Popcorn Cove is a popcorn, candy, and soda shop with a huge variety of each. Flavors of popcorn are wide, ranging from common (butter) to adventurous. They don't skimp on the flavors, so if you get, for example, cheddar popcorn, there is a LOT of cheddar cheese powder bountifully applied. The flavors are intense and great! You can get small individual bags, or tins of all sizes. Their candy selection is mightily impressive, ranging from vintage classics to modern and quirky oddities (gummy stapler, anybody?). Their soda selection is also huge, and equally quirky. Staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and prompt. Why not five stars, then? The location is pretty terrible. It is in a tiny strip mall in the same shopping center as a Home Depot, and its parking lot is TINY. It is so small that there are literally one-way signs to prevent vehicles from blocking the path (the lanes are only wide enough for one vehicle to fit through). This same strip mall has a Starbucks, and there are generally LOTS of cars backed up at the drive-through, all the way to the entrance of the strip mall, and blocking the main street. If you go, I'd recommend doing so AFTER Starbucks is closed to save yourself a LOT of headache.

There were so many things to try and a lot of gourmet treats. The Mississippi district can be a parking challenge so look for parking on the side streets. The shop is maintained beautifully, and my group was greeted warmly by Catherine who was working the store during my visit. She gave my group a thorough explanation of all the specialty salts available, and explained the differences in cultivation & flavor profiles of fleur de sel, sel gris, flake, smoked, and shio salts just to name a few. I loved trying the chocolate salt! We also learned about all the different origins and makers of the chocolates available as well. Catherine was extremely knowledgeable and attentive to detail, she made the shopping experience feel fun and comfortable. We ended up purchasing the black truffle salt, sel gris, hana flake salt, the meadow's own backyard blackberry patch & strawberry dark chocolate bars, a few other dark chocolate bars, some of the delectable small individual chocolates at the counter - and we couldn't resist also buying the cutest tiny fairy star salt spoon, too. Amazing experience, and everything was so delicious - I would definitely visit again!

It is located on Main St. across from the Gresham History Museum and next door to the Local Cow. We come every month or so, and have always received a friendly greeting, and the staff work together to make the customers' experience a delight. They have handmade candies, Carmel corn and other sweets to bring home. On the display rounds you often find candy bars and packages that will bring back nostalgia. Besides these, a varitey of stuffies, stickers, games and cups. At the counter, they serve hand scooped ice cream and Boba drinks. ICandy truly has something for anyone with a sweet tooth.

I even asked the staff member if I had gotten the right drink. They said yes, but didn't ask if something was wrong, offer to remake it, or seem concerned that I clearly wasn't happy with it. It was pretty awkward since I had already paid for it and honestly thought it tasted gross. I also tried the haystack chocolate, which tasted old and stale. Overall, really disappointing experience. I wouldn't recommend it.
