Great sports bar , best sports bar in southwest suburbs . Very clean, quality food. TVs everywhere with every live game on. The staff is attentive and outstanding. Funny is that when I was going thru a divorce me lawyers office is up the street so my first stop after was here, lol. But I love the atmosphere, if you sit at the bar it's not cramped but spacious tabletop. Well lit. The parking seems sparse from the front but there's a huge lot in the back and can access from front or back door. Two huge screens showing hottest game in the front over the bar. After a long 8 hour drive of travel my husband and I decided to eat out. In the area we decided to try joe Daniel's. I ordered fish tacos and after a wait (our appetizer was delivered and we were eating it) the waitress came back to tell me they were out of fish. I reordered an apple flatbread and we continued eating out chicken wings. The chicken wings were bone in and blood red in the bone so we picked around them. After about 5-10 o min waitress came back to tell me they were out of flatbread. So I then ordered mini burgers/sliders. Our food arrived mine and my husbands Taco salad. The restaurant was clean.Bathroom was clean. Atmosphere was good. Music was great. Server was nice. Order was accurate. The food was blah. The reuben sandwich had three slices of corned beef. We found this place by accident what a Great find and to see the Great Elmo....from the time you walk it feels like home..... from the decor to the music playing... the food selection covers all taste .. .the gravy with the sausage and peppers outstanding just a hint of Spice.....seeing Calamari Salad is something you don't see a lot but it was excellent. Went for lunch. Place was empty. The server was lovely, which is why it gets 2 stars. The floor was unbelievably sticky. We arrived when it opened and noticed later there was garbage on the floor under a number of tables. So guessing the place wasn't cleaned well from the day/night before. I ordered a buffalo shrimp wrap. It was basically lettuce and tomato in a tortilla. I opened it up after not tasting shrimp and there was one shrimp in the whole half of the wrap. For $14.95. My mom ordered fish and chips. The breading was soggy and the fish was just gross. She tried to move her plate at one point and it stuck to the table. Even my daughters chicken nuggets were not great. Pretty dry. We will definitely not be back. read more

It was Saturday the 25th of February 2023 at 5:22pm. We came in to try this place after seeing some posts on Facebook. It was somewhat crowded which was fine. We sat down and waited for our server. Took about 6 mins to get someone who brought a menu and took our drink order. It took about 6 mins for her to return with our drinks but she didn't take our food order. I like that you can order the boneless wings plain and get the sauce on the side. The honey barbeque and buffalo are both good and the blue cheese dipping sauce is yummy. Mix them together and yum! The pretzel bites and spinach-artichoke dip are ok but nothing special. I'm very picky, however, so take that how you will. Points off for: 1) Having a menu that says they serve Stuffed Pepper soup on Saturdays and they don't actually have that soup. 2) Not having anywhere to hang your purse in the bathroom stalls. I think I have outgrown this place. I remember liking it when I was 23. My guess is that it's ok for college kids or old men after work. I met a friend for lunch the other day and was excited to try it again. I probably won't ever go back. The service was terrible. The bartender was eating or on her phone the entire time. I had to wait for silverware well after my food was delivered. We also waited forever for the check! It was annoying. The food is nothing special. The beer list is awful!! It's dark, like REALLY dark in there, and they have a reindeer head on the wall. Overall the atmosphere is kind of cool for a bar, and their Sam Adams is pretty cheap. That's where it ends though. The burgers are $8.00 and SO GREASY. My hands were soaked through the bread. Ew. Since their pizza is supposed to be "good", we got the bruschetta pizza as an appetizer. Big mistake. It was essentially flatbread covered with chopped tomatoes, what appeared to be either Bleu Cheese or Gorgonzola, and crappy processed grated Parmesan cheese covering the entire thing. That's it. Each time I have gone to this establishment I have felt like the quality, cleanliness, food quality, and drink quality has diminished. This place has an awesome presence, it would be great to see some reinvestment into the furniture and bar area. The food was okay, but I believe in order to be competitive long term. Something will have to change. My intent of sharing this review is to be as honest and open as possible without casting negativity on the bar. It's a great location to meetup with friends. It is a nice chill place. Somewhere to watch a game but still be able to hold a conversation. I feel like they are always short staffed. Although our server was friendly, it seemed like he had all of the tables in the place. I would recommend the nachos, pizza, or club/blt. My friend ordered the crab cakes and was disappointed. I would give it 2 1/2 stars if I could. It's nothing over 3 but it's really not a 2 either. It's your basic bar. Good for groups if you get there early so you can get a table. Beer is on the cheap side but everything south seems cheaper compared to the North Side. It's a real Jeans and a T-Shirt type bar. They sell food but I haven't had it. I order lunch from Joe Daniels at least 4 times a week. I have my favorites: Thin cracker crust pizza, chicken ceasar wrap, blue cheese burger, great salsa and more... the food is great - very consistent & they are quick in the kitchen. It's a nice neighborhood pub to enjoy a good meal! read more

I am a Guiness drinker and it is always poured the right way and very fresh. Very clean establishment and the food is served in an appealing manner. I had the shrimp Dinner last night after 9pm and the oil that was used for the shrimp and fries was clean and not over used. The only down side was that the Bears laid an egg on MNF. read more

Haven't been here in quite a long time. It reminded me of a college bar. As a party of 8 hung out in the front tables. The waitresses were flipping a coin to see who could go home. After 10 minutes and three people that went to the bar to get their own drinks a server shows up. How nice of her to notice us! We stayed for a couple hours and we had to get up and get our own drinks several more times. I don't live by here, so I am sure the kids who come here will keep this place in business! read more

Really good wings. I like that they have a crunchy coating and the sauces are served on the side. Not the wings under the appetizer section; those are different. The spicy pizza is also very good and the burgers. A pint of Sams is only $3.50 so pretty decent. read more
