Alright folks. I have been WAITING for what seems like forever for this place to open. I pass it everyday on my way to work. So I was super pumped it opened ! My first experience I went on Saturday morning at 8 am and had to wait outside because of a line but it was worth it. I do wish they had heaters outside to stand under or an enclosed heated wait area because the place is small so you have to wait outside and it just happened to be really cold that day. But no worries. There were so many different flavors to chose from it was a little overwhelming because I wanted to try them all but hurry and order for the people waiting in the cold behind me, maybe having an outside white board with the menu or flavors so people are ready to order when they get in would be a stellar idea!!! :) We got a fruity pebbles, pb&j and a chocolate cake one. All were awesome! The fruity pebbles was messy to eat but tasted like a good childhood memory of a bowl of cereal. Pb&j was delicious. I'm not a jelly donut fan but this, this was like a delicious crustless peanut butter sandwich, donut style. YUM Chocolate cake -my favorite and this did not disappoint. The outside looked dark but it was good , cakey , not dry and the chocolate was the bomb. Good job. I went this morning to bring some in to my coworkers and I got there and they didn't have all the donuts out which made me sad as I was there a bit after they opened ...(wasn't crowded & no wait yay) once I made my choices I noticed as I was settling up there we're ones not on display that I didn't know they had ... hmmm they looked good, not sure if I would have gotten different ones but I still would have liked the option of all of them. Maybe my Fault for not asking are these the only ones you have. But this is okay as it Gives me an excuse to go back for more!!!! And they said oh we have these do you want to swap out? Which I said nah because time was ticking and I had to still drive to the office. But I appreciated that they offered that :)! Next time I will ask "is this all of your flavors today?" :) I love this place. I recommend it. They have Good coffee. Nice employees. Good donuts that are creative and not just your average donut. Finally!!!!!...a city-like option for donuts in the suburbs/Glenview. My motto...if you're gonna eat a donut, make sure it's a GOOD donut (dd doesn't make the cut - ever!). Joe Donut is a small quaint shop next to the Metra in downtown Glenview. The options are varied and YUMMY. What a great treat on a Sunday morning (for me) or any morning. Finally good donuts in the area instead of over-sweetened Dunkin donuts garbage. Not a fan of cake donuts but the yeast donuts like the glaze and oreo are my favorite. They remind me of southern california donuts. read more

A great little donut shop by the Glenview train station. The vanilla glazed old fashioned is to die for! At first look the donut appears exploded like it was in the fryer too long. But let me tell you this not the case. The outside is a wonderful crispness that yields to a moist center with a beautiful sweet glaze. The best donut I've ever had! They also have cups of tiny donuts with sprinkles that the kids love. These also make a great Happy Birthday greeting on your co-workers desk! read more

This donut place is a small hole in the wall. The donut is very tasteful and moist. I would definitely recommend to anyone. the only reason I didn't give it a five star was because the employee was very dry. Did not seem friendly at all. I love this little shop. Their gourmet donuts are mouthwatering and always made fresh! They have old fashion donuts along with the classic fluffy type you see and DD, but so much better! They also offer breakfast sandwiches and beverages with their donuts. Their flavors range from the classics to flavors flavors that are hard to find anywhere else. Excellent homemade donuts in so many flavors. On our first trip, we tried the chocolate glazed, salted caramel, pistachio, chocolate iced, and sprinkles. Hits all-around! I love how the glaze melts into the crispy outside. Coffee is good. They stay open until they sell out of donuts, and you may have to wait in line but it is worth it. My husband and I went to the free preview last Saturday. I got the red velvet donut, which was yummy, very rich for the cream cheese filling. Went back on opening day and had the cinnamon sugar donut. Went again today (the line was out the door and down the block at 8:30am) and had the sprinkle donut. The donuts are good and definitely better than the standard Dunkin Donuts currently available around here. I personally still love Bennison's Bakery in Evanston's donuts and Glazed and Infused in the city. But this is a big win for Glenview! read more

I've read good things about this place so I decided to try it out this morning. I stopped by right at 7:00 am and noticed that they were still closed. I waited until 7:15 am then had to leave after they never opened. I could see employees working in the back but all the lights were off up front. It amazes me that they wouldn't open on time. I understand 5 minutes or so, but this wasn't the case. I checked their website, the front door, and Facebook. They all said the store opens at 7:00 am. An easy fix to this would be to use your social media to let people know that you're not opening or that you're opening late. read more

Not even 11 am on a Saturday and almost nothing left, no Oreo, no Fruity Pebbles, and they are open until 3pm today according to internet. I wouldn't recommend unless you get there first thing when they open. They don't keep the flavors replenished. Maybe once they've been around longer, they will get better at this. I am unlikely to come back. read more

I love donuts but I'm a little uncultured when it comes to where I get them- DD or the grocery store bakery-lol This place is different. It's reminiscent of the donut shops you have to go to the hipster sections of the city for. Fantastic selection. We got the 14 pack so we could try as much as we could.
