We are beyond frustrated with the way State Farm and Joe Hudson Collision Center -- especially Ashley at Joe Hudson -- have mishandled our claim. On April 3, 2025, our Honda CR-V went into a ditch and had to be towed from the scene because it was undriveable. That's when the nightmare began: - State Farm forced us to use Joe Hudson Collision, despite our objections and the fact that family, friends, and online reviews warned us about them. - Joe Hudson then kept our car for over a month, constantly missing promised completion dates, exhausting our rental coverage, and leaving us stranded without transportation. - When we finally got the car back on May 5, 2025, we immediately noticed wet spots in the driveway. - On August 2, 2025, during routine service at Honda World Louisville, their certified technicians documented a front driver-side axle leak. This issue never existed before the accident. We reported this right away. At first, Joe Hudson admitted it was related and that it would be handled. But then Ashley at Joe Hudson suddenly changed her story and claimed the leak had nothing to do with the accident. This is the same Ashley who has been impossible to reach, never provides updates, and leaves customers hanging for weeks at a time. Think about this: - They already authorized the repair under the original claim. - They even repaired a driver-side scratch, despite claiming damage was 'passenger side only.' - They never provided a pre-existing condition report at intake. - They never documented a teardown inspection. - Now, after months of delays and confusion, they want to rewrite history and dump the costs on us. To make things worse, State Farm and Joe Hudson are now trying to force us into a gamble: authorize a teardown for inspection, but if they decide it's not related, we're on the hook for teardown, reassembly, and repairs -- after already paying our deductible. This is dishonest, disorganized, and unethical. It looks like retaliation because we lost confidence in Joe Hudson's incompetence and asked to move the car to Honda Collision, a shop we trust. Joe Hudson clearly didn't like losing out on more insurance money, so they flipped their story. Here's the truth: - Axles and seals don't just 'start leaking' at 60,000 miles with minimal driving. - The only things that cause that are: a major accident (which happened), or sloppy repair work (which Joe Hudson has shown over and over again). Instead of standing behind their obligations, State Farm and Joe Hudson are burying us in delays, contradictions, and outright dishonesty. We are filing complaints with the BBB, the Indiana Department of Insurance, and anywhere else consumers deserve to know how this company treats its customers. Warning to others: Do NOT trust Joe Hudson Collision Center with your car. And if you're with State Farm, be prepared for endless runaround when you actually need them. read more

Went in for a minor repair, and instead of going through a lengthy process one of the processors reattached the small roof molding. And to top it, he didn't charge us!! That is great customer care. I will contact Hudson's first for future repairs. read more

My experience with Joe Hudson's was one of the best that I've had while having my car worked on. The communication was absolutely stellar! My car was there for 4 weeks due to a nation-wide backorder of a key component (Hyundai and Kia vehicles were being stolen a lot at this time and ignition switches were in short supply). The first text I received was a link to their online tracker that I could access at any time. However, I was also sent personalized updates each week at a minimum and more frequently when work was happening. I never had to call to check on it or find out where we were with it. The estimated date of completion that was provided early on was spot on. The walk through of the work to be done was easy, on-site and straightforward. The work done was satisfactory. They cleaned up but didn't detail the car, as agreed on when we reviewed the car the first day. How's the price? I don't know. My insurance company handled everything except for the deductible. This is truly the very 1st negative review I have written. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! The experience was dreadful. My daughter was in a minor fender bender and they had the vehicle for 8 WEEKS!! And on top of that, didn't even repair all the items that needed fixed. Or communicate why the issues were not corrected. Terrible customer service, communication and repair work. I dealt with several points of contact, each worse than the one prior and all avoiding any accountability for the time delay, shoddy work or lack of communication. I would avoid using this shop at all cost. They definitely are not customer service oriented and the quality of their work was horrible. They had my car almost a month longer than projected, with calling weekly to see if it was ready. Not once did they call and explain any type of delay. I called their corporate office, with no response from them after numerous calls. Finally received a call from a regional manager who asked me to take my car back to them to get the problem fixed. Again, a week later i called and they said there was nothing wrong and i could come pick up my car. Needless to say i had to take it somewhere else to get it fixed at my expense. I came here due to it being a preferred vendor from the insurance of the other party when I was hit. They did an excellent job on my car, the estimating process was easy, beautiful workmanship and I liked the texted updates. Vehicle was done sooner that estimated! I would have like a little more heads up to that but all went extremely well. I would definitely consider for future repairs! read more

My family had used this body shop many times before they were bought by Joe Hudson and previously loved it. It IS NOT the same company whatsoever. To make the events as concise as possible they did not order the parts when they said, kept my car an additional week from the quote, when I picked it up there were additional problems that were not present before and they changed info they had previously told me each time I called. I am a patient person who also works in customer service so I understand that events out of their control happen, but they took this to the extreme by having the most drastic excuses every single time that constantly changed and asking me to call back the next day. Additionally, they do not communicate well. As a customer I would appreciate a message saying hey the part didn't come in, we are short today, we broke your X and are waiting on a replacement. Nope, each time I had to call and ask for an update. Yes, they have an app that automatically texts you, but it did not match what the human reps said.
