This is an amazing hidden gem right off the 67 freeway. Joe and his crew of Barbers are a friendly bunch of local guys who make you feel comfortable and welcome. There is no stuffy attitude or too cool vibes here. There are pictures of Joe's son and some of his artwork up which gives the place a homely feel. Everything has a story from the pictures to the seats that came from the now demolished Jack Murphy Stadium. There are pictures of the lines men that helped electrify Southern California. Eric cut my hair the last two times I was there and he did a great at making me look respectable again...trust me no easy task. I highly recommend you set up an appointment before you come by. Terrible customer service. I took an hour and a half off work just to get in and get cut. Had an appointment schedule with Joe at 1 pm. I get there and he is finishing up a guy. One of the barbers ask if i had an appointment and i said yes. Joe finishes with his guy and proceeds to grab a young kid who was a walk in. About 10 minutes into the cut he asks who my appointment was with and i told him it was with him at 1, its now 115. Apparently they set up an app for appointments but weren't paying attention to it. He freezes not know what to do. I tell him no worries finish them up and I'll wait. He cuts both of them and by this time its a little after 2pm. He comes to me and tells me he is booked for the rest of the day and cant cut me, no one else is in the shop. Im like really? I just took an hour and a half off work to get cut, had an appointment, let these kids go ahead of me with no appointment, and waited over an hour. I sat there for over an hour waiting and thats what he tells me. Maybe start with that next time. Definitely wont be going back. read more

I've been getting my hair cut by Joe for years. It's so nice to finally be able to book an appointment directly with Joe via his personal number after years of waiting in line at his last shop (no shade, they were a great group of barbers and a fantastic shop, just didn't take appointment). Joe is the most consistent barber I've ever been to and he's old school in the best of ways. Not only are his haircuts on point, but he's a great person, a real family man. I am proud of him for opening his own shop and looking forward to doing my small part to support this local business, especially after how impacted the barber community has been with Covid-19 restrictions in place.
