Atlanta really needs a Joe & The Juice. Since we don't have one, I make it a point to stop by whenever I'm in a city that does. You have to try their Scandinavian-style flatbread sandwiches pressed in a panini. The Tunacado is one of my all-time favorites and never disappoints. I just wish they would bring back the Blue Spirulina shake with real dates. That one was special. The staff is always amazing and makes you feel right at home. My smoothie was overpriced and rather mediocre. I would rather drinks a premier protein shake or a fairlife or basically any other protein shake. The shake was icy and had a strange after taste. It was drinkable but I would not recommend and will not get it again. I have had other drinks Joe & The Juice that I like but this is not one of them. I love a good smoothie from Joe & The Juice. We first tried them during our honeymoon in the UK and are thrilled that they've branched out and opened multiple locations in Chicagoland area. Customer service was great and staff friendly. The only reason this is getting 4 stars is because of the confusion with where to order and where to stand without crowding customers sitting at the table. I feel like there could have been a much better design plan for this location as the front becomes super congested by the doors. read more

I didn't realize how poorly this chain is reviewed in Chicago. I have only had good experiences in NYC. But my $16.80 sandwich today was terrible. It was not toasted, they forgot the pesto, the avocado had already become over ripe in the fridge, and I had to throw half my sandwich away it was that bad. I rarely give places less than 3 stars but I also almost never throw any food away in my life. The staff behind the counter was idle and overstaffed, busy discussing their dating lives and absolutely unbothered with customers. Service was quick and polite, for a simple yogurt bowl with fruit and granola I found it quite tasty. The shop appeared clean. There was some wear on the furniture but nothing major and it indicated to me that people come here often. Price was a little high for what I ordered but I expect that being close to the Miracle Mile drives that more than anything. So it was not unexpected. Honestly one star is a bit generous in my opinion. The drink is supposed to be a nutty protein shake but I was given unicorn tears instead. They insisted that it was my order and the system must have "autocorrected" and so this is my order. I also know I ordered correctly since my emailed receipt also said the nutty. Additionally for a shake this was VERY thin. Not at all what I would expect from a shake. Finally the door is not accessible. It is very hard to open and you must use a lot of force. This was not just the case for me but also the people who came in after. As a side note, I was sharing my experience with a friend who briefly worked at Joe & the Juice and he said a key reason he quit is because they often ran out of items and instead of telling the customer they were instructed to leave out ingredients just making it incorrectly or to make something else. I stopped here for a quick caffeine fix before heading to a wedding nearby. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and an iced Chai latte. The order took a really long time to prepare. They had plenty of staff but each employee was on their own station, so perhaps the coffee barista was in training. That said, the drinks were fine, but the rest of their menu actually looked great. The Avocado sandwich is the best thing on the menu and quite filling. The ambiance was quite casual and chill, one can bring their laptop and work there. Ok I think I get the hype. Yes I also was introduced to Joe & The Juice via TikTok :). I got the Spicy Tuna sandwich, add extra tuna, add avocado. Basically the best of both worlds between the Spicy Tuna and Tunacado. There really is something about that thin, warm, crispy bread! It is unique and honestly I think it's the best part and what makes the sandwich what it is. With the extra tuna, I felt like I had a good amount of the fillings. The vegan pesto is tasty, the tuna salad a good amount of creamy and subtlety lemon-y, and the jalapeños were a good crunch and spice. Overall though, I kind of thought the sandwich wasn't that flavorful (outside of the spicy jalapeños). Maybe a balsamic drizzle could've elevated it. So overall good but aside from the bread, nothing really special. I think with the extras it was $16 pre-tax/tip which I found a bit expensive for what it was. The place is nice aesthetically. However the SMOOTHIE we received was more juice than anything else. (See the video) Very watered down and one of them was warm. The younger gentleman looked to be struggling with the ingredients and not knowing where items were on the menu when the orders came through. The lady at the register stood and just pointed at the menu without helping the guy. You could clearly tell he was either new or just was lost in what he was making. Terrible products. If we had one of these in my city I would be their number one customer. I was giddy when I spotted the noticeable light pink decal of Joe and the Juice while meandering the streets of downtown Chicago. In my heart of hearts I know the crispy salty flatbread would never outgrow its novelty to me. It was divine, an absolute texture lovers dream. It stole the show, it was hard while still being toothsome and easily bitten into, it surprisingly didn't fall apart like one may expect. The tuna avocado sandwich which had been hyped up online made me enjoy two ingredients I usually don't, tuna and avocado. I may be in the minority but avocado for me is a texture thing but, when it is paired with an airy tuna mouse the creaminess of the avocado doesn't bother me. I don't know why, I can't explain it. It all circles back to that bread! Also, the tuna is mild and not fishy, I've never been a tuna fan but this is delicious and I would eat it once a week if it was offered to me. The fattiness of the fish and the avocado made something that seems so simple so decadent. The vegan pesto added an early flavor that complimented the tomato and avocado nicely. Everything was extremely fresh and was so good I had to go back and immediately order another sandwich. The chicken club was good but didn't come close to the Tuna Avocado masterpiece, chicken of the sea has grown on me! read more

Please do not order the blueberry matcha I love matcha so much, and ive tried it from many places. I make it at my house, and most of the time i drink 2-3 cups of it a day. The Joe & the juice matcha costed $13 with shipping. The blue at the bottom of the cup was bright, similar to the color of blue candy. I mized it very well, and tried it. The matcha was not only very sweet, but it tasted like it was flavored with blue raspberry candy. It felt very very artificial and i was so sad because i spend my $13 on it . I got a green juice and it really seemed watered down and that they had accidentally mixed too much ice into it. I appreciate that they do not add sugar to their drinks. Had to try the viral tunacado sandwich...and it did not disappoint!! The bread/cracker is the most unique bread I've ever had in a sandwich. It is crunchy on the outside but nice and soft in the inner layer. Sooo yummy. This sandwich is for tuna lovers...which I am so beware it does taste like tuna. I've visited a location in New York, but the last time I stopped by a "Joe & the Juice" was in Chicago. They have a few locations mainly near Michigan Ave. In addition to juice they also have sandwiches, desert, coffee, shakes, and more. I've tried the green tonic which is mainly green fruits and veggies and the iron man which mainly tastes like kiwi and strawberries. They also have some really good banana bread. The staff are very friendly and the drinks taste decent. Whenever I've stopped by my drinks came out really quick but I wouldn't suggest going during lunch as they can get busy.
