Toasted Ravioli (minus the 4 we ate already)
    Lisa I.

I cannot say enough amazing things about their food. We had the toasted ravioli, spaghetti & meatballs, and stuffed shells. The marinara with the toasted ravioli was delicious, and the ravioli were perfectly crispy and stuffed. The stuffed shells came out bubbling hot and was perfect. The cheese on top was soooo good. My boyfriend tore into his spaghetti and meatballs right away and said it was delicious. I will dream about this bread, though. Hot, perfectly crispy outer layer, soft and fluffy inside. Highly recommend trying it in the leftover sauce from the entrees. The owner was a wonderful man who told us about his time in New York and his shop now. It was a very pleasant chat and I'm glad it was slow enough to be able to talk to him. We will absolutely be back.

When you go into this little place you will see a few tables and a big counter at the back. Go up to the counter and order your food and I promise it will be fantastic!! We had the baked rigatoni and the lasagna. And about the bread...they gave us two loaves that were each about the size of your arm. Warm and delicious.

We came here based on the recommendation of another restaurant's staff in the area. We started with garlic knots - holy cow these are good. Great flavor and comes with a side of marinara. The marinara is sweet and so good! We had a pepperoni, green pepper (included red), and garlic. This was also delish. Staff were all very friendly.

    Two slice lunch special

I came here for lunch recently, and maybe I am spoiled by having had good experiences with pizza by the slice, but this was an eh experience. Food Ordered their lunch special of two slices of pizza and a drink for $7. Pizza was eh. Cheese was rubbery and extremely greasy. Very little toppings, and while the crust was okay, the base of the pizza was soggy and blah, due to grease. Service The guy behind the bar was rude and curt to all the guests, except for the regulars whom he recognized. Atmosphere The main room I was in was cute and felt like s good pizzeria in NYC. I saw in the other room there were a few more tables and some gaming machines. Overall wouldn't be a first choice for lunch when back in the area, but might give it another try...might.

Ordered and picked up at the counter. Ordered, Calzones, rigatoni and manicotti. Everyone liked their dishes but the calzone gets rave reviews from the table. The restaurant is a staple to downtown since 1978 and it looks like time has stood still. If you need a blast from the past, this is your place!

The pizza is amazing. The service is quick and no nonsense. It's very rustic and comfortable.

    This is the large pizza!

The food, service, AND ambiance is amazing here! The tastes amazing (the portions are pretty big!), the service is quick and professional and the employees are very good-natured! The ambiance is also so charming and if I lived around here this would be my go-to Italian spot!

Overpriced pizza for small slice. It taste worst than frozen pizza. It reminded me of the crappy pizza they gave us in grammar school.

The atmosphere felt dated, with dark wood-paneled walls and a dining room that seemed geared toward an older crowd. That's not necessarily a negative, but the food was the bigger disappointment. We started with the bruschetta ($14.50), which was not what we expected. Instead of a traditional bruschetta, it was essentially sesame-seed bread topped with olive tapenade, red onions, tomatoes, and olives. It lacked freshness and balance. I ordered the Shrimp Alfredo ($26.00), and it was simply bland. The baby shrimp, fettuccine, and Alfredo sauce came together in a dish that was forgettable and lacked flavor. My husband and son were similarly underwhelmed by their meals. The baked ravioli was probably the best thing we ordered, but even that wasn't particularly memorable. The house salads arrived swimming in Italian dressing, and the house cabernet did nothing to improve the meal. Overall, the food felt dated, heavy, and uninspired. We left wondering how a restaurant with such a strong reputation could serve food that seemed stuck decades in the past. Unfortunately, this is not a place we'll be returning to.

The ambiance was welcoming and made you feel like you were definitely in an Italian restaurant. It was a little loud but not to a point where it was unbearable. We started with some Itialian lemon tea and peach tea that were unbelievably tasteful. We also had to try the black cherry cane soda that was so flavorful. NEW YEARS SALAD was so good and everything in the salad seemed to be of high quality. I wish there was a little more dressing but overall the amount of dressing would prob be great for the normal person. I ordered the FUSILLI AL PESTO and it was so good. I added shrimp to it and it went well with the flavor. The bread they bring out was so soft and delicious. We could have eaten another loaf. We also ordered the pizza and it was so good. The kids ate the whole pizza and said we have to come back here again. I have to say the pizza was not like any other pizza in town. The parking can be a bit tough but absolutely worth trying to find a spot.

He was super friendly and welcoming. You order at the counter, get a number and then they bring the food to your table. No frills which I appreciate. The pizza crust is nice and thin and crispy when it first comes out. And you can tell they know flavors. But honestly as other reviewers said, that berry salad is SPECIAL! When I finished it I was sad it was gone and considering ordering a full size to go. I mean I can't understate how tasty this salad is!
