber I have ever had. I strongly recommend calling ahead for an appointment since she works alone. A typical haircut goes about 20 minutes and includes a straight razor shave if you are cursed with a hairy neck line like me. The Los Angeles Kings practice rink is near by, as well as the Lakers gym. She cuts hair for stars and normal folk like me and does a great job. If you are tired of stupid cuts, give Carmen a try. You can park on the west side of the hotel on Indiana and walk through the hotel. I always just park right in front in the shuttle parking.

I asked for a simple line up and even asked the barber over the phone if they are comfortable with styling a black persons hair. They said yes, upon arrival they must of thought I was joking that I was black and told me they couldn't do a line up..... It's a shame I have to travel from PV to Inglewood to get a haircut, I know Jim Crow Law was abolished in 1964. I didn't have an appointment but was seen right away. The gentleman in the last chair, furthest from the door, cut my hair. He took about 30-40 minutes with my haircut. As he was cutting my hair I felt him cut me over my ear. I've been getting haircuts 2x a month for the past 20 years and can't remember the last time I was cut. Once he was done he pulled out the mirror and I could clearly see a line in my fade. At this point I was just ready to leave cuz the haircut wasn't going to get any better. I went to pay and was a little surprised the haircut was $45. I gave a $9 tip and left. $54 for getting nicked and see a line in my fade. No thanks.
