I am a big fan of Bibimbop. I do not recommend getting it here. They were greasy and the meat was burnt. The servings were small.

Had a hankering for Chinese food so searched the reviews. Gina's Restaurant had rave reviews so we stopped in to check it out. Great choice! Fresh, on-the-spot wok prepared dishes. Started with spring rolls and homemade red sauce. YUM! I'll say it again YUM! Hubby loved the very ample portion of chicken fried rice and myself- well, I indulged in the chicken Yakisoba noodles. Their teriyaki sauce is homemade (we bought a bottle) and the best we've had. Had a nice little chat with the chef about the authentic delicacies embellishing our table. He explained his cooking techniques (thus the reasons behind the goodness); one being his homemade chili fry oil. Our server was delightful and friendly too. Ate at Gina's this evening. Mom had the beef, chicken and shrimp sweet and sour. Wonderful sauce (made in-house) and the crunch was still there in every piece - super good! I had terriaki beef with kimchi and rice. The terriaki sauce was so delicious (made in-house). I loved the combination of all three parts together. We also had the crab wontons they were hot, but not greasy. They were served with the yummy sweet and sour sauce. We will definitely be back! Yum! read more

Upon entering, we immediately smelled a thick greasy grill odor. Several of the blinds were broken and the walls were dirty. We should have left immediately, but were in a rush and decided to give it a go. The waitress was unable to oblige us for any non-standard requests since it turns out the food was precooked and just needed warming. My wife had burnt fried rice containing black specs of old grease from the wok which hadn't been cleaned recently. In a second instance of bad judgment, I gave it a taste test and could not get the bad taste out of my mouth for over an hour. I had the Kung Pao chicken which was decent. My daughter had the sweet and sour chicken. It was dry and overcooked sometime earlier that day, that week, or that month. We couldn't be certain. On the way out I noticed the kitchen. Dirty food containers were out on the counter and a five gallon bucket of sauce was sitting uncovered on the floor. The health department needs to shut this place down read more

We moved to Woodburn 10 years ago and started eating at Gina's back then, and still love it. John and Ruby are super nice and work very hard to put out a quality product and they do each and every time. My favorite is General Tao chicken, and my wife loves the shrimp yakisoba, and they make it with rice noodles for her because she is gluten intolerant. when our kids come down from Portland with grandkids we have Kuni Pao, Mongolian beef, and N'aulins fried rice. we also love the hot and sour, and egg flower soup. the prices are good and the portions are huge. great place and great people. read more

Wanting some Chinese food and decided to try Gina's as I work and live near there and ordered some takeout. Only ordered one item the yakisoba noodle combo. It wasn't good. Mostly noodles and oil. Flavored with the grill residue I think. One glob beef, three pieces of cubed chicken and three shrimp. Small amount of cabbage maybe onion and a tad of broccoli for garnish. Also a couple pieces of surprise green pepper that I'm pretty sure wasn't intentional. $16.00. Really wanted it to be great. read more

Gina's Restaurant is by far one of the most accommodating restaurant we've been to. We were treated like their family. We were driving from Washington to Los Angeles and we came 15 minutes before they are closing. I asked we if can order a to go and we will just eat in the car but Lupy who is the waitress insisted on us eating in the restaurant. This day, we ate breakfast inside the car, lunch inside the car but this time we ate in a plate on a table. Everyone was so nice including the cook. Food is the best we ate the whole trip. So delicious! We ordered fried egg rolls and asked for something they recommend...which was stir fried veggies (lots of veggies) and chicken with a side of rice. It was so fresh and delicious! Everything was delicious - even the fresh brewed iced tea (my mom would love this place just for the iced tea - lol) and the homemade sauces. We don't live near here but are coming up with reasons to go to the area just so we can have lunch here again. We will be back. read more

