Streaks left on all windows, dashboard, and drive panel. Spots left on the dash clearly indicating they didn't clean it at all. I called this afternoon to ask if our car was ready, and was told the mats were still drying..."they had blowers on them," I was told. We arrived a few minutes later only to discover that the "blowers" were actually THE CAR'S HEATING SYSTEM, set to highest fan setting and temperature. Fortunately for THEM we drive an EV, so their drying tactic was not in violation of Vermont's state idling/emission law. But it makes me wonder: do they do this with ALL vehicles? We were charged extra for dog hair. We have a NON-SHEDDING dog. The staff person showed me images of *maybe* 5 individual hairs he found in the car. When I questioned the excessive charge he became confrontational and disrespectful. We've given thousands of dollars to Seaway over more than 20 years as loyal customers. We will NEVER be back, and hope this review saves others the money and aggravation of dealing with these people. Only go there if you enjoy being overcharged for mediocre service and then confronted by surly staff when you question them.

I made a light, offhand comment about it being a little unusual, but I was clear that it wasn't a problem--I immediately paid in full and left a generous tip. Later that day, the owner called me and spoke to me in a very aggressive and hostile manner, questioning whether I had an issue with how he runs his business. The tone of the call felt confrontational and unprofessional, and it left me feeling uneasy and very shaken. This has happened to me on multiple occasions. It's deeply frustrating for people who work insane hours to take the time to drive over (with plenty of time to spare), only to be told in a very brusque manner that they aren't accepting any more cars. It should be noted that other locations don't seem to have this problem- it seems to be a quirk of workplace culture specific to this particular location.
