Always hits the mark when it comes to authentic flavors. Servings are generous and if your looking for a place to satisfy those cravings for Chinese food, this is one of the places I would hugely recommend. It's all about the food and nothing fancy about the decor or dining area. Just the food! Located at Ben Than Plaza, you can't miss right upfront next to one of the main entrances.

That restaurant over there as I sit across in My Tho.

Really great Chinese food! They have their special chicken with this amazing ginger scallion sauce, their Peking duck is always very fresh. My favorite is salt & pepper tofu, and a pound of the roasted pork. The crispy crunchy skin always hits the spot! They have other great food and a huge selection to choose from. Service and ambiance is good for dine in!

An amazing family spread peeking down lo mein, fried rice and Chinese broccoli

This was an amazing place for dinner... The owner is a friend from Boy Scouts, His food was incredible. The Peking duck alone was to die for. We had shrimp, lo mein, and multi fried rice and Chinese broccoli with onions and garlic and hot and sour soup. The whole thing was so delicious every bite. We were fighting over the buns for the duck. It was so incredibly tasty, and I really really loved it. Highly recommend it and can't wait to go back.

I've been eating at this place for a couple years now and they are consistent with the quality and the authenticity of the food. The staff was helpful finding dishes try. The inside is not the cleanest place though. The food is very flavorful and tender. I've ordered over ten different dishes from here and each have been great. I definitely recommend to get the Pork with preserve vegetables which is a pork belly dish that is extremely tender and has a rich braised soy sauce that goes well with rice. I also recommend getting the French Style Cubed Beef which is stir fried tender cubes of beef.

The food was just OK. The BBQ pork fried rice had barely any BBQ pork in it and it was very mushy. The crab rangoon had a decent flavor but it was chewy and not crispy. The szechwan chicken was nothing like I expected. It had a decent flavor but not your typical szechwan chicken. It was not at all spicy. The salt and pepper tofu was the best thing I had except that they used soft tofu. The flavor was correct but the texture was way too soft for fried tofu. Overall, this place is very disappointing for the prices they charge.

The first time I bought this food. The man at register used rude words with me and had a harsh tone of voice. The taste of the food was bad. Because it's like old and messy. This is the first and only time. I probably won't go back to buy food there again.

Old roast pork with mostly just Fat.

OLD meat. Went in at lunch today to buy half a pound of roast pork. The owner said he only sell by the pound so I said I'll take a pound. He proceeded to call a lady from the back to cut the pork and weighed it. Came out to be 2.5 lbs. I told him it was too much for just me. She cut off a little more this time it was 1.5 lbs. still too much for just one person. When I told him it was just me, she put the pork back and grabbed one from a plate on the side and a large piece of pork skin which came out to a little over a lbs. at this point I wanted to leave due to their attitude but didn't since they had already cut the pork. BIG mistake. When I got out to the car and checked the my box it was mostly fat and crispy skin. There was hardly any meat, just a few pieces and it was old. Now I know why both of them were laughing. Previously I had came here several time and in the past they had alway over weight meat. If I asked for 1 lbs they pushed 2.5-3 lbs. I will NEVER come back here again.

This is our go-to for great Chinese in Arlington! After moving to Arlington in 2020 we quickly found this gem while checking out what was in Ben Thanh Plaza. We've been here many, many times here but oddly have never tried the roast duck meal. One day we will! However we ALWAYS order their roast duck noodle soup, which is amazing! Not sure how a dish can be both comfort food and exciting, but it is. And I think I can say that about everything we've tried here. We've tried several dishes but keep going back to a few favorites, like the soup. From our latest meal there, we had the duck soup - of course, beef with snow pea leaves, salt and pepper soft shell crab, and mapo tofu - all excellent. Other dishes we've ordered more than once are the pork belly with preserved vegetables, snow pea leaves with garlic, combination fried rice, and Singapore and Cantonese rice noodles. Pricing is moderate, even fairly inexpensive for some things. Hubby and I usually order enough food for like 6-8 people and get out of there for less than $100. Don't judge! We like leftovers! We've always had good service from our very first visit. The owner is a man of few words and maybe can come off as a bit short (don't ask for any substitutions!), but we've never found him, or anyone else there, to give bad service or to be rude in any way. Quite the opposite, and now I guess we're semi-regulars so we're always treated warmly. FYI, the only think I dislike - and it has nothing to do with the restaurant - is the only restroom (that I know of) is in the back of the food court, quite a ways away from this restaurant. And it's ALWAYS dirty and disgusting with leaky toilets.

Lobster fried rice, boiled chicken, Peking duck, tempera shrimps, crab maw and fish soup
    Lillian L.

We ordered to go. Lobster fried rice was amazing. I loved it. It is on par with other restaurants like Ocean. Peking duck was very good and there wasn't much fat on it which is rare!!! We also got regular boiled chicken and barely any fat on it... perfect! Crab maw and fish soup was pretty good too. Tempura shrimps were big and everyone liked it. We pretty much ordered two servings of everything and total was like $250. It is not bad at all. Would definitely order again.

I would say they need to be on tables to wipe them down before the next people sit down, maybe figure some fly control & clean up/ touch up paint the walls in that front room. The brisket and pork ribs were decent, but honestly pretty dry and lacking in flavor when compared to some other BBQ places in DFW. For the price, it's pretty similar to other BBQ in the area. The Texas Twinkie is a jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese and brisket and wrapped in bacon. It was my favorite item as the cream cheese and bacon balanced out the spiciness of the jalapeño. The mac n cheese was also delicious with the perfect amount of spice. The service was great too as they made a mistake on my order and quickly corrected it. I like that this place is open daily and for dinner too. Overall, I would recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for some BBQ, but if you're a huge fan of BBQ then I recommend going to the other top BBQ places.

This place is AMAZING, it's the best BBQ I've had in my life (I lived in Texas for 20+ years). All the meats were amazing. The pork rib was the best thing, so tender and juicy. The pork belly was a huge surprise - it's so good too. The turkey was one of the most moist turkey I've ever had my entire life. The sausage was cheesy and juicy, one of the best ones I've had. The brisket was solid too, but surprisingly my least favorite of all the meat I ordered. The desserts were decent, but I don't think I would order that again. I'm just a pork rib girl more than a beef rib girl. - Pork Ribs - Unfortunately, it wasn't as "fall of the bone" as other places. It may have just been the piece we got, but the one we had was 70% bark and 30% meat (if that make sense, I prefer more of a true 50/50 split) - Lamb Ribs - Not something you see at every bbq so we got some to try. I liked it. Can't decide which one I like more between pork vs lamb ribs. - Lao Sausage - Their sausage is kinda big. I felt like 1 sausage is the size of 2 sausages at other bbq joints. It's serves with sticky rice and honestly it works really well. - Mac & Cheese - A bit heavy on the pepper. It was alright not my favorite mac and cheese. - South Carolina Pork Hash - a unique side that is special to them. Pork Gravy over jasmine rice. Too mushy for me. - Lemon Kale Slaw - It was alright. Not my favorite slaw. - Banana Pudding - Yummy. I really like their banana pudding. It had a slight cinnamon and almost graham cracker taste to it. - House made bread - Yummy. Almost like a sweet roll meets white bread. We went on a rainy Friday morning. Arrived at 9:30 ish, got our food and seated by 12:30 ish. Asked the dude first in line what time he got there and he said 7:30ish. People abandon their lawn chairs so they had a decent amount near the entrance of the store that people just borrow while they're waiting. When the rain got bad, they let customers wait in the covered area where they store the smokers which was nice.
