My car was vandalism rear door . Jan 4th. Glass busted minor glass in car due to window came out in once piece. Called Hudson on the 8th got estimates done parts ordered so they said scheduled drop off on the 16th. Called on the 18th so see how long they wouldn't give me an estimate. Said the parts just came in. Mind you I haven't to keep calling them to get up dates. The 19th they tell me I need a window regulator it would be here on Monday. Still no call on update so I give them til Wednesday I call. Now they part hasn't showed up yet and it is now 27th now they are stating it would not be until possible Thursday feb 1st. Mind you im paying out of pocket for rental already up to 500 + . I think they are full of it i could of driven to where the part is and picked it up. I brought my car in for a simple fender repair something any competent shop could finish in days and they somehow managed to drag it out for over a month. When I finally thought it was done, they tacked on another five days. Their customer service is as useless as their timelines, no accountability, and zero urgency even when I explained I needed my vehicle for an important meeting. In 2020 my 2008 Toyota Solara was struck while parked in a lot. The rear bumper was ripped off. Had it not been a convertible, I would not have been able to put the whole bumper in the car in order to transport it to my home and have the car towed with all the pieces. Without notification or permission, Bill Hudson threw away the bumper with all of it's salvageable lights and parts. The repair was delayed because those parts had to be ordered. I had my 2018 Dodge Ram towed into shop after front collision.The rental from State Farm was not going to be available until I got my truck to certified repair center,so I choose one close to home.I drove my truck home after collision.To my surprise they said total loss on vehicle,but I had went by shop to see about truck the manager said 'i sure wouldn't total that out,get that fixed down the street for 3000".I got message to turn in rental,then I needed to pick up truck,so my son was told he could drive it home.The truck was on the other side of shop the ac conde!nsorr took offf so all freon gone they over filled the oil ,and they put antifreeze in it and was moved from where it wa when it was inspected.All the employees were laughing when my son drove out of your shop.Your employees have blew my motor it smokes thick and I want an explanation for the damages,remember I have 2 other witnesses that came with me after appraiser,the truck I drove home after collision,andI know the truck was moved,drove and parts tore off ac,now motor blown o rings,lifters.Mr Hudson how will you fix this?Tap on a clip to paste it in the text box. read more

AVOID THIS SHOP My girlfriend recently took her suv here due to the rear windshield being shattered. Upon bringing it in it seemed like a simple process and that we would be in good hands, seeing as how this Joe Hudson has the best reviews in the area. How wrong were we. Understandably, due to the shipping issue currently it was fine that it may take a while to get the correct parts. Being as how the car was missing a window, it had to be wrapped. Coastal Georgia in the summer time gets an insane amount of rain. This car was left outside, and apparently whoever wrapped it didn't do a good job since there is a musty smell in the car when it was picked up. Examining the car upon pickup, there were still shards of glass very visible in and around the trunk area. They were supposed to sublet the car to a third party since there was so much glass, this did not happen. Also, the lift gate light comes on and off now, assuming there is glass still left in the lift gate. Glass can also be heard when opening and closing the lift gate. After letting the shop know about the glass that was not cleaned we had to go up the chain to complain in order for them to re clean it. They came to pick up the car, re clean it and drop it off. Unsurprisingly there are still glass shards in the trunk as well as the lift gate light still coming on. What a nightmare. Avoid this shop at all costs. read more

They do not deserve even 1 Star!!! Extremely dishonest company. Shoddy repairs. Work needed to be re-done MULTIPLE times! My vehicle sustained more damage from Joe Hudson's Collision Center than the original accident. I can give you a detailed description of my experience with extensive documented proof. Do not make the mistake of choosing this shop! I guarantee you will regret it! **If you did have a vehicle repaired here, or at the Garden City location, please take it somewhere else for a POST COLLISION REPAIR INSPECTION. Do not use a preferred shop chosen by your insurance company. Find a trusted company like Hernandez's, do research or message me for suggestions based on extensive research that I have done. You will be shocked at what a trustworthy inspection will find. There is a lot of hidden damage when your vehicle leaves Joe Hudson's. If I can help 1 person avoid the problems I have had because of this company, it will be worth it. Don't put yourself or your family members in danger by trusting your vehicle repair to this company. Work performed on my automobile was unsafe, inoperable and missing parts. Car was returned to me in non-working condition (car overheated upon starting the engine) and with faulty replacement of parts (door inoperable and parts unsecured in a fashion of quality - loose and duct-taped). I had to seek alternative mode of transportation, fly in and out of town to accommodate constant failed completion dates, towing services and alternative repair shops/dealerships services to correct issues on several occasions as new faults presented themselves. My husbands car was in an accident and we were PCSing to Colorado within the next few days. Joe Hudson kept our car for 2 months after the accident to repair it(which was fine we still had another vehicle). When we had the vehicle shipped to Colorado after it was finished everything seemed to be okay. I inspected the car, I found a bunch of screws and bolts in the center console( no idea what they go to) I found some other part that ended up being a censor. I called the manager and spoke to him about needing the missing cover to the engine..he gave me his personal phone number and asked me to text him a picture of what was missing...never heard back from him. Also the windshield wiper fluid line was never hooked back up. I just discovered this because my husband has been stationed in Korea. He came to visit and looked at his car and found some other minor issues. (Missing bolts) Im leaving a 2 star review because the car is repaired and drives fine, but the amount of missing things and the manager not replying is very unprofessional! I will be contacting my insurance company again for this. read more

Major complaint is it took a week to schedule an estimate and an additional 2 weeks to actually get my car in for repairs. Otherwise, workmanship was great, it took 1 day longer than expected due to unforeseen damage not seen during the estimate. read more

Sorry to say , this job took over serval weeks to finish. I was notified on Oct 24 with an email on my status . As the time went by I started calling once a week on the status of the car. I was not notified when the doors came in they were damaged. Another week to reorder, then the windows were not correctly tinted. Again I called all this time I was doing the communication. My daughter was told someone would go over the car with her when she picked it up. Pretty much theirs your car any questions. Plus it had pieces of the car left in her car. Not sure if they were old parts or parts that have not been put on . Sadly I just wanted to be kept updated . The last call I made was can you give me a date & time for pick up , I heard from them four wonderful times on that date. Thinking we need to get this car done because I'm starting to be a pain in the ass. I've always loved Wards could have been just the wrong time and place for Joe Hudson collision. I had my car repaired from an auto accident just this month. Joe Hudson's Collision Center did an excellent job keeping me informed on the status of my 2016 Nissan Sentra. I received text messages and emails on a routine basis on my car's status during repair. I really thought this was so helpful and it let me be repair for the time my car was ready for pickup. Also, my windshield wiper sensor kept coming on after the accident and it came on shortly after I picked up my car. I had called them right away and they had it fixed immediately. Great job!
