The sauce OTS wasn't needed bc the flavor was so good already!

I'm from California and my friends know I love crawfish so they took me to Joe's. The seasoning & flavor was so good, I went back my last day in Texas. The price was very reasonable compared to Sacramento & I appreciate the buy 5 get 1 free deal. Like most others stated, they lacked in customer service. We had to ask for our water and waive the server to get her attention. The wall was a little dirty, so they can be a deterring factor for some to not like the place. For me, I can overlook it bc it's rare to find a GOOOOOD crawfish place.

I stopped by on Sunday afternoon for lunch after a recommendation from my sister and was quite pleased with the food. With Crawfish season starting up, it's the best time to get a boil. I ordered 3 lbs of crawfish with all the seasonings in extra hot. The crawfish were perfectly seasoned and extra hot was no joke. We ordered a side of steamed and fries as well. Next time I come by I'll probably go for medium spice but I will be back.

Hands down one of my favorite crawfish spots in the DFW! Been going here for 15+ years & you can't complain about the service, food & friendly/home-y environment. Every time crawfish season rolls around, me & my family HAVE TO pull up to see what they've brought in for that year. Definitely recommend their Banh Canh Cua Cha Ca (Udon Noodle Soup w/ Crab Meat & Fish Ball & of course, Crawfish Fried Rice. Lastly, Crawfish (deal: Buy 5 Lb, get 1Lb free) w/ the Whole Shebang Sauce. We sometimes jump between medium & spicy but if you want the spice to simmer, medium is the way & never regular because why???

Started coming here again since the pandemic has settled a bit, the crawfish are not big right now since it's barely beginning of the season. But the flavor here is on point. The definition of Viet-Cajun crawfish. I always order the Spicy Garlic-Butter Cajun. It always hits the spot. I think I've been here like 3-4x this month. I also love their soy milk. Their soy milk is made fresh, so it's good with ice and it's good hot as well. I first had the hit version in Vietnam and I've been searching far and wide for the original freshly made soy milk. So glad I was able to find it here! My bf likes the fried okras here and his favorite crawfish fried rice is here. The crawfish fried rice is nice and whole pieces not baby scraps. And the flavor is good. They also have really great banh canh which is an udon noodle soup dish. Great for winter time. I honestly think this is the best crawfish in all of aggtown. It reminds me of Houston crawfish which is where I'm from. Glad there is a source here for great crawfish!

Ordered 5 pounds of crawfish to get the free 1 pound, for a total of 6. Received less than 5 pounds. Similar to another review, I eat alot of crawfish and I know what 6 lbs feel like. Called to complain and the only answer I got is " your scale is wrong ".

We came in and it wasn't that pack on Sunday evening. We got sat down and the asked for water. Seems like quiet Vietnamese owned restaurant. Great she returned water very swiftly, but we literally had 30 seconds to look at the menu while she stares await to take our order. I appreciate the attentiveness but standing there doesn't help with very little time. As appetizer, we had the crawfish fried rice. It was more on the bland side and oily as well. We ordered the combo with dungeness crab, shrimp, crawfish, sausage, potato, and corn. We had half a pound of crawfish but seriously take a look at that picture. No way 6-7 crawfish is half a pound. On top of that the dungeness crab was cold and the meat wasn't sweet at all. You can honestly tell that the meat was not fresh. I had to ask them to heat it up. The shrimp on the other hand had a slight bitter taste. Only savior was the sausage and potato. I'm really not difficult or try to be when it comes to food, but when the food and service is subpar as this place, it's hard to turn a blind eye. Overall, very lackluster dish and service - not my first, second, third, or further choice to come back.

Definitely worth it!!…read more Food 5/5: it was so good!!! It was late in the night and my Vietnamese cravings led me here and it did not disappoint! I got Bun Bo Hue, fish sauce wings, and their special rice plate. No one can beat my mom's cooking but this is coming in close. Sometimes the soup would be too bland but this was perfect. Service 5/5: it was late and I felt bad but they took good care of us and made sure we had what we need. Ambiance: it felt like home! They had the Vietnamese street videos on and I love it. Parking: free parking!

It also came with a fried egg on top. It was delicious, the veggies were crunchy and fresh. The chicken was so tasty and very good, it had great flavor. It was really good blend of sweet, savory, and umami. It also came with a little side of fish sauce to add to the dish too. All in all it was a good dish. However, the portion size was small. I cleaned up that entire dish and didn't leave anything behind, I even ate the lettuce wrap. I've been to different Vietnamese restaurants with the same price point, and I've been given a larger portion size with leftovers to take home. That's my only qualm with this place and that's why it's 4/5 stars for me. Service was good, they did a good job taking care of a large group. I'd recommend this place.
