We ordered Steak, Fish, Chicken fried Chicken, Shrimp scampi. The frys were beyond good. Also im a HUGE chowder snob. This chowder was flavorful, thick, good clams its a must have. Will definitely return. Service was attentive, fast, and Great attitude. O and the PRICES its like a menu 8 years ago. CHEAP CHEAP...CHEAP

My parmesan crusted halibut was a little more dense than I would expect for that type of fish -- it was bright white, but was not flaky at all. The flavor was good, but it felt very heavy with the provided tartar sauce. The fries had great flavor, but they could have stayed in the fryer a little longer, as they were rather pale. The veggies were obviously frozen and reheated, and didn't have a lick of seasoning on them -- definitely needed salt & pepper. I ordered soup with my meal, and it didn't make it out before the main courses. Not a huge deal, as they just brought it out after I mentioned it. The soup was okay, but nothing special. The best part of the meal was dessert -- Dutch Apple Pie. It was just what an apple pie should be, with a nice flaky crust. I would definitely go back, but might try something other than seafood. Our experience was in the high 3-star range, but not quite a 4.

Had a great experience at this store…read more You could tell the sales girls were a little bored, because they greeted me very enthusiastically. If I didn't know better, I might have thought I'd just walked into a Yelp Elite Event. I was offered a free sample, which of course, I never turn down. Out of all the options that were presented to me, I opted for the dark chocolate buttercream. I asked if they had any seasonal flavors, and was steered towards a dark chocolate black forest cake cherry truffle, and a dark mint peppermint buttercream. Both dark chocolate! It was my lucky day. I'm DEFINITELY a dark chocolate person. They also still had egg nog and white chocolate peppermint truffles left over from Christmas. I left with a small bag of chocolate for about $6. See's is definitely one of my favorite chocolatiers of all time. While they're now synonymous with going to the mall, they started out as a small chocolate shop in LA. They use chocolate from Guittard, which is one of the two main historic chocolatiers from San Francisco (the other being Ghirardelli). All of their nuts come from Winters, California, which is one of my favorite farm towns to drive through on my way to visit my country friends. The chocolate that I purchased was fresh. I've already enjoyed a few pieces. Would definitely stop by this location again.

They give you a sample and the chocolate sells itself! It's that good! I sampled a coffee flavored scotchmallow and it was absolutely incredible! Amazing! If you love coffee, chocolate, and marshmallows, this candy was made for you. It is so decadent that one is all you need to feel completely satisfied. They are seasonal, around Easter and Mother's Day, so buy them when you can! I wanted to buy a box but knew they would melt in my car while I was at the Tulip Festival. I had every intention to stop back on my way home, but I ran out of time. Will be heading that way again, several times, to visit the various flower gardens and will make a point of stopping here on my way home to buy my favorite chocolates. Located next to TJ Maxx by the Woodburn Outlets, with plenty of parking right out front, and easy access on and off I-5.

Reading the reviews I notice they are almost all from a few years ago. This is December 31, 2023…read more* Woodburn Mega Foods has all the basic staples available in most grocery stores plus many items and brands needed for authentic European and Mexican cooking not found at Safeway or Walmart. * The parking lot is in excellent shape with parking spaces clearly marked and clean. * The produce department, deli and bakery look great and have a wide selection with many options not available anywhere else in the Woodburn area. * The shortage of cashiers currently does not seem to be a problem generally. There can be lines during peak times but the cashiers work steadily to get people checked out quickly. * There is a self checkout section with a person available to help with any problem. * Most of the cashiers speak English and Spanish and are friendly to everyone. As for the cashiers not being particularly chatty - I value getting in and out of the grocery store quickly. In fact, it irritates me when things are held up by cashiers carrying on conversations with customers when there is a line. The store has the warehouse look, like Costco, and is clean, fresh, and usually well stocked. Like many stores today they may be out of something due to shipping delays but I normally can find everything I need. I wanted to let people know what Woodburn Mega Foods shopping is like now.
