The meat tasted old like it had been pre cooked and then just reheated
    Bob 5.

Say small mom and pop place food was ok but not as good as it could be I've had better but for woodburn it was pretty good I'd definitely go back and try other stuff say I gave this a Portland 2 but in woodburn its like a 3 food round here just doesn't cut it

    Kimchi homemade!!

Very kind staff, very excellent food! Don't recall the name of the dish as I asked for a recommendations so that I could try something new. Very good! Homemade kimchi and chili oil were to DIE for! Even had camping leftovers the next day. Best kimchi I've ever had and I lived in Hawaii. Thank you!

Lunch special teriyaki chicken and fried rice.
    Adrienne J.

The potstickers and crab puffs were good. The rest of the food we had was not good. I wanted the sweet and sour chicken house special. But it didn't come with fried rice and if I wanted that it was going to be an additional 6 bucks. No way. So I decided on the teriyaki chicken lunch special for 9.95 and on that one for some reason it was only 3$ to add fried rice. Good thing I added the rice because there was barely any chicken to be found in the dish. The plate was a huge pile of rice which would have been good but it was covered in a sauce that was so salty it was pretty much inedible. I dug down past the sauced rice and ate it with my few shreds of chicken and I am extremely disappointed. My friend got the General Tso chicken and it was flavorless. She asked for it to be spicy and it had no spice and no flavor at all. The only discernible taste was from the fryer oil that the chicken was cooked in. Mom got the kung pao chicken and again it was not spicy and the flavor was very much lacking. It was chock full of celery though. The lady was nice and the place was clean. Mom liked the egg flour soup. But overall what a huge disappointment. From the high ratings we were excited to get good Asian food but I am honestly just considering stopping at McDonalds for some nuggets and sweet and sour sauce. At least I know what that will taste like.

I am a big fan of Bibimbop. I do not recommend getting it here. They were greasy and the meat was burnt. The servings were small.

This is why I give 1 star only. 1- All tables were dirty, I mean crumbs and spilled food, just filthy. I used baby wipes to clean the table (we had a toddler with us) and I can't believe how sticky and dirty that table was!!! I wonder if it ever was cleaned. It was disgusting. 2- Neither the chicken wings nor the sauce were "a Korean food". It was KFC type of deep fried wings with diluted soy sauce on the side. Tasted like they used simple batter for frying, bland food. Bland sauce. 3- They serve food in recyclable containers, but NO RECYCLING BIN on the premises !! All those containers (2 for our 12 wings meal) - they all went to trash!!! THIS IS TERRIBLE! This place doesn't recycle!! Serving food in recyclable containers and putting them in trash??? Are you still in 18th century? Anyway, I was very displeased. Very and just disappointed. One start for relatively fast service. I won't be back.

Plenty of street parking available and the storefront had lovely plants at the entrance. Walking in felt a little crowded and awkward because of the small entryway. But it did look like they have a few booths, tables, window seating, and even a bigger private room in the back. The lunch specials were $9.99 which was an amazing value for sure! I got the Happy Bimbim Bap with chicken and my hubby got the Spicy Pork Bento Box (the bigger one for $15) The friendly staff set up our table and gave us all hot and freshly made green onion pancakes which was a nice touch! (Although it was a little too oily) Our food came out super fast - within 10 minutes of ordering?! The kids and I enjoyed all the veggies and egg for my bimbim bap but the chicken were cut until small pieces were just ok. My husband did enjoy his Spicy Pork with a good amount of spice (they asked him if he wanted spicy) and came with potstickers, California rolls, rice, and a side salad. My daughter actually really loved the green bean banchan and the daikon and kimchi were super delicious too! The owner came to our table to say hi to the kids and each table got watermelon as dessert (the Asian way!) She was so nice and offered extra watermelon for the kids if they wanted it. It also looked like they do a lot of local community work with the homeless and were super involved in providing food to those that need it. Such a lovely local restaurant. If you're in the area definitely come give it a try!

This was a major let down. All the hype for a disappointing experience…read more From the start the staff seemed just unhappy, like things weren't jiving well. The server wasn't able to answer questions about ingredients, shellfish in particular and had to be reminded. We had the garlic pork belly which was quite salty and not the best. It was a giant slab which made it take a long time to cook. The marinade could use a revisit and adjusted to taste better. Next we had the beef bulgogi. Again the marinade was a let down and it needs more of everything and less sugar. The meat was diced up and not what you'd expect for beef bulgogi. The third meat was honey soy pork belly. This was the best of the meats we had. For sides we had rice which was not served hot and was already just warm when it was delivered and was on the drier side. Japchae, which was just really sad and didn't taste like japchae should. Just a sad cold pile of sweet noodles with some fried onions and bell peppers. This dish needs some serious improvement. Crispy mandoo, can't complain, they were maybe one if the better parts of the meal, again the sauce was on the sweeter side and could have used more shoyu. Sundubu had a good soup base but was bell pepper city and only had 2 pieces of tofu. Radish paper was a delicious addition and really leveled up everything. I don't feel a need to revisit this place again, but I'm glad I tried it.