The potstickers and crab puffs were good. The rest of the food we had was not good. I wanted the sweet and sour chicken house special. But it didn't come with fried rice and if I wanted that it was going to be an additional 6 bucks. No way. So I decided on the teriyaki chicken lunch special for 9.95 and on that one for some reason it was only 3$ to add fried rice. Good thing I added the rice because there was barely any chicken to be found in the dish. The plate was a huge pile of rice which would have been good but it was covered in a sauce that was so salty it was pretty much inedible. I dug down past the sauced rice and ate it with my few shreds of chicken and I am extremely disappointed. My friend got the General Tso chicken and it was flavorless. She asked for it to be spicy and it had no spice and no flavor at all. The only discernible taste was from the fryer oil that the chicken was cooked in. Mom got the kung pao chicken and again it was not spicy and the flavor was very much lacking. It was chock full of celery though. The lady was nice and the place was clean. Mom liked the egg flour soup. But overall what a huge disappointment. From the high ratings we were excited to get good Asian food but I am honestly just considering stopping at McDonalds for some nuggets and sweet and sour sauce. The food was pretty good; my potstickers were stellar (drizzled with house-made teriyaki!), my father-in-law loved his sweet & sour pork, my egg drop soup was meh, and HH was underwhelmed by his three flavor kung pao. I'm giving 4 stars mostly for the service; Gina was warm and welcoming, our food was freshly made and HOT, and the location is very convenient. There aren't that many options in Woodburn, so Gina's is a very welcome option when we visit, and we will continue to frequent the place! read more

The servings here are huge! So keep that in mind when ordering. We tried a wide variety to see if we liked the place. We did. I didn't walk away craving anything, but ranged from decent to good. Here's what we tried: Egg flower soup - Really good and full of way more than normal egg flower Sweet and sour chicken - Good Pork chow mein - Decent/Good Chicken deluxe stir fry - Decent Teriyaki tofu - Good Always nice to have Chinese food in town. Visited this little restaurant on our trip to OR and WA, great food and customer service.

We ordered food from here while we were in the process of moving, thinking it was a dine in location but it was only take out orders. The lady working here was extremely sweet, patient and helpful, she even unexpectedly ran the food out to us at the car when we pulled back into the parking lot. The food smelled amazing, we ordered gyozas which i dont even think lasted 10 mins after getting home, chicken fried rice which was okay, shrimp chow mein which was kind of weird (the shrimps still had the tails on them while being cooked in) and general tsos chicken. I think it was all okay, but i think the taste was better the second day when we reheated it and mixed some of the dishes together. I think we would try this establishment again read more

Gina's restaurant seemed like a family owned business. The lady who served us was very friendly and made sure our needs were taken care of. We ordered beef teriyaki, pork fried rice, chicken broccoli soft noodles, and chicken udon. The portions were generous, especially the udon, which came in a large metal bowl. I appreciate that they don't use any MSG (or at least that's what they claim on their menu). The flavours of the dishes were good. For the beef teriyaki though, it definitely felt overcooked and not tender. I would recommend this restaurant for a quick, homey meal, especially if you're visiting the Woodburn outlets. read more

We stopped several months ago, hoping they had moved on from COVID and had indoor dining. It was raining and not only was it take out only, you couldn't even come inside to place your order. They had a table blocking the entrance so you order and sit in your car and wait for your order. The food was fine, but we won't be going back unless they open their dining room. read more

Saw the Yelp reviews and definitely saw that this place was worthy of some good Korean food. Arrived at the restaurant and immediately judged a book by its cover... full disclosure, I messed up. My friend and I went inside after a day of shopping and we were super hungry while craving Korean or Chinese food. We were immediately seated as people were actively getting to-go orders. We were given menus and the waitress was smiling and perhaps was able to tell this was our first time here. The waitress was super friendly and the service was very fast! I ordered the egg flower soup and my friend ordered pot stickers as an appetizer. The egg flower soup was AMAZING and I even dig into my friend's potstickers which were excellent! I ordered the sweet and sour pork and fried rice as my meal. Also, AMAZING! The waitress always made sure to clean off our bowls of soup and appetizer plates when finished, she was on it! I definitely recommend this family owned restaurant and strongly encourage you to not succumb and judge a book by its cover.
