I like how crispy the flatbread is and the tuna amount is good. However it's lacking something, maybe some corn or something sweet/sour to give it a kick. Sandwich price was surprisingly okay given that this is located in an airport. The person recommended spicy tuna but I decided to go with chicken avocado (Joe's Club) sandwich. The TikTok hype of this place for their tunacado is real! While at the airport I found out that Joe & The Juice was at YVR! I thought it was only an American brand! Excited to find this, I ordered the TikTok famous tunacado with extra tuna and a green juice as well. Tunacado 10/10 - This is a must get and I understand the hype now. It's the bread!! The bread is so super thin and crispy that the texture is not comparable to any other breads I've ever had. The double scoop of tuna is also a must get as it was tuna in every bite. Overall this was so delicious and I found myself trying to replicate it once I got home. Juice was also great and refreshing. It felt so good and clean to be drinking the green juice. I was on yelp looking at the reviews and I had no idea this was a tik tok place (but should've known now..). The reviews are great but I wouldn't give it 5 stars, it's not that great. Their sandwiches are good. They're known for their thin bread. My partner ordered the chicken club (it is not a BLT), but has sliced chicken, tomato, avo and vegan pesto. I find it strange how they offer vegan pesto when the place isn't vegan nor is any of the sandwiches offered there. I ordered the tunacado which was just tuna mix, avo, tomato and vegan pesto. It was good. All of their sandwiches comes with tomato, avo and vegan pesto though. We also ordered iron man juice which has kiwi,strawberry and apple. My partner opted for a large for a dollar more. Upon receiving the juice, I was shocked as this is NOT a juice. Jugo juice, booster juice and even orange Julius services you real juice- this is nothing like it. This reminds me of is Tim hortons mixed berry smoothie but way more watered down with ice and flavourless. I wouldn't even compare this to Tim hortons as it's worst, but it's something for you to imagine/compare. Stopped by here to grab a bite while running to my next flight at the airport. It is always a struggle to find a semi healthy meal in an airport but this was the spot! The service was friendly and quick. It all took less than 10 mins to order and get the sandwich. The place was not busy which was nice. I don't know if it was due to the time that I got there or just in general. I tried the spicy tuna and was so happy that I did. I heard a lot about the sandwich in social media and boy did it not disappoint. The bread was grilled to a perfect crisp and it was still nice and crispy even after 30 mins. The girl helped me was really nice and it was fast but my shake was not cold at all but it was more room temperature so it felt like a protein drink, the thick room temperature kind where you drink after a workout because you brought your protein drink and there wasn't a fridge! My drink wasn't bad but it wasn't good either! I know it was good for me so I drank it as fast as I could like medicine to be done with it. Banana didn't seem fresh, no surprise as the strawberries absolutely were not. granola is pure sugar huge clumps, only way to describe it is a nature valley bar in granola form.. add raisins. They have vegan options and are open early, so this is a decent spot (relative to airport options) to get a vegan bite in the morning. They have a smashed avo toast ($9.90 plus tax) that you can omit the cheese from to make it vegan. It comes on rye bread--you get 2 pieces of toasted bread, only one of which is covered with avocado and some chopped tomato; the other piece has nothing on it--what the hell? Under-salted / under-seasoned, but it's at least fresh and relatively filling. Still, poor value for money and not great execution. There's limited seating so if you're travelling with a larger party, be prepared to wait a bit for a table or head back to your gate to sit and eat. Overall good experience. I had a smashed avocado on toast and since it only consisted of 3 items, you'd hope they'd all be well prepared. The avocado was nice and fresh but the toast was not 'toast' by any stretch of the imagination. It was just bread with a few faint grill lines on it (on just one end) and there was way more of it than avocado. The few sandwiches on the menu all contained pesto and when I asked if I could have one without and have mayo or something else substituted, the answer was - they just didn't have anything else. The choice was dry or with pesto. Despite it not being busy, it was slow. Both I and the previous customer ahead of me waited at the cash for some time before anyone even acknowledged us and it was another lengthy wait to get the food. Wouldn't recommend coming at all. Walked in here after landing in Vancouver, Canada @5pm wanted to grab something quick. Once asked for what we wanted to order the young Indian lady said they're unable to serve us since they aren't making anything but sandwiches . Then the other Indian lady came up and repeated her self. so we ended ordering sandwiches. Once we sat down to eat they closed the gate and said they closed but the website says 6....
